Heidi Stoffer
February 12, 1980 - May 8, 2013

Heidi Alisha Inman Stoffer, 33, of Waxahachie, passed away early Wednesday May 8, 2013.
Heidi was born February 12, 1980 in Dallas, TX to Hugh and Janice Inman. Heidi graduated from Midlothian High School in 1998, where she was a cheerleader and avid tennis player. She went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from Texas Tech University in 2002. She met her husband, Jimmy, the summer of 2000 at Tech. August 9, 2003, Heidi and Jimmy were married in Dallas. In 2005, she graduated Law School from the University of Houston. After graduating from law school, Heidi began her legal career in Ellis County at the law firm of Wray & Willet, PLLC. Heidi excelled in real estate and banking practices. In 2010 Heidi was named a partner of the firm, Wray, Willett & Stoffer, PLLC.
In her free time, Heidi was a dedicated athlete and reader; she always had her kindle in hand. In 2011 Heidi finished the Boston Marathon and Ironman Arizona and in 2012 Ironman Florida. Heidi was active in her community, and she devoted a significant amount of time to several local charitable organizations. Heidi loved her husband, family, work and sport and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Stoffer of Waxahachie; her mother, Janice Inman of Midlothian; her sisters, Heather Prather and her husband, Greg of Midlothian, Patrice Askew of Dallas; her nieces, Ashlyn Leigh of Midlothian, Gracie Askew of Dallas, Mattie Prather of Midlothian, Mattie Prather of Midlothian; Nephews, Hayden Leigh of Midlothian, Grayson Askew of Dallas; her aunts, Patricia Burnett and her husband, Bruce of Midlothian and Renee Sutton of Midlothian.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hugh Inman.
Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church of Waxahachie. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion cemetery in Midlothian.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.

Eric White
December 18, 1984 - May 9, 2013

Eric White of Waxahachie, passed away May 9, 2013 at his residence.
Eric loved his family and friends unconditionally; had a huge heart and would do anything for anyone. He enjoyed sports and loved him some K. D. A loving son, brother, grandson and uncle will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his parents, Michael and Donna White; his sisters, Stacey Tigue and Megan White; his niece, Colbie Tigue; his nephew, Mason Tigue; his grandmothers, Bonnie Mundell and Jane White; and other extended family and close friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2013 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Chaplain Tom Crouser officiating.
Those serving as honorary pallbearers include, Michael Farda, Patrick Hughes, Reed Hughes, Travis Hughes, Sean Munoz and Jabir Perkins.

JEWEL INEZ HAILEY
March 16, 1931 - June 14, 2014

Jewel Inez Hailey, 83 of Red Oak, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2014 in Waxahachie. She was born to the late Robert C. Adkins and Ann Byrd Adkins on Monday, March 16, 1931 in Cookville, Texas, located in Titus County.
Jewel loved spending time with her family and she loved fishing. Sunday’s were a big day for her family; she always cooked a big lunch and everyone enjoyed time together. Jewel retired as a machinist for LTV after working there for over 30 years. All of her nieces and nephews were very special to her. She always called them Shug or Hun, which always made them feel very special in her life. Jewel will truly be missed by so many who loved her.
She is survived by her sons, Bill Hailey and Danny Hailey of Red Oak; her sisters, Shirley Adcock and her husband, Walter and Mary Nell Smith of Cedar Hill; she is also survived by 3 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jewel was preceded in death by 8 brothers and 3 sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at the Red Oak cemetery, Red Oak, Texas.

Frank Torti
November 4, 1936 - June 15, 2014

Frank Torti, 77 passed peacefully at home in Waxahachie Texas Sunday June 15, 2014.
He leaves his wife of 54 years Carol (Beard) Torti, brothers Charles Torti and Jonnie Torti, sons Frank S. Torti and Jack D. Torti, five grandchildren, six and a half great grand-children and several nieces and nephews.
Frank was born at home in Tarrant County, Texas on November 4, 1936 to Estelle and Giovanni Torti. He was a long time resident of Irving, Texas. He and Carol re-located to Waxahachie in 2007.
He was very proud of both his sons and the wonderful men they have become. He was a doting grandfather and loved to spend time with his family. He was well known for his amusing stories and antics. He never grew tired of retelling the anecdotes of his life to both new and old audiences.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Tuesday June 17, 2014 6:00 PM, at the home of Frank Steven and Karen Torti, 3076 FM 66 in Waxahachie. Pastor Ben Forbes of Eden Road Community Church will be officiating.

Michael William Pearson
May 17, 1971 - June 7, 2014

Michael Pearson 43, youngest of 9 children, of Midlothian TX, passed away early Saturday morning, June 7th, 2014 after a fatal car accident.
Michael graduated from Freeman High School, and then went on to serve an LDS mission to Lisbon Portugal. He attended BYU and while he was there, he met and married the love of his life, Acacia Fountain Pearson. He then finished his education at the University of Washington earning his degree in Paper Science Engineering.
He worked for many years at Georgia Pacific in Newport Oregon. He and his family have most recently been living in Midlothian TX. Michael had lots of passions in life. As the youngest of nine, he learned the value of a booming voice early on. He loved working with all types of metal—he really enjoyed smelting ore. Michael like to do everything big—He enjoyed grilling, gardening, gaming, sports, but most importantly he loved spending time with his family. He will be most missed for his wonderful energy, loud laughter, fun spirit, and his bear hugs that were legendary.
He is survived by his mother Vicki Pearson and his 8 older siblings, Robin Foutch (Jeff), Lori Konshuk (Brad), Bobi Jean Andros (Tom), Scot Pearson (Amelia), Chuck Pearson, Kari Pearson, Steve Pearson (Geri), Kristi Parry (Rick), his wife Acacia Fountain Pearson and his children, Liam, Benjamin, Annabelle, Emmaline, and Sarah.
His life will be celebrated at the LDS church in Waxahachie on June 21st, 2418 Brown St. Waxahachie TX 75165. Viewing will be from 12:00-1:00, funeral from 1:00-2:00.
Michael’s body will be laid to rest near his father who preceded him in death, in the Mt. Hope cemetery in eastern Washington near his childhood home.
A Memorial Fund has been set up for the family at: Citizens National Bank of Texas, 310 N. 9th , Midlothian TX 76065—Attn: Naomi. Please make checks payable to “For the Benefit of Acacia Pearson”.

BENTON COOPER ANDERSON
April 14, 1927 - June 23, 2014

Benton C. Anderson, a son given by the Lord to Benjamin C. and Julia Ann (McNabb) Anderson, was born in Columbia, Tennessee on April 14, 1927 and died in his home Monday morning June 23, 2014 following a lengthy illness.
He was married to Billie Hayes on the 20th day of December 1948 and they enjoyed a happy life together for more than 65 years. Benton was employed by Paymaster Oil Mill in Waxahachie and served as plant Superintendent until 1972. He retired from W.C. Cantrell Co. in Fort Worth, where he served as shop manager until 1986.
Surviving along with his wife Billie is one daughter Kathy Harris and husband Ted of Waxahachie, four grandsons, Rodney Anderson and wife Kelli of Corinth, Clint Harris and wife Carrie of Midlothian, Matt Harris of Dallas, Michael Anderson and wife Mica of Flower Mound along with four great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, his son Gene Anderson, his sisters: Esta Lee Fleeman, Elsie Hall, Clara Martin, Isabell Holder, Daisy Dixon and Ola George and brothers: Finis Ray Anderson, Mahue Anderson, Curtis Anderson and Carl Anderson.
Visitation will be at Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie from 7 to 9 PM Sunday, June 29, 2014. Graveside services and burial will be at Dallas Fort Worth National cemetery on Monday June 30, 2014 at 2:30 PM with Brent Vineyard officiating.
The family praises God for the blessing that Benton’s life brought to each of us and we rejoice in the promise that he is forever at home with his Savior. With grateful hearts we acknowledge the loving, compassionate, and professional care that was given to him by Bristol Hospice.

Bearl O'Neal Gosa
September 22, 1942 - May 8, 2013

Bearl O. Gosa, 70 of Waxahachie, passed away Wednesday, May 08, 2013 at Baylor Medical Center of Waxahachie. He was born to the late Woodroe and Iona McCray Gosa on September 22, 1942 in LaGrange, GA.
Bearl loved to fish and hunt. He loved people and was a natural born salesman. Bearl worked at the Waxahachie Auto Plex for 16 years. He proudly served our country in the United States Army and served as a Green Beret in the Special Forces Division. He will be remembered most by his kind heart and willing to do whatever he could to help a friend.
He is survived by his loving wife, Earline Gosa of Waxahachie; his son, Eric Gosa of North Carolina; his step son, Ken Brown and his wife Terresa of Royce City; his brother, Norm Gosa and his wife, Jo of Shreveport; his sister, Iona Carter of Cedar Creek Lake; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodroe and Iona McCray Gosa.
A memorial service to celebrate Bearl’s life is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home.

DORIS EVELYN ALLEN
April 21, 1928 - July 19, 2013

Doris Evelyn Allen, 85 of Waxahachie, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013 in Waxahachie. She was born to the late Audie Embrey and Lela Champ Embrey on April 21, 1928 in Italy, Texas.
Doris graduated from Italy High School as Salutatorian in 1946. She loved to talk and visit and enjoyed cooking. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy LaFever and her husband, Charles of Waxahachie; her son, Donny Allen and his wife, Susan of Waxahachie; her 3 grandchildren, Robert Michael Allen, Kevin Edward Allen, Matthew Alan LaFever; her 3 great grandchildren, Baylee Allen, Blaine Allen and Lucas Allen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Donald Allen; and also by her parents, Audie Embrey and Lela Champ Embrey.
Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the Bible Baptist Church, Waxahachie, with Pastor Todd Grimes officiating. Interment will follow at the Forreston cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
If desired, memorials may be made to the Meals on Wheels Program.

Mary Lou Morris
May 6, 1944 - July 13, 2013

Mary Lou Morris, 69 of Waxahachie, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013 in Midlothian . She was born to the late H.V. & Maggie Lou Hutchinson Morris on May 06, 1944. Mary Lou was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Maypearl. She attended other churches in Irving and was very active with the nursery and vacation bible school and her and her husband always played Santa and Mrs. Santa for many years at the church. Mary Lou loved to play chicken foot with her family and friends and always loved her family trips to the ocean at Galveston . She will be dearly missed by her family and everyone who knew her and loved her.
She is survived by her 2 brother and sisters in laws: Robert & Sue Morris of Maypearl, Texas; D.C. & Clea Morris of Texarkana, Texas; and sister in law: Maxine Morris of Milford, Texas; 4 Sisters and brothers in law: Marie Shelton of Sardis, Texas, Dollie & Frankie Greeson of Venus, Texas, Linda and David Allen of Grand Prarie, Texas and Jan and Joe Mrozek of Grand Prarie, Texas; Numerous Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Great Nephews and cousins and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 Brother: D.E. Morris, 1 Brother in law: Ardie Shelton.
Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, July 15, 2013 at the Maypearl Cemtery in Maypearl.
Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, July 14, 2013 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahchie.
Arrangements are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.

Tomasa Sanchez

Funeral services for Tomasa Sanchez, 64, of Stafford, are 11 a.m. Saturday April 4, 2009, at Bethel Ministry, 3015 Fifth St. in Stafford. Burial follows at Forest Park Westheimer, 12800 Westheimer Road in Houston. A celebration of life is 7 p.m. Friday, April 3, officiated by the Rev. Joe Torres.
Visitation is 9 a,m. to 9 p.m. Friday April 3, at Bethel Ministry.
Tomasa was born Nov. 28, 1944, in Bellaire, and she took her final journey Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at her home with her loving family by her side.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Lupe Delgado.
Tomasa is survived by her loving husband, Manuel E. Sanchez; sons: Joe Adam Sanchez, Raymond Sanchez and wife, Paulett, Ralph Sanchez and wife, Linda, and Elih Sanchez; brothers: Paul, Daniel and Joe Delgado; sisters: Lola, Lucy, Margaret and Petra Delgado; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and other numerous loving family members and friends.
