Austin was born at Fort Bragg North Carolina to Eric Von Ludwigsen and Kelly Rae Ludwigsen on October 26th 1996. He went to many schools in his short time, but his favorite school was Miles Elementary in Miles Texas.

Austin is survived by his parents Eric and Kelly Ludwigsen. His younger sister Hayley Brianne Ludwigsen and younger brother, Matthew Christian Ludwigsen.

Austin spent his last night before going to bed throwing the football in the back yard with his dad and brother. He was also looking forward to working on his motorcycle the next day because he was going to ride over memorial day weekend while spending time at his maternal grandparents at their home.

Austin just started riding motorcycles on motocross courses within the last year. He enjoyed life to the fullest and had many experiences in his short twelve years. He played on baseball, football, and basketball teams. Learned to snow board and surf. He enjoyed school and was a little bit of a class clown. He loved to ride his rip stick with his sister and brother. He ice skated with his sister after her lessons. He hunted with both guns and bows, fished as often as he could, drove his daddy’s truck out in the country, went shopping and out for special times with his mom. He skateboarded, played chess and went to many professional baseball and football games including his favorite teams the Dallas Cowboys and Boston Red Sox. He also liked watching whatever his daddy liked and going anywhere he was headed. He wanted to be a Soldier and jump out of airplanes like his hero (his dad). He was an incredible artist and had an ability to build things that always amazed his mom. He was a beautiful child on the inside and out. We truly had no better joy than what he brought us everyday of his life. His brother and sister always looked up to him and he was very protective of them.

In memory of a loving son and genuinely considerate young man to everyone he met or knew.

Pallbearers will be his father Eric Ludwigsen, uncles Paul Ludwigsen and Daniel Ludwigsen and his big brother figure Nick Rowten.

Memorials in Lieu of flowers may be given in Austin’s name to the:

Austin Ludwigsen Memorial Scholarship Fund

The family of Austin wishes to extend their sincere thanks to all.
