ENNIS - Funeral services for Margie Ann Cannaday, 65 of Ennis, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2001 in St. Johns Catholic Church with Rev. Fred Caldwell celebrant.
Born on May 3, 1935 in Ennis, the daughter of Claude and Eva Harrison Langley, she passed away April 8, 2001 at her home.
She is survived by her husband Thomas of Ennis; two sons Kermit Cannaday of Ennis and Ojimer and his wife Levonne Cannaday of Spokane, Wash.; daughter and her husband Rebecca and Randy Body of Italy; two brothers Leo Langley of Canyon City, Colo. and James Langley of Telico; and four grandchildren Jonathan, Desirae, Cody and Taylor.
Pallbearers were Brandon Slovak, Joshua Slovak, Mike Chennault, Jonathan Boyd, Ray Clark and Don Clark.
Interment followed in the St. Josephs cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary in Ennis.

Born on Jan. 12, 1961 in Waukeegan, Ill., the son of Roberto and Maria Juarez, he passed away April 14, 2001 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife Lisa Smith Bahm; parents; brothers Robert, Felix, Ruben and Rojelio Juarez; sisters Celia Arostegui and Florence Guerrero; 16 nephews and nieces and one great-niece.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.

Born on Aug. 18, 1946 in Ennis, the daughter of Charles E. and Wanda M. Gothard Tate, she passed away April 6, 2001 at the Baylor Medical Center in Waxahachie.
She is survived by her son Herbert LaMarque Jr. of Palmer; daughter Nicole LaMarque of Arlington; mother Wanda Tate of Palmer; fianc'e Steve Long of Palmer; father-in-law Matt LaMarque of Irving; sister-in-law Sandra LaMarque of Irving; grandchild Jacqueline Parker; step-grandchildren Taylor, Lisa, Austin, Drexx, Hayden, Ashley, Shane and Katie and niece Lacey LaMarque.
Pallbearers were Rob Stacks, Matt Meek, Jerry Wester, Larry Laznovsky, Timmy Smith, Bryan Long, Jimmy Parker and Danny Epps. Honorary pallbearer was Noral Robinson.
Interment followed in the Palmer cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.
Rita L. Riddle

Born on Dec. 28, 1943 in Ennis, the daughter of Arden and Ruby Miner Fincher, she passed away April 4, 2001 at her home.
Preceded in death by her parents and brother Terry Fincher; she is survived by her daughter and her husband Kimberly and Richard Martinez of Ennis; grandchild Zachary Martinez; brother and his wife James and Donna Fincher of Ennis; and three sisters Patricia Slay of Dallas, Judy and her husband Kenneth Cashion of Avalon, and Myrna Sue and her husband Robert Marshall of Ennis.
Pallbearers were James A. Cashion, Jose I. Ramirez, Larry W. Atchley, Robert Fincher, Lonnie R. Cashion, Larry Perdue, Reggie Calhoun and Richard Parker.
Interment followed in the Myrtle cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.

Preceded in death by her husband Donald Thompson and her parents; she is survived by daughters Mary (Sis) Chandler of Ft. Worth and Evelyn Byrum of Dallas; son John Lusk Sr. of Kirkland, Ariz.; sister Mattie Hawkins of Addison; brother George Conn of Wills Point; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Interment followed in the Patrick-Pruitt cemetery in Ferris under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.

Born on Dec. 1, 1948 in Louisville, Ky., the daughter of Walter Edwin and Helen Virginia Ferrel Fisher, she passed away April 11, 2001 in Lancaster.
She is survived by her husband Richard Adams of Red Oak; sons David Adams of Red Oak and Richard Adams of Stockbridge, Ga.; daughters Callie Fisher, Danette Doering of Columbia, Tenn. and Rebecca Howard of McDonough, Ga.; her parents of Louisville, Ky.; nine grandchildren; brothers Walter Fisher of Georgia, Thomas Fisher of Kentucky and Larry Fisher also of Kentucky; and sister Barbara Fisher of Kentucky.
Interment followed in the Rest Haven cemetery in Louisville, Ky. under the direction of Red Oak Funeral Home, Berdon Byrum.

Born on Aug. 13, 1957 in Dallas, the son of Richard E. and Blanche Blanton Widener, he passed away April 11, 2001 at the Baylor Medical Center in Waxahachie.
He is survived by his wife Mae of Ennis; two sons Richard E. Widener II of Ennis and Christopher Davis Haney of Dallas; three daughters Samantha D. Zhanel of Ennis, Charly I. Widener of Ennis and Angela Sue Miller of Olympia, Wash.; his mother of Ennis; brother Jerald Widener of Ennis; and two grandchildren Taylor R. Zhanel and LeAnn N. Zhanel both of Ennis.
Pallbearers were Timmy Slovak, Larry Bryant, Barry Widener, Andy Widener, Cory Widener, Grady Widener, Joe Widener, David Morris, Chris Lansford and Danny Jurcik. Honorary pallbearer was Shawn Amison.

Preceded in death by his wife Mary B. Wright Bell; he is survived by five sisters-in-law Dorothy (Aaron) Phelps of Burleson, Elsie Cheyne of Ft. Worth, Fannie Kouba of Ennis, Elizabeth (Wendell) Elliott of Alma and Katy (Dave) Leinbach of Mabank; and Kathy Enslin.
Pallbearers were Mike Elliott, James Lewis, Johnny Phelps, Tom Bill Wright, Donny Phelps and Jeremy Elliott.
Interment followed in the Myrtle cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary in Ennis.
