THE HONORABLE WALTER J. SWIETLIK

Our beloved husband and father, Walter Swietlik, was born to Eternal Life April 21, 2005 at the age of 70. He was born in Milwaukee on April 20, 1935, son of the late Francis and Marie Czerwinski Swietlik. He moved to Port Washington to start his law career and lived in Fredonia for the past 25 years.

Walter was married to Barbara (nee Burbach) on July 11, 1959 in Milwaukee. Together they enjoyed traveling, golf, and spending time with their children and grandchildren. He was a loving father to Walt Jr. (Kelly) Swietlik of Cedarburg, Susan (Fernando) Bermeo of Ecuador, Sally (John) Payne of Kansas City and Michael (Therese) Swietlik of Cedarburg and “Grampy” to nine adoring grandchildren. He is further survived by two brothers Frank (Phyllis) Swietlik of Brookfield and John (Joanne) Swietlik of Mequon, two sisters Dorothy (Dr. Tom) Puchner of Menomonee Falls and Marie Swietlik of Mequon and one sister in law Clare (the late Joseph) Swietlik of Whitefish Bay.

Walter graduated from Marquette University High School, Marquette University and Marquette Law School. He was a proud supporter of his alma maters and especially enjoyed keeping in touch with his classmates. After graduating from Law School, Walter began his career as an attorney in Port Washington. He later served as District Attorney for Ozaukee County, was in private practice, and was a Circuit Court Judge for Ozaukee County for 23 years before his retirement in 2002.

Walter will be remembered for his generous heart, strong devotion to his family, and love of life. He was a friend. a mentor, and a devoted Catholic who lived his life according to his faith.

He was a member of Holy Rosary Parish, the Port Washington-Saukville Rotary Club, the Wisconsin Bar Association, Ozaukee County Bar Association, and the Knights of Columbus.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 25, 10 AM at Holy Rosary Parish, Holy Cross Chapel, 5330 Hwy. B, Belgium. Burial will be in St. Mary’s cemetery, Port Washington. Visitation Sunday from 4-8 PM at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Marquette University High School, Borja Jesuit High School in Ecuador or charity of choice appreciated.

Victoria L. Ungart “Vicki”

Mrs. Victoria “Vicki” Ungart, age 57 years of the Town of Saukville, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2005 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in West Bend. She was born on October 13, 1947in Milwaukee, daughter of Edward and Virginia Warych Erchull. On December 20, 1971 she married James Ungart at St. Andrews Church in Milwaukee. Vicki worked as a pediatric nurse in the Ozaukee county area for over 20 years. Vicki was a member and co-founder of Angels of the Battlefield Civil War Reenactment Group. She loved spending time with her family, pediatric nursing, and doing Civil War reenactments. She is survived by her husband James and son Jason both of the Twon of Saukville, her step-children Jimmy (Cindy) Ungart of Canton, OH and Julie (Sam) Poto of Canton, OH, 5 grandchildren Randy, Kristina, Jimmy, Jennifer and Jessica. She is further survived by 2 sisters Fran (Bruce) Janczak of New Berlin and Kat (Darek Zurawski) Morrow of Franklin, 1 brother Edward (Christine) Erchull, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, and 2 children Jamie and Sarah. Funeral services will be held on Monday April 25, 2005 7 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington, with Debbie Hamm, Minister of Care of the Quad-Parish Cluster officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral Home Monday from 4 PM until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested.

Dennis L. Koller

Dennis Leslie Koller: Age 56, of rural Marengo, WI, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at his residence. Dennis was born Jan. 25, 1949 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Donald A. and Ida A. (Gutsmiedl) Koller. He grew up on the east side of Milwaukee with his seven sisters, Gloria, Nancy, Lois, Eileen, Beverly, Gerry and Karen.

Dennis entered the military in 1966 and served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam through 1969. After the Army, Dennis tried his hand at a few trades before settling on his profession in the Heating and Air Conditioning business through Local #18 Sheet Metal Workers Union. He was proud of his work at Auer Heating and Air Conditioning. The job he was most proud of was his work as a member of the team that built Miller Stadium for the Milwaukee Brewers.

Dennis was married for 28 years to his former wife, Debbie and had three beautiful children, Timothy, Jeremy and Mariah. They were his heart and soul. Although he didn’t always show it, he was very proud of all three of them. He moved his family to Saukville, WI in 1985 where he enjoyed raising his family and loved his home. He then was blessed with four grandchildren, Justin, Johanna, Georgette and Donald James. They easily learned what a soft heart he had for kids and made the most of it. Dennis was not only a loving and exceptional father and grandfather, he had a very big heart and was always willing to help whenever he could for a lot of people.

He was an avid fisherman and looked forward to his days on the pier in Port Washington for smelt fishing or angling. In the winter his favorite pastime was ice fishing. He also had a passion for hunting; anything from small game, to fowl, to large game. He felt so at peace when he was out on his land by Marengo.

Dennis was survived by his mother Ida A. Koller; his children Timothy (Heather), Jeremy and Mariah; his grandchildren Justin, Johanna, Georgette and Donald James and his former wife Debbie. He was also the beloved brother to Gloria (Michael) Czaplewski, Nancy (the late Gary) Rands, Lois (the late Larry) Bielinski, Eileen (Keith) Kosanke, Beverly (Steven) Krause, Gerry (Paul) Gliszinski and Karen (Mark) St. George; and former brother-in-law to Larry Heffner, Dale Heffner, Wendy (Donald) Krueger, Steven (Jane) Heffner, Jill (Dana) Jaeger and Lori (David) Kolaga. He was also survived by many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald A. Koller.

A Memorial Service will take place on Sunday, April 24, 2005 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave, Port Washington, WI.

Richard E. Elbe

Mr. Dick Elbe, of Cedar Court in Port Washington, passed away at Heritage Nursing Home in Port early Thursday morning, April 14, 2005. He was 77 years old. Dick was born on July 19, 1927 in Sheboygan, son of Edward and Melitta Schmidt Elbe. After graduating from high school, Mr. Elbe took on an apprenticeship as a photo engraver at Commercial Engraving Company in Sheboygan before joining the US Army in 1948. After leaving service he was united in marriage with Carol Heronymus in Sheboygan on October 3, 1954. The couple moved to Milwaukee and then to Port Washington in 1969. Dick most recently had worked as a photo engraver for Western Publishing Company in Racine, retiring in 1996 after 10 years on the job. He was a member of the Graphic Communication International Union Local M577, a past member of the Sheboygan Community Players where he participated in many plays between 1949-1957, and a current member of the Port Washington Senior Citizens Club where he enjoyed shooting in the pool league. Mr. Elbe also enjoyed traveling, playing poker and was an avid reader. He is survived by his wife, Carol, of Port Washington, 1 daughter, Lisa Elbe of Altadena, CA, 1 brother, John Elbe of Sheboygan and 1 sister-in-law, Doris Braeger, also of Sheboygan. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Services and Military Rites will be held at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington, on Monday, April 18th at 4PM. Rev. James Eggert will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home Monday from 3-4 PM.

William Prom

Mr. William Prom, of Marion Heights Home in Port Washington, passed away at Columbia-St. Mary’s Ozaukee Campus early Sunday morning, April 10, 2005. He was 98 years old. Bill was born in the Town of Belgium on June 19, 1906, don of Peter and Christina Roeser Prom. On April 6, 1929 he was united in marriage with Josephine Lesch. She preceded him in death in1988. Bill worked in the Shipping Department at International Harvester in Milwaukee until he took a job in Assembly at Simplicity where he worked for 19 years before retiring in 1978. Mr. Prom was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Port Washington. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family. He is survived by 3 sons: Sylvester (Madeline) Prom of Port Washington, Melvin (Margaret) Prom of Port Washington and James (Barbara) Prom of Altmonte Springs, FL. He is further survived by 19 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, close friend Sophie Nell, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by wife Josephine, daughter Diane, 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, April 12, 7PM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Port Washington. Father Allan Sommer will officiate. He will be placed next to his wife in the parish cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the church Tuesday from 5:30-7PM. Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington is assisting the family.

La Verne M. Schneider

Mrs. La Verne Schneider, of Gables on the Pond in Random Lake, passed away at her residence surrounded by her family early Sunday morning, April 10, 2005. She was 83 years old. La Verne was born on November 18, 1921 in Belgium, daughter of John and Mary Birenbaum Jacoby. On October 6, 1945 she was united in marriage with Michael Schneider at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Church. The couple farmed in the Town of Fredonia from 1958 until 1974. Mrs. Schneider was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, Random Lake and enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching, jig saw puzzles, playing cards and gardening. She was a cat lover and enjoyed children and gardening. She is survived by her husband Michael, of Random Lake, 2 daughters: Virginia (Gary) Held of Batavia and Jane (Charles Steitz) Schneider of Okinawa, 3 sons: Robert (Barb) of Williams Bay, WI, Gerald (Marydonna) of San Dimas, CA and Gary (Mary) of Belgium, thirteen grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She is further survived by 2 sisters: Barbara Schommer of Belgium and Elvira Michalek of Plymouth, 2 sisters in law Alice Jacoby of Random Lake and Mildred Jacoby of Belgium, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one daughter Diane and two brothers Raymond and Peter Jacoby. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Wednesday, April 13, 2005 6:30PM at Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, St. Nicholas Chapel, Dacada. Father Richard Cerpich will officiate. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH Wednesday from 3:30 – 6:30 pm. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.. Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington, is assisting the family.

Gladwin R. ”Duke” Krummey

Mr. Duke Krummey, formerly of the Saukville, Port Washington and Cedarburg areas, passed away March 27, 2005 at Cedar Lake Campus in West Bend. He was 90 years old. Duke was born in Niagra, Michigan on July 20, 1914, son of Joseph “Elmer” and Ruby Shallman Krummey. He enlisted in the US Army in 1939 and left the service in 1945 as a Master Sergeant. On September 6, 1945 he was united in marriage with Audrey Mays in Wausaukee, WI. She preceded him in death on December 10, 1989. Duke was a journeyman mason and bricklayer for many years. He was a proud member of the National Rifle Assoc., Great Lakes Arms Collectors and the Waukesha Gun Club. He also enjoyed woodworking. Mr. Krummey is survived by his three children: Marilyn (Tom) Cebrowski of West Bountiful City, Utah, Pat (Kenny) Spiegelberg of Pickett, WI, and Michael (Lynn) Krummey of Saukville. He is further survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 1 brother-in-law John Salamonski of Green Bay, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, 1 sister Joyce Salamonski, and 3 brothers: Jack, Irving and Lloyd Krummey. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2005, 1PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington. Rev. Don Zahurance will officiate. Interment will take place in Zue Ruehe cemetery in Cedarburg with Military Rites. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Saturday from 12-1PM.

CAROLYN M. SCHULTZ

Mrs. Carolyn Schultz, age 76 years of Lasata Care Center, formerly of Grafton died Thursday evening, March 24, 2005 at Lasata Care Center where she had been a resident for the past two years. She was born December 5, 1928 in New London, WI, daughter of the late Emil and Margaret Chasser Buchholtz. On November 24, 1951 she married Dennis “Dan” Schultz at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Milwaukee. Carolyn was an avid reader and excellent seamstress and enjoyed making clothing for her daughters. Survivors include her husband Dennis “Dan” Schultz of Grafton, three daughters Mary Callahan of Fitchburg, MA, Christine (John Moha) Schultz of Jackson, WI and Kathleen (John) Valenti of Menonomee Falls, one grandson Harrison Callahan, two sisters Inez Czerwinski of South Milwaukee and Dorothy Buchholtz of Bay View, one sister in law Lois Breister, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Barbara Wunsch and Margaret Neumann. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday evening, March 29, 6:30 PM at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church, 1375 Covered Bridge Road, Cedarburg. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery, Milwaukee. Visitation at the CHURCH Tuesday from 5-6:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Ozaukee Humane Society appreciated. The family wishes to thank Dr. Daniel Duffy and the staff at Lasata Care Center for the excellent care given to Carolyn.

Edward J. Paulus

Mr. Edward Paulus, of Michael Street in Belgium, passed away at his residence late Wednesday morning, March 23, 2005. He was 72 years old. Ed was born on October 14, 1932 in Fond du Lac, son of Edward N. and Helen Heimann Paulus. Mr. Paulus served in the United States Navy from 1955 until 1957, based out of San Diego, CA. On June 18th, 1955 he was united in marriage with Elvira Klein at St. Rose Catholic Church in Fredonia. The couple farmed in the Town of Belgium until 1987. Ed also drove a rural Belgium mail route from 1985 –1995. After he retired he drove truck for the Kettle- Lakes Co-op part time. Mr. Paulus was a member of Holy Cross Parish, serving on the parish council, building committee for the new church and held offices in the Holy Name Society and the Catholic Knights. He was a member of the Belgium Lions Club, where he had held the positions of president, secretary, zone chairman and director. He served on the Plan Commission for the Town of Belgium for many years, had been the secretary of the Fredonia Cooperative Exchange, treasurer of Milwaukee Milk Producers Co-op, had been active in the Dairy Council of Wisconsin, National Milk Producers Federation, Central Milk Producers Co-op, Lakeshore Federated Dairy Co-op and the Farm Bureau. He loved to bowl, golf and play sheepshead, belonging to many leagues throughout his lifetime. His favorite hobby however was helping his three sons. He is survived by his wife, Elvira, a daughter, Kathy (Marty) Bechtel of South St. Paul, MN, 3 sons: Mike (Lori) Paulus of Fredonia, Tom (Bobbie) Paulus of Fredonia and John (Cindy) Paulus of Belgium. He is further survived by 11 grandchildren: Andy, Becky, Tiffy, Carla, Mitch, Joe, Valerie, Melanie, Ashlie, Courtnie and Brittanie, 1 sister, Joan Hughes of Fredonia, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister Marilyn Paulus Klein and 1 nephew James Klein. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 28, 7PM from the Eernisse Funeral Home, 171 N. Royal Ave., Belgium, going to Holy Rosary Parish, Holy Cross Chapel, for Mass of Christian Burial at 7:30 PM. Fr. Richard Fleischman, Fr. James Vojtik and Fr. James Ernster will officiate. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home Monday from 4-7PM. The family asks people to please donate blood at your local blood bank in Ed’s memory.

Viola M. Hubing

Mrs. Viola Hubing, of North Street in Belgium, passed away at Gables on the Pond in Random Lake, early Monday evening, March 21, 2005. She was 89 years old. Viola was born in the Town of Port Washington on July 29, 1915, daughter of Nicholas and Susan Bley Weyker. On July 23, 1938 Viola was united in marriage with Henry Hubing at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Port Washington. He preceded her in death on January 6th of this year. Mrs. Hubing was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Belgium where she was a member of the Christian Mothers and was also a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters. She was a former Den Mother for Cub Scouts, did many crafts, crocheting, tatting and quilting and enjoyed spending time taking care of her family. Mrs. Hubing is survived by 1 son Al (Diana) Hubing of Okauchee, 3 daughters: Nancy (Michael) Maes of Manitowoc, Marjorie (Michael) McCormick of Reedsburg, Mary (Doug) DeGroot of Lago Vista, TX and 1 daughter-in-law Maggie (Wayne) Graff of Fredonia, 21 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by 2 sisters: Daisy Korchunoff of Denver, CO and Marie Reimesch of Oak Creek, 4 brothers: Raymond (Theresa) of Greenfield, George (Helen) of Greenfield, Joseph of Ripon and Clarence Weyker of Rice Lake, 2 sisters-in-law Lorraine Weyker of Port Washington and Hannah Weyker of Belgium, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry, 1 son, Joseph, 2 brothers: Victor and William Weyker and 2 sisters: Sally Jung and infant Barbara Weyker. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church, Lake Church, on Monday, March 28, 2005 at 4:00 PM. Father Jim Vojtik will officiate. She will be laid to rest in the parish cemetery at a private burial service. The family will receive visitors Monday at the CHURCH from 2-4PM. The family suggests memorials to St. Mary Catholic Church.

BERNICE O. EMMER

Mrs. Bernice Emmer, of Martin Ave. in Fredonia, passed away at her home in Fredonia surrounded by her family Friday evening, March 18th, 2005. She was 82 years old. Bernice was born on the family farm in the Town of Belgium on August 4, 1922, daughter of Lawrence and Mary Schmit Straus. She was united in marriage with Lawrence Emmer at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lake Church on September 28, 1940. The couple moved to the Fredonia area in 1946. Bernice was a member of Holy Rosary Parish, St. Rose Chapel, Fredonia were she was a dedicated volunteer. She was a member of the Christian Mother’s Society and the choir. She was in charge of the kitchen work and ran the church dinners for many years as well as helping with the craft fairs and bake sales. She enjoyed handcrafts of all sorts, needlepoint and quilling. Bernice is survived by 2 daughters: Connie Kriewaldt of Fredonia and Penny Hartwig of Random Lake, 1 sister Marie (Raymond) Broecker of West Bend, 7 grandchildren: Jesse, Janine, Mary, Larry, Paul, Amy and Katy, 7 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence, 1 daughter, Mary Ann, 1 son, Paul (the late Marie), 2 brothers: Raymond and Valentine Straus and 4 sisters: Sr. Viola Straus OP, Viola Emmer, Martha Ries and Margaret Depiesse. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Wednesday, March 23, 2005, 7PM at Holy Rosary Parish, St. Rose Chapel, Fredonia. Father Dick Fleischmann will officiate. Inurnment will take place in the parish cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the church Wednesday from 5-7PM. Memorials are suggested to the St. Rose Chapel General Fund or to Ozaukee County Special Olympics.

Jerome A. Schwabenlender

Jerry Schwabenlender, of Cottage Drive in the Town of Friendship, formerly of Belgium, passed away at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac Monday evening, March 14, 2005. He was 80 years old. Jerry was born on September 27, 1924 in St. John, WI, son of Joseph and Theresa Gruber Schwabenlender. On June 19, 1948 he was united in marriage to Margaret C. Schomisch in Chilton, WI. The couple moved to Belgium in 1949 where they farmed and operated the Belgium Elevator, Feed Mill and Fertilizer Plant for the next 45 years. During this time Jerry was very involved with community groups. He was a charter member and past president of the Belgium Lions Club, a past-president of the Belgium Fire Department, and active in the Catholic Order of Foresters, 4-H, Boy Scouts and the St. Mary Lake Church Parish. In 1997 Jerry and Maggie retired on the lake in Fond du Lac and are members of Presentation Catholic Church. Together they traveled throughout the United States in their RV. Jerry also enjoyed woodworking, fishing and gardening. He is survived by his wife Maggie, 4 daughters: Nancy Opitz of Cedar Grove, Jo (Mark) Johnson of Mequon, Kay (Tracy) Van Den Berg of Prior Lake, MN and Ruth (Jeff) Dudarenke of Fond du Lac, and 2 sons: James (Mari) and David (Sherry) Schwabenlender, both of Cedar Grove. He is further survived by 12 grandchildren and 1 brother, Robert (Urana) Schwabenlender of New Franken, WI. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 10AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, Lake Church. Fr. James Vojtik will officiate. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. The family will receive visitors Tuesday, March 22nd at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 171 N. Royal Ave. in Belgium, from 4-8PM and again Wednesday, March 23 at the church from 9-10AM. Memorials are suggested to Mt. Calvary High School in Jerry’s name.

HENRY C. EIBS

Henry “Hank” Eibs, age 72 years of Pharr, TX, formerly of Port Washington died Monday, March 14, 2005 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen, TX. He was born March 4, 1933 in Cushing, WI, son of Edward and Gertrude Fisk Eibs. While serving in the US Army he married Ruby Andersen on May 9, 1953 in Milwaukee. He worked as an electrician for Globe Union/Johnson Controls for over thirty years. While living in Port Washington he was a charter member of Christ The King Lutheran Church and also enjoyed playing cards and camping. Survivors include his wife Ruby, five children Randy (Judy) Eibs of Fredonia, Dawn (Chris) McCormick of Belgium, Dona (Norm) Winter of Random Lake, Rick (Joann) Eibs and Jeffrey (Holly) Eibs both of Port Washington, fifteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one sister Marguerite Chinander of St. Croix Falls, special friends Frank Benson and Mary Lou Westerbeke, his special companion Malady. other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Donald. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2 PM at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington with Pastor Alice Horton of Christ The King Lutheran Church in Port Washington officiating. Burial will be in Union cemetery, Port Washington. Friends may call at the Eernisse Funeral Home Saturday from 11 AM until time of services at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated.

Kim Larsen

Kim Larsen, age 46 years of Saukville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 12, 2005 at her residence. Kim was born on July 5, 1959 in Port Washington, daughter of Donald Clarke and the late Jeannine Bradley Clarke. On October 3, 1994 she married Terry Larsen at Pilgrim Church in Brookfield. He preceded her in death in 2002. Kim enjoyed watching NASCAR, and her favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt . Kim enjoyed keeping a clean home, and also was a very good cook. She is survived by her daughter Michelle Selensky of Cedarburg, and son Jonathon Selensky of Saukville, her father Donald (Linda) Clarke of Grafton, 1 sister Kathi (Greg) Schmidt of Port Washington, 3 brothers Ralph (Cindy) Clarke of West Bend, Michael (Krysta) Clarke of Grafton, and Jack (Rae Ann) Clarke of Fredonia. She is further survived by her grandmother Gladys Clarke of Bryan, OH, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Terry and her mother Jeannine. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 15th 7:30 PM at Our Savoir Lutheran Church 1332 Arrowhead Road in Grafton with Rev. Mark Wagner officiating. Burial will be in Holden East cemetery, Port Washington. Instate at the Church Tuesday from 6:00 until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family appreciated. Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington is assisting the family.

Lloyd A. Habersetzer

Mr. Lloyd Habersetzer, age 71 years of Grafton, died unexpectedly on Friday, March 11, 2005 at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital Ozaukee Campus in Mequon. He was born in Belgium, WI on June 30, 1033 son of the late Paul and Lillian Schmit Habersetzer. Lloyd served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. On February 20, 1954 he married Mardel L’Anglois at Mother of Good Council in Milwaukee. Mr. Habersetzer owned and operated his own excavating business for many years. He was a member of the SnoDrifters Snowmobile Club and the Monticello Snowmobile Club, the Saukville Gun Club, the Newburg Sportsman Club, and the Saukville Moose Lodge. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and many other outdoor activities. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Mardel of Grafton, son Gary (Mary) Habersetzer of Grafton, Sonya (Ken) Garbe of Sussex, 2 grandchildren Elizabeth Walsh and Tara Garbe, and 1 great-granddaughter Angela Luedke. He is further survived by brother-in-law Dale (Bev) L’Anglois of Port Washington, sisters-in-law Marion Habersetzer of TN, and Phyllis (Larry) Bionda of CA, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, son Dean, and brother Orville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 11 AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Grafton, with Father Michael Barrett officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter’s cemetery, Town of Farmington. Visitation will be Tuesday March 15th 4-8 PM, at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington, and again on Wednesday from 10-11 AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
