WAXAHACHIE – Mass services for John J. Frontera, of Ferris, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2001 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waxahachie with Rev. Jerome as celebrant.
Born on Nov. 18, 1935 in Youngsville, Pa., the son of James and Estella Frontera, he passed away April 16, 2001 after a year long battle with lung cancer.
He is survived by his wife Marie; son James Frontera and wife Jackie of Ferris; two daughters Deborah Lively of Dallas and Cecelia Paul of Ferris; three grandchildren; two brothers Doug and Francis Frontera; and sisters Betty Thompson, Judy Zaner, Stella Klucinikas, Dottie Preshak and Lucy Pearson.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.
Tina Mae (Tiny) Hathcock
June 5, 1908 – April 20, 2001
FERRIS – Funeral services for Tina Mae (Tiny) Hathcock, 92 of Ferris, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2001 at Green Funeral Home with Rev. Royce Campbell officiating.
Born on June 5, 1908 in Bristol, the daughter of Charlie Washington Childress and Annie Mae Allen, she passed away April 20, 2001.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph Richard Hathcock, and son Randall Wade Hathcock; she is survived by her sons and their wives Joe Howard and Lorene Hathcock of Ferris and Billy Ray and Twina Hathcock of Ferris; daughter and son-in-law Peggy Ann and Joe Wayne Murdock of Ferris; daughter-in-law Sarah Ruth Hathcock of Ferris; sister Lois Tucker of Salinas, Calif.; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Vitas Hospice Care, 8585 Stemmons #700 Dallas, Texas 75247.
Interment followed in the Bristol cemetery under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.
Raul Rodriquez Juarez

FERRIS – Memorial mass services for Raul Rodriquez Juarez were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2001 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Hugo Monsanto celebrant.
Born on Jan. 12, 1961 in Waukeegen, Ill., the son of Roberto and Maria Juarez, he passed away April 14, 2001 at his residence.
He is survived by his parents; brothers Robert, Felix, Ruben and Rojelio Juarez; sisters Celia Arostegui and Florence Guerrero; 16 nephews and nieces and one great niece.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.
James Santos

ENNIS – Funeral services for James Santos, 77 of Ennis, were held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2001 in St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Fred Caldwell as celebrant.
Born on Feb. 2, 1924 in Rice, the son of Antonio and Christina Esquivel Santos, he passed away April 18, 2001 at the Navarro Regional Hospital in Corsicana.He is survived by his
wife Octavia of Ennis; two sons Richard Santos of Ennis and James Santos Jr. of Garland; daughter Rachel Presnell of Garland; four step-children Jimmy Pinales, Olga Bridgewater, Delores Flores and Olivia Jones; three brothers John Santos, Charlie Santos and Johnny Santos all of Ennis; three sisters Anastasia Correa, Timothea Martinez and Christina Sanchez all of Ennis; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Gilbert Santos, Anthony Santos, Lloyd Santos and Albert Martinez. Honorary pallbearer was Jeffrey Santos.
Interment followed in St. Josephs cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.
Irene Scarborough

ENNIS – Graveside services for Irene Scarborough, 81, were held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2001 in the Myrtle cemetery with Rev. Eddie Ricks officiating.
Born on Dec. 18, 1919 in Ft. Worth, the daughter of John L. and Euna E. May Nelson, she passed away April 16, 2001 at the Ennis Regional Medical Center.
Preceded in death by her husband Thomas Neil Scarborough; she is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.
James C. Allen

MILFORD – Graveside services for James C. Allen, 95 of Milford, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2001 at the Wheatland cemetery in Duncanville with Rev. Glynn Vyers officiating.
Born on April 18, 1906 in Wickes, Ark., he passed away April 19, 2001.
Preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Clark Allen, daughter, son, granddaughter, and grandson; he is survived by son Harold Allen; three daughters Dorothy Landers, Sylvia Hastings and her husband Wayne and Linda Barnes and her husband Don; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

Interment followed in the Waxahachie City cemetery under the direction of Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
David W. Blackerby

Born on Oct. 24, 1973 in Ennis, the son of Wilbert and Gladys Claxton Blackerby, he passed away in Ennis.
Preceded in death by his parents; he is survived by two brothers Ricky Whitt of Garrett and Wilbert Blackerby of Corsicana and a sister Shelly Walker of Corsicana.
Pallbearers were Steven Morrow, Nathan Allen, Lance Allen, Steve Allen, Cosme Duran and David Bell.
Interment followed in the Myrtle cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.

Born on June 9, 1913 in Algusta, Maine, the daughter of Harold and Beatrice Casswell Dodge, she passed away April 25, 2001 in Dallas.
She is survived by sons Harlan Rollin of North Carolina, Richard Rollin of Red Oak and Peter Rollin of North Carolina; daughter Sandra Gaussman of Maryland; brother George Smith of Arizona; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
