Florine Agnes Tester

A memorial service for Florine Agnes Tester will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Church of the Nazarene, 1974 E. McAndrews Road, Medford. Pastor Kevin Gowland will officiate.

Mrs. Tester, 81, of Medford, died Friday (Feb. 23, 2001) at her home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Foster Grandparents Program, 1700 East Barnett Road, Medford, 97504.

She was born Dec. 21, 1919, in Anadarko, Okla., a daughter of Chester and Agnes Williams.

Mrs. Tester moved to the Rogue Valley in February 1971 from San Jose, Calif.

She was an active member of the Foster Grandparents Program for 15 years at the Lincoln Elementary School in Ashland and enjoyed working with children.

Mrs. Tester also was an elementary and high school teacher until she retired.

Survivors include three sons, Guy, Medford, Lew, Talent, and Chet Tester, Ashland; a daughter, Dona Lindenberg, Talent; a brother, Richard Williams, Ventura, Calif.; two sisters, Jo James, Yamhill, Norma Overson, Novato, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

Dorothy E. Gramcko

A memorial service for Dorothy E. Gramcko will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Medford. Pastor William Lehmann will officiate.

Mrs. Gramcko, 81, of Phoenix, died Saturday (Feb. 24, 2001) in Medford.

She was born Dec. 18, 1919, in Calmar, Iowa, a daughter to Adolph and Ida (Moen) Wangsness. On Sept. 4, 1946, in Colorado Springs, Colo., she married Walter H. Gramcko, who died in 1983.

Mrs. Gramcko moved to the Rogue Valley in 1988 from Chatsworth, Calif.

She worked for the U.S. Navy in Long Beach, Calif., during World War II, and as a secretary/stenographer for Lockheed Aircraft in Burbank, Calif.

Mrs. Gramcko enjoyed travel, playing cards, crossword puzzles, and reading.

She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church and the Rogue Valley Medical Center auxiliary.

Survivors include two sons, Mark, Medford, and Kirk Michael, Carlsbad, Calif.; a daughter, Sue Kurruk, Grangeville, Idaho; three sisters, Ruth Pedersen and Irma Virkus, both in Minnesota, and Charlotte Loring, Arizona; a brother, Paul Wangsness, Wisconsin; and five grandchildren.

Mrs. Gramcko was preceded in death by two sons and a sister.

Zona Donovan

A memorial service for Zona Donovan will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Living Water Foursquare Church, 2200 Roberts Road, Medford. The service will be officiated by Pastor Garris Elkins.

Mrs. Donovan, 63, of Ashland, died Saturday (Feb. 24, 2001) at Rogue Valley Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 10, 1938, in Tulare County, Calif., and moved to the Rogue Valley in 1989 from Incline Village, Nev.

Mrs. Donovan was a member of the Living Waters Foursquare Church in Medford and enjoyed yard sales, fishing and crafts.

Survivors include her mother, Hazel Allen, Bakersfield, Calif.; a son, Verl Simpson, Central Point; a daughter, Denise Bryant, Talent; a brother, Delmar Allen, Bakersfield, Calif., and three grandchildren.

Arrangements: Abbey Funeral.

Betty Jean Revels

Betty Jean Revels, 73, of Medford, died Wednesday (Feb. 21, 2001) at her home. A private family service was held.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 698, Medford, OR 97501.

She was born Betty Ziegler Jan. 5, 1928, in Calipatria, Calif. On Jan. 8, 1949, in Redlands, Calif., she married Philip E. Revels. He died in 1992.

Mrs. Revels moved to the Rogue Valley 15 years ago from Redlands, Calif., where she lived for almost 50 years.

She worked for the Bank of America in Redlands, Calif., for 25 years.

She served in the Women’s Army Corps during World War II. Mrs. Revels was also a member of the West Main Church of Christ in Medford.

She enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include a daughter, Brenda A. Davis, Medford; a son, Ronald Wayne Revels, Radcliff, Ky.; three brothers, Marvin Ziegler, New Plymouth, Idaho, James Ziegler, Stevensville, Mont., John Ziegler, Laguna Niguel, Calif.; a sister, Marie Costner, Gerlaw, Ill.; three grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Arrangements: Memory Gardens Mortuary.

Walter "Wade" Harmon

The funeral service for Walter "Wade" Harmon will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Conger-Morris Funeral Directors of Medford. The service will be officiated by Pastor Phillip Welklin of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Medford.

Mr. Harmon, 93, died Wednesday (Feb. 21, 2001) at Providence Medford Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 9, 1907, in Grants Pass, and lived in the Rogue Valley most of his life. On Feb. 23, 1946, in Medford, he married Edna May.

Mr. Harmon was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church of Medford and was baptized in 1968.

He owned a feed store in Phoenix for eight years and worked many years for Medford schools as a custodian until he retired in 1974.

He was a World War II Army veteran and an avid stamp collector.

Survivors include his wife, Edna M. Harmon; a daughter, Phylis E. Reeves, Oakdale, Calif.; five grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley J. Reese; two brothers, Leslie and Cecil.

Arrangements: Conger-Morris Funeral Directors of Medford.

Mary Margaret Stonesifer

A memorial service for Mary Margaret Stonesifer will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church, officiated by the Rev. Anthony Schultz.

Those who wish to pay their respects may visit from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Litwiller-Simonsen Funeral Home in Ashland.

Mrs. Stonesifer, 80, of Phoenix, died Saturday (Feb. 24, 2001) of a heart attack at Rogue Valley Medical Center, Medford.

Memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels, Inc. 110 E. Main St., Ashland, OR 97520, or to Rogue Valley Medical Center Foundation, Coronary Care Unit, 2825 E. Barnett Road, Medford, OR 97504.

She was born July 10, 1920, in Long Beach, Calif., a daughter to Bennie and Ruth (Schwab) Robinson. After high school in California and junior college in Tonkawa, Okla., she joined the U.S. Army in 1942, serving in many locations across the United States.

After achieving the rank of captain, she left the Army in 1946. That same year, she married Carl Stein, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Stonesifer worked as a secretary through the 1970s.

In 1973, she married Dick Stonesifer, who survives. They moved to the Rogue Valley the same year, started a woodworking business and made survey stakes. They later bought into and worked at the Penny Saver paper until 1988.

Mrs. Stonesifer later worked as the receptionist at the Medford Mail Tribune, retiring in 1995.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a daughter, Carol Lange, Seattle; a sister, Ruth Ann Stockesberry, Filer, Idaho; a brother, Don Robison, Salem; and two grandchildren.

Arrangements: Litwiller-Simonsen Funeral Home and Crematory, Ashland.

Marie C. Fluck

The graveside service for Marie C. Fluck will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Following the service, a gathering will be held at 6155 Abbie Lane, Gold Hill. Chaplain John Braund of Rogue Valley Hospice will officiate.

Mrs. Fluck, 80, of Gold Hill, died Friday (Feb. 23, 2001) at Rogue Valley Medical Center.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Parkinson’s Disease Association, 3181 Sam Jackson Park Road, Suite 2200, Portland, OR 97201.

She was born Oct. 5, 1920, in Milford, Pa., a daughter of Joseph and Ruth Chollet. On April 17, 1944, in Long Beach, Calif., she married Kenneth Fluck, who died in 1998. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1946 from Long Beach, after Mr. Fluck was discharged from the U.S. Navy.

Mrs. Fluck was a secretary for Hanby Middle School in Gold Hill, retiring after 19 years.

She enjoyed sewing, cooking and her pets.

Survivors include two daughters, Melinda A. Fluck, Gold Hill, and Robin R. Fluck, Eugene; and a sister, Ethyl Hixson, Oroville, Calif.

Arrangements: Abbey Funeral, Medford.
