Bessie A. Geiger
The graveside service for Bessie Annabelle Geiger will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Rest-Haven Memorial Park in Eugene. The Rev. Kevin Gowland, of the Church of the Nazarene in Medford, will officiate. Interment will be in Rest-Haven Memorial Park.
Mrs. Geiger, 89, of Central Point, died Tuesday (Sept. 22, 1998) at Providence Medford Medical Center.
She was born Bessie Annabelle Breshears on Oct. 23, 1908, in Elgin, and lived in the Rogue Valley most of her life.
On Oct. 23, 1935, in Klamath Falls, she married Willford Geiger, who died in 1977.
Mrs. Geiger was an active member of the Church of the Nazarene.
She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, needlework and quilting. She was known for her sense of humor.
Survivors include a son, David Geiger, Keizer; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may pay their respects from 3 to 7:30 p.m. today at Conger-Morris in Medford.
Kenneth A. Hagen
A memorial service for Kenneth A. Hagen will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 at the Lithia Park Bandshell.
Mr. Hagen, 39, of Ashland, died Monday (Sept. 21, 1998) at his home.

He was born April 30, 1959, in Rhinelander, Wis.
He attended the University of Wisconsin, where he received a graduate degree in architecture.
In the mid-80s he moved to Oregon, where he worked as an intern at Afseth & Associates before becoming the recycling coordinator for the Rogue Valley Council of Governments.
Mr. Hagen founded PACT (People Acting can Change Tomorrow), an organization dedicated to increasing communitywide recycling in Southern Oregon.
After moving to Ashland in 1987, he continued working to promote recycling and alternative transportation, serving on several committees and planning groups.
In 1994 he was elected to a City Council seat. He started the Conservation Commission, and served as a council liaison to the Bike Commission.
Survivors include his parents, Ken and Virginia Hagen; two brothers, Tim and John; and two sisters, Margie and Jayne. He was preceded in death by a sister, Susan.

Olen Alonzo Morris
The memorial service for Olen Alonzo Morris will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Applegate Christian Fellowship. Inurnment will be at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 2 in Roseburg National Cemetery.
Mr. Morris, 72, of Jacksonville, died of a heart attack Friday (Sept. 18, 1998) in Alturas, Calif.

He was born Aug. 22, 1926, in Mountain View, Okla.
On Jan. 14, 1984, in Myrtle Creek, he married Carole Ann Madison, who survives.
Mr. Morris was a highway and logging truck driver for R.B. Browns Trucking Inc.
Mr. Morris served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a seaman 2nd class. He received an honorable discharge in 1946.
He enjoyed Bible study and caring for his family.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, Michael, Myrtle Creek, and Lawrence, Reno, Nev.; a daughter, Sandra Morris, Medford; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death in July 1980 by a wife, Isabelle Morris.

Sandra Hansen
Sandra Kay Arant Hansen, 57, of Walnut Creek, Calif., formerly of Medford, died Sept. 3, 1998, in Walnut Creek. Private arrangements have been made.
A descendant of Oregon pioneers, she was born Nancy Kay Arant on Sept. 9, 1941, in Klamath Falls, to A. and Lu Arant.
Mrs. Hansen was a lawyer in Walnut Creek. After graduating from Medford Senior High School in 1959, she attended the University of Oregon, graduating in June 1963. Mrs. Hansen attended John F. Kennedy Law School in Orinda, Calif., and was admitted to the California Bar in 1976. She was also admitted to the Hawaii Bar.
Survivors include her mother, Lu Arant, Medford; a brother Michael, Medford, and a sister, Nancy Arant Cheffings, Eugene.
Peter Anthony Vitale
Peter Anthony Vitale, 66, of Jacksonville, died Tuesday (Sept. 22, 1998) at Rogue Valley Medical Center. Private services were held. Inurnment will be in Eagle Point National Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 10, 1932, in Los Angeles, Calif.
On Oct. 10, 1954, in Norwalk, Calif., he married Glenna Brewster, who survives. They moved to the Rogue Valley in June 1993 from Fullerton, Calif.
Mr. Vitale was a service representative for Southern California Gas Co. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1951 to 1954.
He was a member of the Grants Pass Gun Club and enjoyed trap and skeet shooting.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Kelly, Capistrano Beach, Calif.; a daughter, Vicki Lynn Vitale, Bellmore, N.Y; his mother, Antoinette Manno, Temple City, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Phillip A. Titus
Phillip A. Titus, 75, of Klamath Falls, formerly of Medford, died Sept. 17, 1998, in Klamath Falls. A celebration of life service was held Monday, Sept. 21, in Klamath Falls.

He was born April 20, 1923, in Beatrice, Neb.
On June 28, 1942, in Beatrice, he married Dorothy M. McCown, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Titus enlisted in the Navy during World War II, serving as a gunner's mate on the USS Hopewell in the South Pacific.
He was a painter in Medford for 21 years. Following his retirement in 1978 he moved to Klamath Falls.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, leather working and shooting his black powder gun.
Survivors include three sons, Jim, Michael and Tom, all of Klamath Falls; his mother, Ila Lawlor, Oxnard, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandson. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Titus.

Angela Kathleen Wills
The memorial service for Angela Kathleen Wills will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, 121 Second St., Phoenix. The Rev. John Braund will officiate.
Ms. Wills, 42, of Ashland, died Tuesday (Sept. 22, 1998) at her home.

She was born Angela Kathleen George on Jan. 6, 1956, in Gardena, Calif. She had lived in the Rogue Valley for 10 years.
Ms. Wills was a waitress at several Ashland restaurants. Her first priority and pleasure was being a mother to her son. She enjoyed the arts, painting and pets.
Survivors include her companion, Darin Smith, Ashland; a son, Sean Michael, Ashland; her mother, Molly Carnegie, Talent; and a brother, Michael George, Aloha. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin George, in 1984, and her father, David R. George, in 1978.

Sandra Kay Arant Hansen
Sandra Kay Arant Hansen, 57, of Walnut Creek, Calif., formerly of Medford, died Sept. 3, 1998, in Walnut Creek. Private arrangements have been made.
