Wedding music was presented by pianist Joie Kay and organist Dana Boggs, both of Honea Path, and handbellists Ross Malcolm and Richard Malcolm, both of Woodside, Calif.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Craft of Belton. She is a graduate of Belton-Honea Path High School, Lander University and the Medical University of South Carolina.
She is employed as an occupational therapist at NHC HealthCare of Greenwood.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kirk N. Sharpe of Belton. He is a graduate of Belton-Honea Path High School and is employed by Century Contractors.
Jana Deann Craft of Belton was maid of honor.
Erin Sharpe Saylers of Belton was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Julie Kay Bell of Belton, Monica Snipes Berry of Dillon, Jana Johnston Davis of Honea Path and Karen Elizabeth Kinard of Atlanta, Ga., Amy Fredda Locke of Anderson and Meleah Bell Thomas of Rock Hill.
Katie Renee Saylers of Belton was flower girl.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a white satin spaghetti strap dress accented with beads.
Attendants wore grape mock two-piece spaghetti strap dresses adorned with teal and silver sequins.
They carried round bouquets of lavender roses. She wore a veil adorned with pearls.
She carried a round bouquet of creamy white open roses.
The bridegroom’s father was best man.
Groomsmen were William David Clinkscales III of Columbia, Todd DeWitt Evatt, Brently Wade Parnell and Richard Keith Saylers, all of Belton, Mark Shane Poore and Phillip Kevin Poore, both of Honea Path, and Joshua Trenton Patterson of Williamston.
The couple took a wedding cruise to the Caribbean.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leman Edward Greene Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. James Morrow Hemminger Jr., all of Abbeville. She is a 1999 graduate of the University of South Carolina Honors College, where she received a bachelor’s degree in English and a 2003 graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she received her juris doctorate. She will join Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A., as an associate in September.
The bridegroom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Irwin Sommer III of Wake Forest, N.C. He is the grandson of John Joseph Maternowski of South Bend, Ind., and the late Mrs. Maternowski and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Irvin Sommer Jr. He is a 2000 graduate of DePauw University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a 2003 graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Law, where he received his juris doctorate. He will join Nelson, Mullins, Riley & Scarborough as an associate in September.
The wedding is planned for 7 p.m. Aug. 9, 2003 at First Presbyterian Church in Greenwood.

Wedding music was presented by trumpeter Jimmy Carr of Greenwood.
The bride is the daughter of Tina P. Blackmon of Greenwood and Jackie A. Blackmon of Monks Corner. She is a graduate of Ninety Six High School and is attending Piedmont Tech. She is employed by McDonald Patrick Tinsley Baggett & Poston LLP.
The bridegroom is the son of Cindy B. Stockman of Ninety Six and J. Michael Isbell of Ninety Six. He is a graduate of Ninety Six High School and is employed by Eaton Hydraulics.
Laurie L. Chafin of Ninety Six was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Leigh B. Calhoun, Brandi B. Gilbert and Courtney L. Harris, all of Greenwood, and Haven E. Paysinger of Laurens.
Honorary bridesmaids were Heather Boyter, Andrea L. Newell and Candice B. Smith.
H. Annee Poss of Greenwood was miniature bride.
Flower girls were Paten Calhoun, Kennedy Gilbert and Taylor Gilbert, all of Greenwood.
The bride wore a white wedding gown featuring an off-the-shoulder, scoop neckline encrusted with pearls and crystal beads. The A-line dress featured a basque waist and organza skirt decorated with embroidery and satin banding at the hem, which cascaded into a chapel length train.
She wore a round tiara of rhinestones attached to an elbow length, double-tiered veil edged in white satin.
She carried an exposed-stem cluster bouquet of white calla lilies, daylilies and roses, accented with spider mums, lilac and German statice in lavender with a white satin ribbon edged in pearls.
D. Wayne Isbell of Ninety Six was best man.
Groomsmen were Steven E. Isbell, Jody L. Patterson and Christopher L. Cockrell, all of Greenwood, and Leonard P. Horne of Greenville.
P. Gage Poss of Greenwood was miniature groom.
Chandler Patterson of Ninety Six was ringbearer.
A reception was given by the bride’s family at Stoney Point Clubhouse.
After a wedding trip to the Cayman Islands, the couple will live in Ninety Six.

The bride is the daughter of Ronald Cowan and Vera Cowan, both of Jacksonville, N.C. She is a 1997 graduate of North Myrtle Beach High School, and a 2001 graduate of the University of South Carolina, where she received a degree in criminal justice. She is employed by the Greenwood Police Department.
The bridegroom is the son of Thomas Pendley and Peggy Pendley, both of Greenwood. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Furman Taylor and Mrs. W.S. Pendley, all of Abbeville and the late Mr. Pendley. He is a 1996 graduate of Greenwood High School and a 1998 graduate of Piedmont Tech, where he received a degree in building construction.
Tirra Cowan of Winston Salem, N.C., was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Tara Badger, Delora Henderson and Nikki Herrod, all of Greenwood, and Emily Clelland of Columbia, and Lindsay Wilson of Abbeville.
Frances Jorgenson of Pawley’s Island was flower girl.
The bride wore a white gown featuring an empire waist accented with seed pearls, crystal beads and sequins. The chiffon overlay A-line skirt and bodice was enhanced down the back by seed pearls and crystal bead-covered buttons, and flowed into a chapel length train.
She wore a tiara adorned with crystals and pearls attached to an elbow length veil of tulle.
She carried a clutch bouquet of white tulips.
Thomas Pendley of Greenwood was best man.
Groomsmen were Derek Pendley, Kevin Pendley and Stephen Petrus of Greenwood, Dale Wilson and Brandon Wilson, both of Abbeville.
Ushers were Brian Burkes of Greenwood, Al Castiglioni of West Columbia and William Gravley of Atlanta.
Wallace Jorgenson of Pawley’s Island was ringbearer.
Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Cowan of Jacksonville were hosts of a reception.
The couple plans a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean.

The bride-elect is also the daughter of Thomas Landrum Miller Jr. of Canton, Miss. She is the granddaughter of Kathryn B. Sheppard of McCormick and the late Leonard E. Brown Sr., and Sara B. Miller of Edgefield and the late Thomas L. Miller Sr. She is a 1999 graduate of Long Cane Academy and a 2003 graduate of Lander University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.
The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Donald W. Ray of Abbeville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edwin B. Crawford. He is a 1996 graduate of Abbeville High School and is attending Lander University, where he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in history with teacher certification. He is employed by Pascal’s Café and Grill in Greenwood as assistant chef.
The wedding is planned for 4 p.m. July 12, 2003 at McCormick United Methodist Church.

The bride is the daughter of Elaine Childs and Earnest Childs, both of Greenwood. She is a graduate of Greenwood High School and Piedmont Tech. She is employed by Westside Nursing Center.
The bridegroom-elect is the son of Lucille McEntyre of Spartanburg and James McEntyre of North Carolina. He is a graduate of the Christian Academy and is employed by Faurecia.
Darlene Terry of Greenwood was maid of honor.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Mitchell Cameron of Columbia. She is the granddaughter of Ella McCreight Cooke of Columbia and the late James Alexander Cooke. She is a graduate of the College of Charleston and was employed by W.K. Dickson & Co. Inc., as an airport planner in Columbia.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Woodrow Wilson of Greenwood and Mr. and Mrs. Dan Williams Rigby Jr. of Greenville. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert LeRoy Templin of Greenwood and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dan Williams Rigby Sr. He is a graduate of Wofford College; Western Carolina University, where he received a master’s degree; and the University of South Carolina, where he received his doctorate. He is completing a post-doctoral residency in psychology through The Children’s Hospital of The Greenville Hospital System.

The bride wore a full length ivory gown of organza featuring off-the-shoulder sleeves made of organza rose buds with seeded pearls and a chapel length train.
She wore her mother’s headpiece attached to a semi-cathedral length veil.
She carried a bouquet of pink and cream roses with a sprig of white heather.
The bridegroom’s father was best man.
Groomsmen were Andrew Michael Cameron and Christopher Neal Dekle, both of Columbia, Matthew Vincent Masten of Winston-Salem, N.C., Cleveland Alan Richard of Washington, D.C., Peter Earl Ritchey of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Richard Woodrow Wilson of Greenwood.
Beadle (Scottish Bible bearer) was Georgia Lee Woodard.
The bride’s parents were hosts of a reception at the Riverbanks Botanical Garden.
After a wedding trip to the Amalfi Coast of Italy, the couple lives in Greenville.

Wedding music was presented by organist Albert Cowan Gambrell III, pianist Mrs. Albert Cowan Gambrell III, and trumpeter Timothy Bivins, all of Greenwood, and soloist Christine Powell Kellett of Richmond, Va.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Lars West of Greenwood. She is the granddaughter of Harriett West Baker of Greenville, the late Freddie Livingston Baker, the late Allen Canton West and the late Mrs. William Everette Trussell. She is a 1992 graduate of Greenwood High School and a 1997 graduate of Clemson University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics teaching. She was presented at the 1993 Danse de Noel in Greenwood and is a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She is a pharmaceutical sales representative with Janssen Pharmaceutica in Columbia.
The bridegroom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Mark Alan Whiting of Belleair, Fla. He is the grandson of Commander Mitchell James Whiting of Lake Placid, Fla., Joan Catherine Whiting of Sarasota, Fla., and Captain and Mrs. Alexander Emory Tanos of Miami, Fla. He is a 1991 graduate of Clearwater Central Catholic High School in Clearwater, Fla., and a 1995 graduate of the University of South Carolina, where he received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He is a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity and is a legal assistant with McLaren and Lee, Attorneys at Law in Columbia.

Bridesmaids were Ashley Lynn Whiting, the bridegroom’s sister and Miriam Britt Reynolds, both of New York, N.Y., the bridegroom’s sister, Allyson Nicole Downing, Sara Louise Hendrix and Kristin Michelle Reeves, all of Greenville, Alison Lynn Hayes of Charlestown, Mass., and Leighanne DeMarzo Longua of Chicago, Ill.
Anna Grace McLaughlin and Haley Elizabeth McLaughlin, both nieces of the bride of Greenwood, were flower girls.
The bride wore a floor length gown of white Duchess silk satin. The fitted strapless bodice was accented with small satin buttons in the back and waistline. The ballroom skirt featured a white silk taffeta sash folded at the back waistline and flowed into a chapel length train.
She wore a tiara featuring a single row of Swarovski crystals attached to a chapel length veil of silk illusion featuring a satin-corded edge.
She carried a clutch style bouquet of freesia, peonies, stock and bouvardia in bridal whites with accents of Italian ruscus.
Attendants wore two-piece satin gowns in palomino, featuring halter necklines, fitted waists and slight A-line skirts.
They carried clutch bouquets of lavender hydrangeas and seeded eucalyptus.
The flower girls’ dresses, designed and made by their mother, Julie McLaughlin, the bride’s sister, were Duchess white satin featuring sleeveless bodices, rounded necklines and full skirts. The backs were accented with hand covered buttons and a folded sash at the back waistlines.
The bridegroom’s father was best man.
Groomsmen were Christopher Lawrence Chapman of Tampa, Fla., Thomas Kirkland Hardy Jr. of Greenville, Thomas Lee Jacobs Jr. of Mount Pleasant, Joseph Anthony Lopes Jr. of Roselle Park, N.J., Michael Rodman Skidd of Clearwater, Fla., Robert Michael Staudt of Lincroft, N.J., and Jonathan Davis McCabe of James Island.
Ushers were Kevin Robert McLaughlin of Greenwood, the bride’s brother-in-law, Nicholas Joseph Williams of New York, N.Y., Jason Heinz Maurer and Martin Robert Shuler, both of Mount Pleasant.
The bride’s parents were hosts of a reception at the Greenwood Country Club.
After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple will live in Lexington.

Wedding music was presented by Laurie Baggott of West Columbia, Michelle Renew of Lexington, Sharon Rattray of Columbia and Don Albertson of Aiken.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter L. Lown III of West Columbia. She is the granddaughter of Marie Lown of West Columbia, and the late Walter L. Lown Jr., and Mr. and Mrs. Jack E. Stanley of West Columbia. She is attending Midlands Technical College and is employed by RBMG Inc. of Columbia.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne A. Powell Sr. of Greenwood. He is the grandson of David Powell of Langley, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Harlin of Columbia and the late Pauline Wightman. He is a graduate of Lander University and is employed by CGI in Columbia.
Melissa Wooten of Lexington, the bride’s sister, was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Staci Bryant of Irmo and Heather Kamis of Columbia.
Lillie Powers of Columbia was flower girl.
The bride wore a sleeveless gown of white duchess satin, featuring a princess fitted bodice and squared neckline. The gown was accented with pearled and sequined embroidery embellishing the bodice. The back of the bodice matched the front, and was accented with buttons. The empire waist flowed into an A-line skirt enhanced with matching pearled and sequined embroidery, and featured a semi-cathedral train.
She wore a floral rhinestone tiara attached to a double-layered English silk illusion veil, adorned with scattered pearls.
Attendants wore floor length, A-line dresses of Victorian lilac matte satin. The princess bodices featured square necklines and short sleeves. The backs of the bodices matched the front and were accented with buttons.
The flower girl wore a white satin, sleeveless dress similar to the bride’s. The dress’ bodice featured pearled and sequined embroidery and an A-line skirt.
The bridegroom’s father was best man.
Groomsmen were Shane Ballenger of Oxnard, Calif., and Todd Felty of Fort Worth, Texas.
Junior groomsmen were Ryan Powell of Greenwood and Baxter Stanley of Sumter.
Ushers were John Breaux of Columbia and Doug Renew of Lexington.
After a wedding trip to Aruba, the couple will live in Lexington.
