PRISCILLA JOAN INGLEFIELD-MAILE

Priscilla Joan Inglefield-Maile, 59, of Abington, formerly of Pleasant Hills, on Saturday, April 15, 2000. Wife of Roderick J. Maile. mother of Tara Lee Lewis of Winooski, Vt. Grandmother of Elias Renny Lewis and Ian Xavier Lewis. Sister of Charles Lee Inglefield III and his wife, Sheryl D. Inglefield of Bluffton, S.C. aunt of Pamela J. Inglefield, Christine A. Fogt and Charles Lee Inglefield IV. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Lee Inglefield Jr. and Margaret Jane Jones Inglefield. Priscilla was a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and was a vice-president of operations for an insurance company. Friends called Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and may call Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME INC., 1032 Perry Highway, Perrysville, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment Highwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be offered to the American Cancer Society, 241 Fourth Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15222.

MARY LOBODY INGRAHAM

Mary Lobody Ingraham, 94, of Peoria, Ariz., formerly of Jeannette, died Tuesday, April 11, 2000, in Peoria. Prior to retirement, she was employed as a school teacher in the Jeannette, North Huntingdon and Norwin school districts, and was a full professor of mathematics at the Allegheny Community College, Boyce Campus. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Advent, Jeannette, and a member for many years of the library board of the Jeannette Public Library. She is survived by the following children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren: George and Tacy Ingraham of Peoria, Ariz., and Jon Ingraham of Las Vegas, Nev., Natalie and Bob Youngstead of Loudon, Tenn., Brenda Tourelle of Memphis, Tenn., Kenneth and Michelle and Mary Beth Youngstead of Nashville, Tenn., Chris and Gary Sinclair, Brandie Gulla and Rachel Sinclair of Westmoreland City. Funeral services and interment will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., Jeannette, in charge of arrangements.

JOHN P. JOYCE

John P. Joyce, on Sunday, April 16, 2000. Beloved husband of Eileen Maloney Joyce. Father of Kevin, Timothy and John Joyce, Ellen O'Donovan and Patricia Birch. Brother of the late Michael and Regis Joyce and Mary McKnight. Also survived by 10 grandchildren. Friends were received at JOHN A. FREYVOGEL SONS INC., 4900 Centre Ave. at Devonshire Street, Monday and will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Paul's Cathedral at 10 a.m. Mr. Joyce retired in 1992 after serving for 20 years as the elected prothonotary for Allegheny County.

EDWARD J. METELKO

Edward J. Metelko, 87, of Penn, died Saturday, April 15, 2000, in Mt. Carmel Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. He was born Oct. 28, 1912, in Arona, a son of the late John and Mary Rozantz Metelko. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the former McKee Glass and the Stone Oil Co., both in Jeannette. He was a member of St. Boniface Church, Penn, and its Silver Threads; a life member and past treasurer of B.P.O.E. #486, Jeannette; a member of Knights of Columbus Council #1222, Jeannette; and a 4th Degree member of St. Vincent Assembly #918; a founding member of Penn Rod and Gun Club; and a member of the K. of C. shuffleboard league. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Maxwell Metelko in 1986; two brothers , Stanley and John Metelko; and two sisters , Emma Collins and Mildred Falk. Surviving are a son, Col. James E. Metelko, Retired, and wife, Patricia, of Elmira, N.Y., six grandchildren, David Metelko and wife, Dana, Michael Metelko and wife, Patty, Suzanne Metelko-Carman and husband, Curtis, Patty VanWert and husband, Tom, Paige Mullaney and Michael Mullaney; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. in the JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 228 N. Second St., Jeannette. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at noon in St. Boniface Church. Interment will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery, Hempfield Township. The Elks will hold services Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. and the K. of C. will hold services Tuesday at 7:45 p.m., both in the funeral home.

WILLIAM J. NOPPE

William J. Noppe, 77, of Greensburg, died Sunday, April 16, 2000, in the Integrated Health Services of Greater Pittsburgh, Greensburg. He was born Aug. 16, 1922, in Jackson, Mich., a son of the late Victor and Helen Dereadt Noppe. Prior to retirement, he had been employed by the Brown-Boveri Co. of South Greensburg. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg, the American Legion Post 981 of South Greensburg, and the Touchdown Club of Latrobe. He was also a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers , Henry and John Noppe. He is survived by his wife, Dora Jean Maltby Noppe; two sons , Michael W. and his wife, Rosemarie Noppe, and Patrick L. and his wife, Janet Noppe, all of Greensburg; two daughters , Carol J. Noppe of Greensburg and Mrs. Cathy Johnson of New Alexandria; and six grandchildren, Angela Noppe, Matt Johnson, Manden Noppe, Marissa Noppe, Adrienne Noppe and Bill Noppe. There will be no public visitation. A private family blessing service will be held in the BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton at Green streets, Greensburg. Private entombment with military honors provided by the American Legion Post 981 Honor Guard will follow in the St. Clair Mausoleum, Hempfield Township. The family suggests memorial contributions to Our Lady of Grace Building Fund, 1001 Mt. Pleasant Road, Greensburg, PA 15601.

MARY JANE PODKUL

Mary Jane Podkul, 78, of Penn Township, died Saturday, April 15, 2000, in Jeannette District Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 24, 1921, in Wall, the daughter of the late Mike and Susan Gudak Kurey. Prior to retirement, she was employed as a clerk for the Elliott Co., Jeannette. She was a member of St. Barbara Church, Harrison City. She is survived by a son, Gary and wife, Linda Podkul, of Irwin; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends were received at the JAMES E. LINDSAY FUNERAL HOME INC., Main Street, Harrison City, Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Barbara Church with the Rev. V. Paul Fitzmaurice as celebrant. Entombment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Township. A vigil service will be held Monday at 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

RONALD ROMANISHIN

Ronald Romanishin, 45, of Level Green, died Saturday, April 15, 2000. Beloved son of William "Bill" and Katherine "Kathy" (Beltram) Romanishin. Brother of Paula, William "Bill" Jr. and Richard "Rick" Romanishin. uncle of John and Robert Romanishin. Also numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. There will be no visitation. Family and friends are welcome to attend a committal service at the chapel of Good Shepherd Cemetery, Monroeville, Wednesday at noon. JOSEPHINE ROSSI

Josephine Rossi, 91, of Jeannette, died Saturday, April 15, 2000, in her home. She was born Sept. 3, 1908, in Santa Barbara, Italy, a daughter of the late Joseph and Veronica Piombino Rossi. She was a member of Ascension Church, Jeannette. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gaetano "Guy" Rossi, in 1979; a daughter, Mary Rossi; a sister, Martha Ferraiuolo; and several brothers and sisters in Italy. Surviving are a son, Francis "Frank" Rossi and wife, Martha "Penny" of Jeannette; a daughter, Veronica Rossi at home; two grandchildren, Gaetano "Guy" Rossi and wife, Sheila, and Josephine "Josie" Rossi; and several nieces and nephews. Friends were received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 228 N. Second St., Jeannette. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in Ascension Church. Entombment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park Mausoleum, Delmont.

THOMAS J. TAHON SR.

Thomas J. Tahon Sr. , 58, of Indiana Township, suddenly Saturday, April 15, 2000. Mr. Tahon was a retired machinist for Goss Inc. He was the beloved husband of Karen (Reese) Tahon; Father of Jennifer Tahon of Shaler Township, Aimee Tahon of Etna, Julie Tahon of Brookline, Benjamin (Lynda) Tahon of Mars and Thomas Tahon Jr. of Hampton Township; brother of Sarah (Sam) Roberts of Coraopolis, Eugene (Joyce) Tahon of Hollidaysburg, and Charles (Dorothy) Tahon of West Deer; brother-in-law of Shirley Tahon; son-in-law of Kitty Reese. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Sr. and Emily Tahon; and a brother, Alfred Jr. Friends received at the FRANK R. PERMAN FUNERAL HOME INC., 923 Saxonburg Blvd. at Route 8, Shaler Township, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Glenshaw, Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment at Assumption Cemetery, Hampton Township. JOHN E. THOMAS JR.

John E. Thomas Jr., 74, of Greensburg, died Sunday, April 16, 2000, in the Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. He was born Oct. 9, 1925, in Greensburg, a son of the late John Sr. and Beatrice Kuhns Thomas. Prior to retirement, he had been employed by the Brown-Boveri Co. of South Greensburg, and was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Keith Thomas, in 1995. He is survived by his wife, Roberta G. Wightman Thomas; a daughter, Deborah and her husband, William McClintock, of Greensburg; three grandsons, William McClintock II, Kenneth McClintock and Robert McClintock, all of Greensburg; a brother, Kenneth and his wife, Mary Thomas, of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews. Friends were received at the BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton at Green streets, Greensburg, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and will be received Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Byron T. Eisaman officiating. Interment with military honors provided by the VFW Post 33 Honor Guard will follow in the Hillview Cemetery, Hempfield Township.

STEVE T. BECKI

Steve T. Becki, 93, formerly of Spring Hill, on Tuesday, April 18, 2000. Husband of the late Anna J. (Knauss) Becki. Beloved Father of Arlene (David) Mastro of Library and Carol Mammay of Cranberry. Grandfather of Paul Mammay Jr., Mark and Michael Mammay, Dana Palmieri and David J. Mastro. Also survived by 11 grandchildren. Friends received Wednesday 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at STEPHENS MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 600 Cedar Ave., North Side, where a blessing service will be held Friday 10 a.m. Mr. Becki was a molder for 60 years, a member of the choir at St. Ambrose and St. Nicholas Church, CFU Lodge #29, KSKJ #81, Javor Hall and Javor Singing Society. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery (Mt. Troy).

KATHRYN MEDVED BRITZ

Kathryn "Kay" Medved Britz, 81, of White Valley, died Monday, April 17, 2000. She was born Sept. 28, 1918, in Export, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Johanna Stegne Medved. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward M. Britz; two brothers , Nicholas and Frank Medved; a sister, Mary Riddle; and a grandson, Carl Britz. Mrs. Britz was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church, Delmont. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Louis (Delores) Yadrick of White Valley; two sons , Edwin J. and wife, Carol, of Delmont and Carl D. of Export; and two sisters , Anna Larese and Barbara Kopelcheck. Also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the EDWIN N. WOLFE FUNERAL HOME INC., Export, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Frederick C. Heitzenroder officiating. Interment in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.

IRMA JEAN BROWN

Irma Jean Brown, 86, of Mt. Pleasant, died Tuesday, April 18, 2000. She was born Nov. 3, 1913, in East Huntingdon Township, a daughter of the late James Leasure Brown and Marie Louise Leighty Brown. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Mt. Pleasant. She was a graduate of the East Huntingdon High School and was an employee of the former W.T. Grant Co., Mt. Pleasant. Irma Jean lived a courageous life following an auto accident 50 years ago that left her a paraplegic. She is survived by her special friend, James Mottle of Tarrs; and three sisters , Doris Lentz of Mt. Pleasant, Mae Gunter of Greensburg and Betty Weaver of Scottdale. Also survived by nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers , Donald Brown and James Brown; and a sister, Ferne Moore. Friends will be received in the EUGENE G. SALOOM FUNERAL HOME INC., Main Street, Mt. Pleasant, Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Her funeral service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in the First United Church of Christ, Main Street, Mt. Pleasant, with the Rev. John R. Bucher officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Cemetery, East Huntingdon Township.
