RED OAK – Graveside services for William Reeder Donelson, 74 of Red Oak, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2001 in the Ferris Memorial Park North.
Born on Dec. 12, 1926 in Clear Lake, the son of Johnny and Ira Ishman Donelson, he passed away Jan. 27, 2001 at Renfro Nursing Home in Waxahachie.
Preceded in death by his parents and son Clarence W. Donelson; he is survived by daughters Judy Kay Robertson of Waxahachie, Martha J. Donelson of Hemet, Calif. And Loretta Ann Smith of Palmer; sons William Ray Donelson of Surry and Tommy Glen Donelson of Red Oak; half brother James Donelson of Seagoville; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.

Dorothy Brickell Eastman
Dec. 26, 1915 – Jan. 21, 2001

WAXAHACHIE – Graveside services for Dorothy Brickell Eastman, 85 of Waxahachie, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan 23, 2001 at the Sardis cemetery with Mr. Charles Payne officiating.
Born Dec. 26, 1915 in Waxahachie, the daughter of William S. and Martha Goldie Meharg Brickell, she passed away Sunday, Jan. 21, 2001 at Baylor Medical Center in Waxahachie.
Preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Frances Howard and Helen Taylor; she is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Betty Eastman of Los Colinas and Martha Hayes and husband Bob of Waxahachie; grandchildren Kim Childress of Plano and Kaycee Regaldo of Waxahachie; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters Wilda Moir of Waxahachie and Mary Sue Vandyke of Bolder, Colo; one sister-in-law Marie Spain and one brother-in-law Cline Howard.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Arrangements were under the direction of Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home.

Bonnie Lee Ellis
July 29, 1910 – Jan. 24, 2001

RED OAK – Funeral services for Bonnie Lee Ellis, 90 of Red Oak, were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, 2001 at Faith Baptist Church in Red Oak with Rev. Paul Shearin officiating.
Born on July 29, 1910 in Sunset, the daughter of Herman F. and Bettie C. Dyer St. John, she passed away Jan. 24, 2001 in Lancaster.
Preceded in death by her husband Lloyd; she is survived by her sons Robert Ellis of Red Oak and James Lloyd Ellis of Garland; daughters Betty Stennett of Red Oak and Billie Spires of Red Oak; brothers Floyd St. John of Bowie and A. J. St. John of Bowie; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Interment followed in the Red Oak cemetery under the direction of Red Oak Funeral Home, Berdon Byrum.

Michael Allen Graff
Oct. 14, 1956 – Jan. 24, 2001

FERRIS – Graveside services for Michael Allen Graff, 44 of Ferris, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2001 in the Ferris Memorial Park North with Rev. Elmer Glazener officiating.
Born on Oct. 14, 1956 in Dallas, the son of James Henry and Patsy Jo Johnson Graff, he passed away Jan. 24, 2001 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.
Preceded in death by his father; he is survived by his mother Patsy J. McCormick of Ferris; daughters Leslie Graff of Coppel and Trisha Graff of Coppel; brother James A. Graff of Lovelady; sisters Deborah McDaniel of Ferris and Valorie Edens of Wilmer; one grandchild; one nephew and seven nieces.
Funeral arrangements were under the directions were under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.

Kenneth Darrow Hannah
Nov. 3, 1899 – Jan. 23, 2001

WAXAHACHIE – Graveside services for Kenneth Darrow Hannah, 101 of Waxahachie, were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan 24, 2001 in Little Bethel cemetery, Duncanville with Owen Cosgrove officiating.
Born on Nov. 3, 1899, he passed away Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2001 in Tyler.
He is survived by one son, David D. Hannah of Tyler; two grandsons, Michael R. Hannah and wife Luann, and David L. Hannah and wife Gail, all of Tyler; granddaughter Nancy Christian and husband Billy of Ark.; nine great grandchildren.
Arrangements were under the direction of Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home in Waxahachie.

Bonnie Beth Jackson
Aug. 13, 1940 – Jan. 23, 2001

WAXAHACHIE – Funeral services for Bonnie Beth Jackson of Waxahachie were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, 2001 in the Waxahachie Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Herb Corpany, Jr. officiating.
Born on Aug. 13, 1940 in Gilmer, the daughter of Ellis and Bonnie Beth Parsons, she passed away Jan. 23, 2001 at her home in Waxahachie.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, J.B. Jackson; son J.B. Jackson, Jr. and wife Mary Jane; three daughters, Bonnie Ann Jackson Warren and husband Roger, Delores Beth Jackson Gazo and husband Tom, Pamela Jo Waterman and husband Lenny; sister Grace Johnson; and grandchildren Jaydale, Lori, Pamela, Carma, Marriya, Brandy, Donna, Wendy, Charlene, Joe, Sandy, Michael, Martin.
Interment followed at Little Bethel cemetery under the direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.

Pauline McDowell
March 3, 1921 – Jan. 25, 2001

FERRIS – Funeral services for Pauline McDowell, 79 of Ferris, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, 2001 at Green Funeral home with Rev. Steve Hamm and Michael McDowell officiating.
|Born on March 3, 1921 in Carthrage, the daughter of William Marvin and Flora Curry McAnnally, she passed away Jan. 25, 2001 at Baylor Medical Center in Waxahachie.
Preceded in death by her husband Monroe McDowell, mother, sons Paul Monroe McDowell, Timothy McDowell, sister Marie Morris, brother Harvey McAnnally and great-grandson Trent Michael Greene; she is survived by six daughters Katherine Hamm of Ferris, Christine Richardson and husband Brian of San Antonio, Barbara Lynch and husband Michael of Delvane, Wis., Cynthia Moon of Dallas, Pamela Chavez and husband Ruben of Coral Springs, Flor. and Jeanette Wold and husband Eric of Pearland; six sons Williams McDowell and wife Joyce of Ferris, Bobby McDowell and wife Jeanette of Red Oak, Carl McDowell of Ferris, Donald McDowell and wife Ann of Huntsville, Ala., Ernest McDowell of Ferris and Everett McDowell of Ferris; sister Martha Ballow of Mabank; brother Charlie McAnnally of Eustace; 20 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Bill Hamm, Tommy Hamm, Larry McDowell, Scott McDowell, Jason McDowell and Steve Taylor.
Interment followed in the Ferris Memorial Park North under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.

Beatrice Moore
Sept. 30, 1915 – Jan. 24, 2001

WAXAHACHIE – Funeral services for Beatrice Moore, 85 of Waxahachie, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, 2001 at Farley Street Baptist Church with Bro. Richard Smith and Bro. Jack McDaniel officiating.
Born on Sept. 30, 1915 in Navarro County, the daughter of Luther and Eva (Gann) Wood, she passed away Jan. 24, 2001 at Baylor Medical Center in Waxahachie.
She is survived by her two sons Johnny Moore and wife Donna of Waxahachie and Ricky Dan Moore and wife Chany of Laporte; daughter Joyce Brown and husband Jim Roy of Corsicana; two brothers Weldon Wood of Stanford and Bobby Dan Wood of Cedar Creek; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Farley Street Baptist Church Building Fund in Memory of Beatrice Moore.
Interment followed in the Resthaven Memorial Park in Corsicana under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.

David Reedy Smith, Jr.
Feb. 1, 1929 – Jan. 21, 2001

WAXAHACHIE – Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2001 in the chapel of Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home with Dr. Harden and Rev. Dale Ordogne officiating.
Born on Feb. 1, 1929 in Oklahoma City, Okla., the son of David Reedy Sr. and Willie Mae McCahan Smith , he passed away Jan. 21, 2001 at Baylor Medical Center in Waxahachie.
Preceded in death by his mother, one son Michael Allen Smith, one daughter Vickie Lee Smith and two brothers, Jerry Lamar Smith and Lowell Brock Smith; he is survived by his wife, Charlotte Smith of Waxahachie; three sons, David Reedy Smith III, Jim Brock Smith and Sammy L. Smith, all of Maypearl; his father David R. Smith, Sr.; six grandchildren, Cody Brock Smith, Byron Nathan Smith, Donna Michelle Smith, Davina Renee Smith, Marilla Autumn Smith and Renee Lee Ann Smith; and brother, Billy Smith of Amarilla.
Interment followed in the Auburn cemetery under the direction of Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home.

Joy B. Whitt
Feb. 25, 1929 – Jan. 26, 2001

WAXAHACHIE – Funeral services for Joy B. Whitt, 71 of Waxahachie, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, 2001 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel.
Born on Feb. 25, 1929 in Lometa, the daughter of Tom and Zelma (Kinchloe) Phillips, she passed away Jan. 26, 2001 in Waxahachie.
Preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters; she is survived by son Leroy Whitt Jr. and wife Kimberly of Red Oak; three daughters Sue Ray and husband Danny of Quinlan, Kathy Williams and husband Dwaine of Nash and Donna Housewright and husband John of Red Oak; three brothers Burlin Phillips of Waxahachie, Johnny Phillips of Clifton, and Billy Joe Phillips of Bowie; three sisters Gracie Dunson of Ft. Worth, Faye O’Daniel of Boyce and Florene Wilkerson of Red Oak; special friends Mary Craig and Lilly Stacks of Waxahachie; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Interment followed in the Lakeview cemetery under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.

William Ike Alford
Nov. 12, 1921 – Feb. 2, 2001

WAXAHACHIE – Funeral services for William Ike Alford, 79 of Waxahachie, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5, 2001 in the Pat Boke Memorial Chapel with Rev. A.J. Fox, Jr., Rev. Phillip Freeman and Rev. James Bland officiating.
Born on Nov. 12, 1921 in Peeltown, the son of George Washington and Teedy (Haught) Alford, he passed away Feb. 2, 2001 at his residence.
Preceded in death by his parents, son, three brothers and four sisters; he is survived by his wife Lela Mae Alford; son Jerry L. Alford and wife Amy; two daughters Anita D. Laymon and husband Todd, and Donnette Taylor all of Waxahachie; two brothers James Alford of Ft. Worth and “George” Washington Alford of Dallas; three sisters Minnie Fox and husband A.J. of Weatherford, Estelle Boling of Ft. Worth and Billie Tubb and husband Elgin of Centerville; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Interment followed in the Myrtle cemetery in Ennis under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
