Glen William Stockton Jr.
The funeral for Glen William "Billy" Stockton will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Applegate Christian Fellowship. Pastor Jon Courson will officiate.
Dr. Stockton, 48, of Jacksonville, died Thursday (Aug. 20, 1998) in Jacksonville.

He was born Nov. 2, 1949, in Corpus Christi, Texas.
On June 27, 1971, in Montrose, Calif., he married Patricia Stevenson, who survives. They moved to the Rogue Valley six years ago from Phoenix, Ariz.
Dr. Stockton graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Arizona in 1975 and from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in 1978.
He served as lieutenant commander of the San Francisco Public Health Service.
Dr. Stockton had specialized in internal medicine since 1980. He worked at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz., and Josephine Memorial Hospital in Grants Pass.
He enjoyed doing mission work in Honduras, Mexico and South Africa.
Dr. Stockton attended the Applegate Christian Fellowship and was a member of the Grants Pass Rotary.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three sons, David, Newberg, Peter, Willowvale, South Africa, and Jonathan, Taipei, Taiwan; his parents, Glen W. "Bill" and Florence Patricia Stockton, Tucson, Ariz.; and three sisters, Diana Herman, Phoenix, Ariz., Sharman Stockton, Willowvale, and Karen Fritz, Tucson.

Dorris Scroggin
The memorial service for Dorris Scroggin will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Siskiyou Chapel, Medford.
Mrs. Scroggin, 87, of Medford, died Friday (Aug. 21, 1998), while attending a family reunion in Lake Tahoe, Calif.
Memorial contributions may be made to Rogue Valley Medical Center Foundation, 2825 E. Barnett Road, Medford, OR 97504.
She was born Dorris French on May 4, 1911, in Alturas, Calif.
She attended the University of California, Berkeley.
Mrs. Scroggin was very active in her parents' newspaper, the Alturas Plaindealer, until World War II.
On May 12, 1946, she married Howard Scroggin, who died in 1987. They lived in Klamath Falls until moving to Medford in 1956.
Mrs. Scroggin retired from Rogue Valley Memorial Hospital in 1979.
She enjoyed golf and was an active member of Rogue Valley Country Club for many years.
Survivors include a son, Terry, Klamath Falls; a sister, Ruth Zimmerman, Sacramento, Calif.; and three grandchildren. A brother, Harry French, preceded her in death.

Charles E. McCann
The funeral liturgy for Charles E. McCann will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Shady Cove. The Rev. William McHugh will officiate. Interment will be in Trail Cemetery.
Rosary will be recited at 7 tonight at the church.
Mr. McCann, 87, of Shady Cove, died Friday (Aug. 21, 1998) at his home.

He was born Sept. 17, 1910, in Springfield, Ill.
Mr. McCann grew up in Springfield, Ill., and Craig, Colo. As a youth he worked in the Midwest in farming and harvesting crops.
On May 9, 1944, in Central Point, he married Ethel M. Herbert, who survives.
After moving to the Prospect area in 1931 from Craig, he worked at the George Jantzer Lumber Co. for several years, then for Trail Creek Lumber Co. for 16 years. He then worked a few years at Boise Cascade until his retirement.
Mr. McCann enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a stepdaughter, Mildred McWhorter, Trail; a stepson, W.J. Wayman, Central Point; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

Muriel Francis
A private service will be held for Muriel Eva Violet Francis. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Medford.
Mrs. Francis, 83, of Medford, died Saturday (Aug. 23, 1998) at Hearthstone Care Facility in Medford.
Mrs. Francis was born Sept. 19, 1914, in Canada. She was the last living sibling among 13 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include a son, Keith Andrew Francis of Watertown, Tenn.; a daughter, Nancy Aquilina of Detroit, Mich.; a brother-in-law, Arthur Martin of Medford; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Arrangements: Hillcrest Mortuary of Medford.
Donald W. Foote
A private service will be held for Donald William Foote. Entombment will be at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Foote, 85, of Medford, died Friday (Aug. 21, 1998) at his home.

Mr. Foote was born Nov. 13, 1912, in Devils Lake, N.D. On July 22, 1949, in Klamath Falls, he married Helen Entriken, who survives. Mr. Foote first lived in Medford from 1942 to 1949. He returned in 1975.
Mr. Foote crafted a career in the retail grocery business, working in South Dakota and North Dakota before coming to Oregon. On a visit to Medford in 1942, he met Arnold Kampfers, then owner of the Big Y market, and started work the next morning. He also worked in Albany and in Sacramento, Calif.
Mr. Foote was active in the Elks Lodge, the Masonic orders and was a life member of the Hillah Temple Shrine. He was a former member of the Albany City Council and was president-elect of the Albany Rotary Club.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a brother, Harold Foote of Madison, Wis.; four nephews and a niece. He was preceded in death by a son, William Foote; a daughter, Meredith Martin; and a brother, Gerald Foote.

Shelley Utzig-Wiens
The memorial service for Shelley Ann Utzig-Wiens will be held at 6 p.m. today at McGregor Park in Trail, directly below the Lost Creek Dam.
Ms. Utzig-Wiens, 44, of Trail, died Friday (Aug. 21, 1998) at her home.

She was born Shelley Ann Wiens on Sept. 19, 1953, in Pomona, Calif. Ms. Utzig-Wiens was a veterinary technician for Mountain View Animal Clinic in Eagle Point. She enjoyed horseback riding and working with and taking care of animals.
Survivors include a companion, Bob Leeper of Trail; a son, Kody Wiens-Leeper of Trail; a brother, Mark Wiens of Oakley, Calif.; and stepmother Jane Wiens of Scotts Valley, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Patty Wiens.

Steven R. Kenyon
Steven R. Kenyon, 11, of Medford, died Wednesday (Aug. 19, 1998) at Legacy Emanuel Hospital in Portland as a result of oxygen deprivation suffered during a fire Tuesday at his home in Medford.
A memorial service is planned at a date to be announced.
He was born Feb. 1, 1987, in Medford, a son of Lola Kenyon, Medford, and Timothy Kenyon, Wichita Falls, Texas. He attended Oak Grove Elementary School in Medford.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, are his grandmothers, Susan Ridge, Medford, and Waynette Kenyon, Bonham, Texas. A brother Timothy Kenyon, 8, remains in serious condition at Legacy Emmanuel in Portland.
A sister, Melissa Kenyon, 13, also died at the hospital Wednesday.
Arrangements: Telophase Cremation Society, Portland.

She was born Aug. 7, 1985, in Billings, Mont., a daughter of Lola Kenyon, Medford, and Timothy Kenyon, Wichita Falls, Texas.
Melissa enjoyed bicycling, camping and baking cakes and cookies with her mother. She was fond of collecting stuffed animals, reading paperback books and modeling clothes.
She was a student at Washington Elementary School in Medford.
Survivors, in addition to her parents, are her grandmothers, Susan Ridge, Medford, and Waynette Kenyon, Bonham, Texas. A brother Timothy Kenyon, 8, remains in serious condition at Legacy Emmanuel in Portland.
Another brother, Steven Kenyon, 11, died at the hospital Wednesday.
