Preceded in death by parents, Mote and Minnie Hall Leach; husband, Theodore Croley.
Funeral services were held Feb. 23 in the Cox and Son Chapel with Rev. Ellis Hoskins officiating. Interment
was in the Huddleston cemetery.

Ruby McNew Lawson
Ruby McNew Lawson, 88 died Feb. 19, 2011.
Preceded in death by husband, Raymond Harrison Lawson; parents, Wesley and Mertie McCreary McNew.
Ruby is survived by daughter, Rhonda Bunch of Jacksboro.
Funeral services will be at 8 p.m. on Feb. 23 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Dr. Clarence Duncan and Rev. Wesley Duncan officiating. Interment
will be at 10 a.m. on Feb. 24 in Willoughby cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. before funeral services.

Virgil G. Weaver, 84, of Clairfield died Feb. 15, 2011.
Preceded in death by wife, Anna K. Stone; parents, William, Sr. and Rachel Weaver.
Funeral services were held Feb. 17 in the Reece Valley Chapel with Rev. Jim Blevins and Rev. Terry Stanley officiating. Interment
was in the Riverview cemetery.

Walter "Dick" Fowler Wells
Walter "Dick" Fowler Wells, 83 of Lake City died Feb. 20, 2011.
Preceded in death by parents, Walter and Etta Vowell Wells; daughter, Sherialee Wells.
Dick is survived by wife, Selman Angeline Wells of Lake City; sons, Doyle Wells of Knoxville; daughter, Derita Dunaway of Shelby Township, Mi.
Funeral services were held Feb. 22 in the Holley Gamble Funeral Home with Rev. J.J. Patterson and Rev. Lynn Mowery officiating. Interment
was in the Sunset cemetery.

Donnie Hurst
Donnie Hurst, 53, of Speedwell, died April 8, 2011.
Donnie is survived by sons, Daniel and Corie Hurst of LaFollette; father, Harim Hurst of Frakes, Ky; mother, Rosa Ann Hurst of LaFollette.
Funeral services were held April 10 in the Cross-Smith Chapel with Rev. Carl Edwards officiating. Interment
was in the Flat Hollow cemetery.

Nettie Honeycutt Hill
Nettie Honeycutt Hill, 78, of LaFollette went to be with Jesus on April 9, 2011.
Nettie was employed by Balloff’s Clothing Stores and the Balloff Family for nearly forty years. She was a member of Mountain View Independence Baptist Church (formerly LaFollette Baptist Temple) and taught Sunday school there for many years. She was an avid walker and covered many a mile in her 78 years. She loved to garden in her spaire time and was a huge Lady Vols Fan.
Curtis Leon Perkins
Curtis Leon Perkins, 79, of Elk Valley died April 12, 2011.
Preceded in death by parents, Leonard and Etta M. Martin Perkins.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on April 17 in the Cox and Son Chapel with Rev. David Napier officiating. Interment
was in the Valley View cemetery.

Edna Ruth Wilson
Edna Ruth Wilson, 74 of Jacksboro, July 27, 2012. She was born on June 11, 1937.
Edna enjoyed gardening, working in her flower garden, chasing her grandchildren, singing, and watching birds. She loved her family and her dogs very much.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother Walter Gunter and Johnny Mae Harriman and husband Wilborne “Cotton” Wilson.
Emmitte Wilson
Emmitte Wilson, 75 of Jacksboro died July 26, 2011. He was born on November 15, 1935. Emmitte was a very loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family and working as long as he was able.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother Luther and Mayme Wilson.
Christy Baird
Christy Baird, 41 of Jacksboro, died in Nashville, Aug 2, 2011. She was born November 8, 1969 in Chattanooga. She was a member of Community Missionary Baptist Church. Christy enjoyed working in her flowers and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband Randy. She was loved by many will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Teddy and Maxine Brown Tucker and her brother, Dewayne Tucker.
Charles Blankenship
Charles Blankenship, 63, died Aug. 15, 2011 at his home. He was born Aug 28, 1947 in Elk Valley.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War of the United States Army. He retired from Pontiac General Motors, was a Postal carrier for Lake City and a truck diver for Henry Excavation Company in Knoxville.
Charles was a member of the local UAW 653, and a member of Save Our Cumberland Mountains since 1979.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Christean Lewallen Blankenship; sister, Mary Madelone Blankenship; niece, Michelle May.
Lesa Ann Albright
Lesa Ann Albright, 52, died on Sept.1, 2011.
She was the daughter of the late James Housley and Delores Dickens. She was preceded in death by her father, James Housley.
Lesa is survived by her son Christopher Albright; mother, Delores Dickens.
Funeral Services were held on Sept. 4. Interment

She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, DAR and Daughter of 1812. She is preceded in death by mother Helen June Woods Boshears.

Sonya Faye Hicks Foust, 48, died Sept. 2, 2011.
Sonya is preceded in death by her father Ronnie Hicks.
She is survived by mother, Maggie Jean Hicks; husband, Sam Foust; son, Samuel Foust; daughter, Rebecca Rayfiled.
Funeral services were held on Sept. 4 at Clinch River Baptist Church. Interment
was held on Sept 5.
