Jose Enejosa Sr.
ABBEVILLE — Jose E. Enejosa Sr., 93, of 1069 Highway 20, widower of Ligaya Santayana Enejosa, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2002, at Abbeville County Memorial Hospital.
Born in the Philippines, he was a son of the late Irineo and Perfecta Encina Enejosa. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a retired teacher.
Survivors include a daughter, Dr. Heidi Rodillo of Abbeville; a son, Jose S. Enejosa Jr. of the Philippines; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
A Mass of Christian Burial is at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, conducted by Father Dock Tran OSF. Burial is in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers are Dr. Don Dumlao, Dr. Todd Gonzalez, Dr. Eugene Rodillo, Dr. Jeffrey V. Enejosa, Eugene Rodillo Jr. and Eric Reformado.
The wake is from 7-9 tonight at Harris Funeral Home.
The family is at the home.

ABBEVILLE — Services for Ola Mae Harris Hill, of 308 Campfield Church Road, will be at 2 Wednesday at Campfield Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. J.E. Williams. The body will be placed in the church at 1. Burial is in the church cemetery.
The family is at the home of a son, John Hill, 312 Campfield Church Road.

GREENWOOD — Graveside services for L.T. Spearman, of 705 Clem Road, are at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Emanuel Spearman.
Visitation is from 7-8 tonight at Percival-Tompkins Funeral Service.

William A. Uldrick
EASLEY — Mr. William Andrew Uldrick, 76, of 107 Terrace Road, husband of Martha Standridge Uldrick, died Sunday, February 24, 2002 at St. Francis Hospital.
Mr. Uldrick was born in Laurens County, son of the late Preston and Nelle Sanders Uldrick. He was a retired accountant for Warner-Lambert and was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Uldrick was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Surviving are one daughter, Lynne Parker and her husband, Michael of Easley; one sister, Mary Stone of Due West; one brother, Richard Uldrick of Anderson; one granddaughter, Aimee Underwood and her husband, Marty.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 PM Wednesday at West Side Baptist Church in Greenwood by Rev. Hal Lane and Dr. David Gallamore. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 PM on Tuesday evening at Dillard Memorial Custom Funerals and also from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM at West Side Baptist Church prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to the building fund of West Side Baptist Church, P.O. Box 216, Greenwood, SC 29648 or to the building fund of Rock Springs Baptist Church, 212 Dayton School Road, Easley, SC 29642.

Robert M. 'Roebuck' Winn
ABBEVILLE - Robert M. "Roebuck" Winn, age 66, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2002 at the Lakes at Litchfield in Pawleys Island, SC.
Mr. Winn was born in Abbeville, SC, a son of the late Claude Adolphus Sr. and Amy Uldrick Winn. He was a member and Elder of the Upper Long Cane Presbyterian Church and Sunday School Superintendent. Mr. Winn retired as Central Office Supervisor with West Carolina Rural Telephone Coop, and retired as Assistant Chief with the Abbeville City Volunteer Fire Dept. He was a member and secretary of the W.O.W. of Abbeville.
He was also predeceased by a son, Robert S. "Bob" Winn and a brother Claude A. "Dolph" Winn, Jr.
Surviving are: a daughter, Rhonda W. Singleton of Conway and her husband, Gene; two brothers, Thomas J. Winn and Jerry Winn, both of Abbeville, SC; four sisters, Sarah Newton, Younges Island, SC; Cornelia Winn, Abbeville, SC; Lorraine Edwards, Greenwood, SC; Jean Bowden, Parsonsburg, MD; two grandsons, Joseph Duncan singleton and Robert Winn Singleton, both of Conway, SC.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2002 at 11:00 AM from the Upper Long Cane Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Howard W. Whitehurst officiating. The burial will follow in Long Cane Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 til 8:00 PM Tuesday evening at the Upper Long Cane Presbyterian Church. The family is at the home, 507 East Greenwood St., Abbeville, SC.

Carl Arnold
TROY - James Carl Arnold, 68, resident of 105 Dorn Road, husband of Cherry Breeden Arnold, died February 25, 2002 at the Richard M. Campbell Veteran's Nursing Home in Anderson.
Born in Isabella, GA, June 10, 1933, he was a son of the late James Marvin and Sarah Estelle Bozeman Arnold. He was a graduate of Dawson High School, Dawson, GA and a 1961 graduate of the University of Georgia where he received his Master's Degree in Forestry. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War where he served in the Paratroopers and was recipient of the Purple Heart.
Mr. Arnold retired as Assistant Forest Ranger from the US Forest Service, Greenwood office. He was an avid gardener and was very active with his grandchildren.
A member of Callie Self Memorial Baptist Church and the Samaritans Sunday School Class, he was also a life Deacon and a former choir member.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are three daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa Childress-Arnold and Randy Childress of Columbia, Bonnie and Dean Harrington of Clemmons, NC and Carla and Keith Cozart of Abbeville; sons and daughter-in-law, Cliff and Ellen Arnold of Bradley and Mike Arnold of the home; two brothers, David Arnold of Leesburg, GA and Randall Arnold of Watkinsville, GA; two sisters, Eve Nolan of Palmetto, GA and Carold Bois of Fairburn, GA; seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2PM Thursday from Callie Self Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Leland Scott and Rev. Bob Burriss officiating.
Burial will be in Oakbrook Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Luther Nolan, Larry Breeden, Neal EuBanks, Dean Harrington, Randy Childress and Keith Cozart.
The body is at Blyth Funeral Home and will be placed in the church 1PM Thursday.
The family is at the home on Dorn Road and will receive friends at the funeral home 6:30 to 8 Wednesday evening.

Mary Graham
ABBEVILLE — Mary Martin Graham, 87, of 497 New Road, widow of Frank B. Graham, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2002, at Abbeville County Memorial Hospital.
Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late John A. and Lilly Cox Martin. She was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church and retired from the textile industry.
Survivors include two sons, Frank J. Graham and Mike Graham, three daughters, Juanita G. Parnell, Janalene G. Burriss and Barbara G. Allen, and two sisters, Edna Heslin and Frances McNamara, all of Abbeville; 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Services are at 4 Thursday at Sharon United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Todd Davis and the Rev. Randall Parnell. The body will be placed in the church at 3. Burial is in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers are Dale Allen, Allen Martin, Darrell Parnell, Greg Beauford, Jimmy Graham, Andy Bell, Dan Henderson and Dean Hayden.
Visitation is from 7-9 tonight at Harris Funeral Home.
The family is at the home of Jan and Jimmy Burriss, 515 New Road.

H. Hugh Burton
EDGEFIELD — H. Hugh Burton, 71, of Burton Drive, husband of Susan Mayson Burton, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2002, at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood.
A native of Edgefield County, he was a member of GilGal Baptist Church, where he was a Sunday School treasurer and deacon. He was the parts manager of Dickey Chevrolet in Greenwood for 29 years, and was retired from Tranter Inc., of Edgefield.
Survivors include his wife of the home; two sons, Rick Burton and Pat Burton, both of Edgefield; a daughter, Lynda B. Richard of Greenwood; and three grandchildren.
Services are at 11 a.m. Friday, at GilGal Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Lowell Clark. Burial is in the church cemetery.
Visitation is tonight from 6-8 at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home. The family is at the home.

Syble V. Campbell
GREENWOOD - Syble Vickery Campbell, 69, of 102 Cherry Court, Beechwood Subdivision, wife of William Campbell, Jr., died Wednesday, February 27, 2002 at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in Lavonia, GA, she was a daughter of the late William and Ollie McKee Vickery. She was retired from Neptune Measurement Company and was the former owner of Parkland Place Grocery. She was a member of Parkland Baptist Church.
Surviving is her husband of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Joanne Campbell of Greenwood; a daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Gerald Jennings of Ware Shoals; three sisters, Julie Hailey of Lavonia, GA, Kathleen Thomas of Greenwood and Jodine Moore of Belton; three brothers, Ralph Vickery of Anderson, Asa Vickery of Abbeville and Rudolph Vickery of Athens, GA; grandchildren, Toni C. and Kevin Dickey, Alyson Campbell, Will Campbell and Meg Jennings; and great grandchildren, Blake Dickey, Brianna Dickey and Neil Bixler.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Lethco and the Rev. Chris Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Keith Richardson, Bobby Butler Sr., Bobby Butler Jr., Brad Hughes, Jerry Knight, Will Campbell, Burl Davis, Tyler Helton and Robbie Price.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. The family is at the home.

Nola Ann Crump
ANDERSON — Nola Ann Crump, 90, of 404 Hill St., wife of R.N. Crump, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Towns County, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Henry Newton and Lissie A. Noblet. She was a retired textile employee and an Avon representative. She was a charter member of High Praises Church of God and the McDuffie Street Church of God.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, William Dean Shook of Mauldin and Jerry Crump of Great Falls; three daughters, Betty Jo Bagwell of Inman, Gaynelle McCloud of Travelers Rest and Jeanette Clamp of Belton; a brother, Melvin Noblet of Gainesville, Ga.; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Services are 12:30 p.m. Friday at McDougald Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Chris Sustar. Burial is in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitation is from 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.
The family is at the Quality Inn Conference Room.

GREENWOOD — Vera Fleming Balchin, 86, of 301 Draper St., widow of James E. Balchin, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002, at Self Regional Medical Center.
Services will be announced by Harley Funeral Home.

Roy Crowe
GREENWOOD - Roy Carlton Crowe, 75, resident of 111 Sanders Street, died February 26, 2002 at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in New York.
Born in Greenwood, November 10, 1926, he was a son of the late Rossie Carlton and Mary Nelson Crowe. He was a 1949 graduate of Furman University and was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Crowe was a professional singer having sung with the Furman Singers of Furman University, the Fred Waring Glee Club in New York and aboard international cruise ships traveling to Europe.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Greenwood and the Marble Collegiate Church in New York City, NY.
Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Ray Nelson Crowe and Margie Crowe of Myrtle Beach; two nephews and their spouses, Rocke and Lanett Crowe of Charlotte, NC and Roger and Kathy Ann Crowe of Liberty, SC; one great-nephew, Wylie Crowe of Liberty, SC; one aunt, Mrs. Elizabeth Faulkner of Greenwood.
Mr. Crowe was predeceased by a brother, Jack Crowe of Greenwood.
Funeral services will be conducted 2PM Saturday at First Baptist Church with Dr. J. William Harris officiating.
Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery.
The body is at Blyth Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 Saturday afternoon in the Church Parlor of First Baptist Church.

Lillie T. Searles
McCORMICK — Lillie Tutt Searles, 83, wife of Lonnie Searles, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002, at The McCormick County Health Care Center.
Born in Lincolnton, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Ethel Tutt Beard. She was a homemaker, and a member of Pine Grove A.M.E. Church in Plum Branch.
Survivors include her husband of the home; a son, Lonnel Searles of McCormick; two daughters, Ethel Singletary of Greenwood and Hattie Dell Bolton of Lincolnton, Ga.; three sisters, Idell B. Johnson of Rye, N.Y., Doris Blackwell of Lincolnton, Ga., and Willie Mae Foster of Elberton, Ga.; four brothers, Clarence Albea of Augusta, Ruben Murray, Jessie Lee Beard and Fred Barnes, all of Lincolnton; 15 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
The family is at the home at 601 Fifth Avenue in McCormick.
Services will be announced by Walker Funeral Home.

Charles W. Singleton
CONWAY — Charles Wesley Singleton, 80, of Cox Ferry Road, widower of Auvoline Dunn Singleton, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2002, at Conway Hospital.
Born in Conway, he was a son of the late Joe Dusenbury and Versia Duncan Singleton. He was a member of Hebron United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge 65 AFM, and was a WWII Army veteran, serving in Northern Africa and Italy. He was a retired superintendent from Dargan Construction Company.
Survivors include two sons, Danny K. Singleton of Greenwood, and Gene Singleton of Conway; five brothers, Alvin Singleton, Lewis Singleton, Winston Singleton, and Dwayne Singleton, all of Conway, and James Singleton of Irmo; four sisters, Laura Belle Hardee of Conway, Elda Rackley of Myrtle Beach, Bettie Bennett of Galveston, Texas , and Nina Rea Holmes of Portsmouth, Va.; three grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
Services are at 2 Saturday at Hebron United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Sarah Branyon. Burial with military and Masonic rites will be at the church cemetery.
Visitation is from 6-8 tonight at Goldfinch Funeral Home.
