BARRON Anthony Leslie (Tony), aged 69 years, of Middleton Tyas, died on October 22 after a long illness courageously borne. Deeply loved and loving husband of Rosemary and devoted father to Spencer and Nigel. Funeral service at St. Michael and All Angels' Church, Middleton Tyas on Monday, October 31 at 1.30 p.m., followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please. Friends please meet at the church.

BARTLETT October 21, Kathleen May, aged 93 years, in the care of Barrington Lodge Home, Bishop Auckland. Dearly loved wife of the late Harry, much loved mother of Judith and Margaret, mother-in-law to Ronnie, much loved grandmother of Paul and Susan, also dearly loved great-grandmother of John, Joe, Emily, Liam and Ben. Will friends please meet at Darlington Crematorium for service on Monday, October 31 at 1.15 p.m. By request, family flowers only please.

BEETHAM October 23 (peacefully) at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, of Newton Aycliffe. Margaret (nee Bowtell), aged 74 years, beloved wife of Kenneth, much loved mother of Janet and Kathryn, grandmother of Jessica, also a dearly loved sister of John and the late Kevin and Peter. Funeral Tuesday, November 1. Will friends please meet 10.15 a.m. for service in the West Cemetery Chapel, Darlington, followed by cremation. No flowers by request. Donations to the Pakistan Earthquake Appeal.

BELL October 23 (peacefully at home), of Castle Eden. Ebsworthy (Ebb), aged 81 years, beloved husband of the late Margaret Audrey (nee Corps), dearly loved father of Carol, Gillian and Denise, dearest father-in-law and a much loved grandad. Cortege leaving residence Friday at 10.20 a.m. Friends please meet at St. James' Church for service at 10.30 a.m., followed by interment in the churchyard.

Cortege leaving her son's residence Tuesday at 2.35 p.m. Friends please meet at Trimdon Station Methodist Church for service at 2.45 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham.

BOWES October 24, peacefully in hospital, of Town End, Thirsk, formerly of Balk. Peter, aged 52 years, beloved husband of Suzanne, loving father of Elaine Ann and Mark William, grandad to Chloe, dear son of Rene and brother to Brian, Carol and Andrew and dearest uncle. The funeral service will be held at St. Mary's Church, Bagby on Monday, October 31 at 1.00 p.m., followed by cremation. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory may be made to Ainderby Ward, The Friarage Hospital, Northallerton.

BRIER Geoffrey, after a long illness, passed away peacefully on October 22 in Southwoods Nursing Home, formerly Landlord of The Crosby. He will be sadly missed by his loving family and many friends. Funeral service will be held at Darlington Crematorium at 2.45 p.m on Wednesday October 26.

CLAYTON Mary, aged 82 years, of Richmond (formerly of Sedgefield), died peacefully in hospital on October 18. Much loved mum of Lynn, Pam and Jill and a dear mother-in-law, loving grandmother and great-grandmother. Funeral service at Richmond Methodist Church on Thursday, October 27 at 2.15 p.m. followed by private cremation. Friends please meet at the church. Lily, aged 84 years, beloved wife of the late Mark, loving mam of Joan, Norma and Jillian, mother-in-law of Tom, Bill, Terry and Colin, dearly loved gran of Joanne, Mark, John, Helen and Mark. Friends please meet for service and cremation at Durham Crematorium on Thursday, November 3 at 2.00 p.m. Friends welcome for refreshments at Newhouse Club afterwards.

Colin, aged 67 years, beloved husband of Florence, a dear father of Susan, Geoffrey, Alison and Christine, a dear brother of Robert, also a much loved father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather. CONLIN Mona, aged 89 years, of Copley Bent, passed away quietly and peacefully in Bishop Auckland General Hospital on October 23. Beloved wife of the late James Conlin, much loved mother of Barry, loving nana of David, Stephen and Alice and a dear sister. Funeral service in St. John's Church, Lynesack on Tuesday, November 1 at 1.30 p.m., followed by interment in the Cemetery. Friends please meet at the Church.

COX Eleanor Sinclair, aged 93 years of Middleton Tyas, died peacefully at The Terrace Care Home, Richmond on October 25. Beloved wife of the late Geoffrey, much loved mother of Sylvia and Peter and a dear mother-in-law and loving grandmother. Funeral service at St Michael and All Angels' Church, Middleton Tyas on Thursday, November 3 at 1.45 p.m., followed by private cremation. Friends please meet at the Church. FENWICK William, also known as 'Billy the Singer', died Saturday, October 15, aged 61 years, a real character who will be much missed and a friend of many in Wolsingham. FULLERTON Harry, aged 88 years, formerly of North-allerton, died peacefully at The Abbey Care Village, Scorton on October 22. GIBB Winifred May (Winnie), aged 82 years, formerly of Brompton-on-Swale and Richmond, died peacefully at Maple Lodge, Scotton on October 21. Dearly loved wife of the late David and mother of Paddy and Winnie. Requiem Mass at St. Joseph and St. Francis Xavier R.C.
