Anthony ‘Tony’ LaRosa

The memorial service for Anthony "Tony" LaRosa will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Eagle Point Church of the Nazarene. Pastor Charles Marsolini of Eagle Point Church of the Nazarene and pastor Larry Gatlin of Shady Cove Assembly of God will officiate. The graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Memory Gardens Memorial Park.

Mr. LaRosa, 75, of Shady Cove, died Monday (June 12, 2000) at his home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Eagle Point Church of the Nazarene, c/o Missions Fund, P.O. Box 377, Eagle Point, OR 97524.

He was born March 3, 1925, in San Francisco.

On April 25, 1970, in Sunnyvale, Calif., he married Lillie Arlene Sparks, who survives.

In the Bay area, Mr. LaRosa was a master mechanic for several auto dealerships and owned and operated several auto repair shops.

He enjoyed fishing, auto mechanics and talking.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Anthony "Nino, " Shady Cove; three daughters, Andrea LaRosa, Shady Cove, Antonette Kistler, Roseville, Calif., and Marietta LaRosa, Fair Oaks, Calif.; two brothers, Leo, Eagle Point, and Dan, Royal Oaks, Calif.; a sister, Sarah Mudd, Vaca-ville, Calif.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Friends may pay their respects from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Memory Gardens Mortuary, Medford.

Richard ‘Dick’ Foulon

The memorial service for Richard "Dick" Foulon will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Jacksonville Cemetery. David Croy, retired pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate.

Mr. Foulon, 63, of Olympia, Wash., formerly of the Rogue Valley, died Tuesday (June 13, 2000) in Olympia, Wash.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 1207, Medford, OR 97501.

He was born March 1, 1937, in Klamath Falls. He was a graduate of Medford Senior High School and the University of Oregon in Eugene. In the Rogue Valley, he lived in Gold Hill, Medford and Jacksonville.

On Sept. 7, 1963, he married Martha Wyatt, former Miss Rogue Valley and Miss Oregon. She died in 1995.

Mr. Foulon worked in sales for IBM. He was retired.

He served in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in England, and was on the Air Force tennis team.

Mr. Foulon was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church in Olympia, Wash.

He enjoyed motorcycles and his grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, Adam, Olympia, Wash.; a daughter, Amy Boggs, Lacey, Wash.; a brother, Fred, Bellevue, Wash.; two sisters, Dorris Allen, Gold Hill, and Donna Maloney, Klamath Falls; and four grandchildren.

Arrangements: Forest Funeral Home, Olympia, Wash.

Viola Ruby Hall

Viola Ruby Hall, 85, of Vancouver, Wash., formerly of Medford, died Wednesday (June 14, 2000) in Vancouver. A private service will be held in Vancouver. Private interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Medford.

She was born Viola Anderson on Jan. 23, 1915, in Puyallup, Wash.

On May 8, 1937, she married Glenn Hall, who died in 1998.

Mrs. Hall was a secretary at Rogue Valley Manor, retiring in 1977. She lived in Medford until 1995, when she moved to Vancouver.

She was a member of the Nazarene Church.

Survivors include two sons, Gerald and Richard, both Vancouver; two brothers, Eugene Burns Anderson, Puyallup, and Leslie Harris Anderson, Seattle; three sisters, Doris Evelyn Anderson, Mesa, Ariz., Ruth Lillian Anderson, in Texas, and Margerie Anderson, Portland; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements: Ross-Hollywood Chapel, Wash.

Ruth Josephine Wallace

Ruth Josephine Wallace, 84, of Medford, died Wednesday (June 14, 2000) at her home. No service is planned.

Memorial contributions may be made to Rogue Valley Medical Center Foundation, Hospice, 691 Murphy Road, Suite 236, Medford, OR 97504.

She was born June 29, 1915, in Ogallala, Neb. She moved to the Rogue Valley two years ago from Scotts Valley, Calif.

Survivors include a daughter, Dianne Moore, Central Point; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Arrangements: Rogue Valley Funeral Alternatives.

Margie G. Burk

The memorial service for Margie G. Burk will be at 1 p.m. Monday at First Church of the Nazarene in Medford. Pastor Craig Rench will officiate. Interment will be in Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, Calif.

Mrs. Burk, 87, of Medford, died Wednesday (June 14, 2000) at Hearthstone.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene, Missionary Fund, 1974 E. McAndrews Road, Medford, OR 97504.

She was born May 8, 1913, in Emington, Ill., a daughter of William and Elizabeth Gaston.

She married Marion E. Burk, who died in 1983.

Mrs. Burk was a dental hygienist in Southern California. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1977.

She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

Mrs. Burk enjoyed crocheting, gardening and traveling.

Survivors include two daughters, Betty Thompson, Central Point, and Lois Wileman, Medford; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Edwin; a grandson; a sister; and two brothers.

Arrangements: Memory Gardens Mortuary, Medford.

George L. McCray

George Lawrence McCray, 80, of Medford, died Sunday (June 11, 2000) at his home. A private service is planned.

He was born Dec. 18, 1919, in San Francisco, a son of Lawrence and Florence (Smith) McCray.

On Jan. 19, 1941, in Oakland, Calif., he married Mary Charlotte Ford, who survives.

Mr. McCray worked in telephone communications with GTE Telephone Co. for 38 years.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Fred, Central Point; a daughter, Susan McCray Baker, Phoenix; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Arrangements: Abbey Funeral, Medford.

Raymond D. Osborne

The memorial service for Raymond D. Osborne will be at 11 a.m. today at Trail Community Church.

Mr. Osborne, 59, of Trail, died Sunday (June 11, 2000) in an automobile accident in Trail.

Memorial contributions may be made to Trail Community Church, 399 Old Trail Creek Road, Trail, OR 97541.

He was born May 4, 1941, in Tacoma, Wash., a son of Duane and Laveta Mayhew. The family later moved to California. They returned to Oregon in 1961.

On Nov. 13, 1976, in Trail, he married Izora Hayes, who survives.

Mr. Osborne worked at Medply in White City for 25 years.

He attended the Trail Community Church and was an active Awana Club leader.

Mr. Osborne enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Laveta, Trail; two brothers, Ron Osborne, Portland, and Jim Mayhew, Salem; and two sisters, Peg Gaynor and Sheila Privatsky, both Corvallis.

Arrangements: Abbey Funeral, Medford.
