MESQUITE - Funeral services for Clara May Sasser, 75 of Mesquite, were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Anderson-Clayton Funeral Home in Dallas.

Born May 24, 1928 in Teluride, CO., the daughter of (John) Marion and Ruby Everett, she passed away Dec. 2, 2003.

Preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 54 years, O.C. Sasser, she is survived by sons John Marion Sasser and Cecil 'Ricky' Sasser, daughters Ann Freeman and Joyce Williamson, Brother John Everett and wife Martha, sister-in-law- Jenny Sasser, in-laws Linda Sasser, Larry Freeman and Dale York, and 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Interment followed at Grove Hill cemetery in Mesquite.

Arrangements were under the direction of Anderson-Clayton Funeral Home of Mesquite.

Robert William Krywalski
Sept. 11, 1936 - Dec. 4, 2003

PECAN HILL - Funeral services for Robert William Krywalski 67 of Pecan Hill, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003 at the First Baptist Church in Red Oak with Jeff Swart officiating.

Born Sept. 11, 1936 in Buffalo, N.Y., the son of Gerald and Angeline Schulz, he passed away Dec. 4, 2003 in Lancaster.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Krywalski, of Pecan Hill, sons David Krywalski and wife Candy of Red Oak, Scott Krywalski and wife Irma of Red Oak, and Randy Krywalski and wife Pam of Dallas, Brother Gerard Kyrwalski of N.Y. and grandchildren Justin Cunningham, Bobby, T.J., Kelly, Casey, and Samantha Krywalski.

Interment was in DFW cemetery in Dallas under the arrangements of Red Oak Funeral Home, Berdon Byrum.

Memorials may be sent to Kidney Foundation.

Chanie Iclee Major
Nov. 9, 1911 - Dec. 3, 2003

GUN BARREL - Funeral services for Chanie Iclee Major 92 of Gun Barrel, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec 5, 2003 in Red Oak Funeral Home Chapel with H. L. Corpany, Jr. officiating.

Born Nov. 9, 1911 in Dekalb Co., Ala., to Horace Young and Ary Buckles McElhaney, Chanie Iclee Major passed away Dec. 3, 2003 in Athens and is survived by daughters Helen Cheek and husband Dean of Henderson, and Helen Scoggins and husband Jack of Gun Barrel.

Interment was at Laurel Land in Dallas under the arrangements of Red Oak Funeral Home, Berdon Byrum.

Josefina B. Sandoval
March 16, 1931 – Jan. 27, 2004

PALMER – Funeral services for Josefina B. Sandoval, 72, of Palmer were held at 2 p.m. Thursday Jan. 29, 2004 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Ferris with Father Oscar Gales officiating.

Born March 16, 1931 in La Toracella, G.T.O. Mexico, she passed away Jan. 27, 2004 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.

She was a homemaker.

Preceded in death by her husband Jose Sandoval, father Basilio Valdivia and mother Apolonia Rosas.

She is survived by daughter Rosa Sandoval Landa of Palmer; daughter Maria S. Ovalle of Ferris; Nancy S. Ocanas of Ennis; son Joe Sandoval Jr. of Red Oak; son Frank Sandoval of Red Oak; son Apolinar Sandoval of Palmer, son Bernardo Sandoval of Wilmer; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Nicklas Ocanas, Apolinar Sandoval, Frank Sandoval, Bernardo Sandoval, Manuel Ocanas, and Rodolfo Landa.

Interment followed at Ferris Memorial Park North with Green Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Annie Lee Ray
March 18, 1910 – Jan. 25, 2004

FERRIS – Funeral services for Annie Lee Ray, 93, of Ferris were held at 2 p.m. Friday Jan. 30, 2004 at First Baptist Church in Ferris with Dr. Bobby Adams and Rev. Royce Campbell officiating.

Born March 18, 1910 in Ferris, she passed away Jan. 25, 2004 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.

She was a homemaker.

Preceded in death by her husband Thelbert Thomas Ray, father James Allen and mother Sally Henry.

She is survived by son Lee Ray of Lafayette, CO; granddaughter Rhonda Ray of Dallas; granddaughter Yvonne Ray of Irving and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Terry Murdock, Mike Murdock, Bob Murdock, Mike Bartis, Bob Eubanks and Robbie Belsher.

Interment followed at Ferris Memorial Park North with Green Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Alfred Jefferson Moyers
Dec. 26, 1921 – Jan. 29, 2004

FERRIS – Graveside services for Alfred Jefferson Moyers, 82, of Ferris were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday Jan. 31, 2004 at Ferris Memorial Park North in Ferris with Dr. Ed Bailey and Brother Bart Myers officiating.

Born Dec. 26, 1921 in Ferris, he passed away Jan. 29, 2004 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.

A former banker for 25 years at Farmers and Merchants State Bank in Ferris, Moyers was also a member of the Ferris Lions Club, American Legion, Ferris Church of Christ.

He attended college for two years before enlisting in the U.S. Army 91st Infantry Division during World War II. He received an honorable discharge.

Preceded in death by his parents and son Jeff Moyers.

She is survived by wife Vivian E. Moyers of North Richland Hills; daughter Monica Harper of Keller; Louise Bailey of Franklin, TN; son Bart Moyers of Bayfield, CO; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren..

Interment followed at Ferris Memorial Park North with Green Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cookson Hills Children Ministries Rt. 3 Box 200 Kansas, Okla. 74347.

Phillip Joseph Dezaux Jr

Clarence Weldon McBrannon
Sept. 24, 1924 – Feb. 1, 2004

FERRIS – Funeral services for Clarence Weldon McBrannon, 79, of Ferris were held at 2 p.m. Feb. 4, 2004 at First Methodist Church in Ferris with Rev. Mary Gean Cope officiating.

Born Sept. 24, 1924 in Waxahachie, he passed away Feb. 1, 2004 at Methodist Central Hospital in Dallas.

He was a pipe fitter until 1982, when he retired after 50 years.

He served in World War II as a private in the United States Army.

Preceded in death by his father Dean Aday, mother Ethel Brannon, granddaughter Andrea Dawn McBrannon, brother Joh Franklin Toal, brother Marion A. Toal.

He is survived by wife Juanita McBrannon of Ferris; daughter Barbara Bennett of Lancaster; daughter Pamela Landrum of Dallas; daughter Gay Smith of Lexington, NC; son Kenneth McBrannon of Carrollton; sister Mary K. Burns of Dallas; brother Ray Toal of Ennis; brothers Glenn, Garry and Richard Toal, all of Trumbull; six grandsons, one granddaughter, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Interment followed at Edgewood cemetery in Lancaster with Green Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

April Deann Campbell
April 14, 1980 – January 31, 2004

WAXAHACHIE – Funeral services for April Deann Campbell, 23, of Waxahachie were held at 3 p.m. Feb. 2, 2004 at Waxahachie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Wilcox officiating.

Born April 14, 1980 in Dallas, she passed away suddenly Jan. 31, 2004 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.

She is survived by daughter Victoria Donnelle Williams; mother Gena Bell of Sardis; father James Campbell of Waxahachie; sisters Crystal Griffin, Amber Campbell, Danielle Hudson, all of Waxahachie, brothers Bryen Hudson and Trey Hudson, both of Waxahachie; and a newphew Nicholas Acuna..

Interment followed at Red Oak cemetery with Waxahachie Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Betty Jo Bracken
Feb. 8, 1925 – Jan. 30, 2004

RED OAK – Graveside services for Betty Jo Bracken, 78, of Red Oak were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday Feb. 1, 2004 at Red Oak cemetery with Don Rick officiating.

Born in Red Oak, Feb. 8, 1925 the daughter of Beaula Cherry and George Marvin Parks, she passed away Jan. 30, 2004 at Red Oak Rehabiliation Center.

She is survived by son Larry Bracken and his wife Carol Bracken of Weatherford; son Bim Bracken and his wife Betty Bracken of Red Oak; grandchildren Sandy Forbes, Tommy Moore, Andrea Bracken, Michelle Hosken, great-grandchildren Carson Forbes and Justice Moore.

The family wants to express their appreciation and thanks to the Red Oak Rehabiliation Center and Odyssey Hospice for the care of Betty Jo Bracken.

Interment was at Red Oak cemetery with Red Oak Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Lois Staton Tollerson Waggoner

WAXAHACHIE – Funeral services for Lois Staton Tollerson Waggoner, 84, of Waxahachie were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday Feb. 2, 2004 at Waxahachie Funeral Home Chapel.

Born Oct. 15, 1919 in Five Points, Tx the daughter of Lulu and William Stanton, she passed away Jan. 31, 2004 at Pleasant Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center in Waxahachie.

She retired from LTV after 28 years of employment.

Lois married James Waggoner Aug. 9, 1984 in Canton.

Preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Raymond Tollerson and son Bill Tollerson.

She is survived by husband James Waggoner of Waxahachie; daughters Betty and Doran Elledgeof Lancaster; Betty and Ray Carter of Duncanville; sisters Betty Gauntt of Arlington; Jackie Musgraves of Fort Worth; grandson Jeff Thornton; granddaughter Sunny Carter; grandson Jon Carter and one great granddaughter Shayla Carter.

Interment followed at Laurel Land in Dallas with Waxahachie Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
