JAMIE D. ALT
CABINS, W.Va. - Jamie D. Alt, 20, of Cabins, died Tuesday, May 26, 1998, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on May 16.
Born June 23, 1977, at Clarksburg, he was the son of Charles F. and Loretta C. Alt of Petersburg. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Frank and Mae Alt.

Jamie graduated from Petersburg High School in 1997. He was a member of Corner United Methodist Church, Cabins. He was employed with Advantage Foods LLC in Petersburg.

Surviving in addition to his parents are one sister, Shawna L. Moreland and husband Timothy, Burlington; maternal grandparents, Verda and Austin "Buck" Bennett, Cabins; and half brother, Charles F. "Chip" Alt II, Bridgewater, Va.

Friends will be received at the Schaeffer Funeral Home, Petersburg, on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Greg Rotruck officiating. Burial will be in the Lahmansville cemetery.

HETTIE F. EVANS
ELK GARDEN, W.Va. - Hettie F. Evans, 90, formerly of Elk Garden, passed away July 4, 1998, in Charlottesville, Va.
She was a daughter of the late Herbert and Lillie Oates Dawson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar L. Evans; and one son, Paul Evans.

She was a retired cook who worked at the Elk Garden School.

Surviving are one daughter, Delphia (Marc) Neil, of Waynesboro, Va.; two brothers, Howard Dawson, Elk Garden, and Leroy Dawson, Bayard; one sister, Nora Knotts, Kitzmiller, Md.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Burdock Funeral Home in Kitzmiller.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Roy O. Creech Jr. officiating.

Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.

TEDDIE J. DEVORE
RIDGELEY, W.Va. - Teddie J. DeVore, 68, of Ridgeley, died Monday, Jan. 26, 1998, at Memorial Hospital.
Born May 31, 1929, in Ellerslie, Md., he was the son of the late Harvey DeVore, Sr., and Edna M. (Transue) DeVore. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harvey DeVore, Jr., Frank DeVore; two sisters, Katherine Willard and Irene DeVore.

Mr. DeVore was retired from the CSX Corporation. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict. He was a member of Bethel Tabernacle Assembly of God Church.

Surviving are his wife, Betty Lee (Domer) DeVore; five sons, Raymond T. DeVore and wife, Patricia, Augusta, W.Va., David Wayne DeVore and wife, Teresa, Jewett, Texas, Richard L. DeVore, Cumberland, James M. DeVore, Ridgeley, A. Chris DeVore and wife, Lori, Mount Savage; one daughter, Tina M. Porter and husband, John, Moorefield, W.Va.; one step-son, Daniel Van Domer, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; one brother, Charles DeVore and wife, Pat, Baltimore; two sisters, Loretta M. Brodie, England, Ark., Rosie Humble, Castleberry, Fla.; and 17 grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, on Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at noon with the Rev. Darrell S. Tichinel officiating.

Interment will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale.

Military honors will be accorded by the Combined Veterans Honor Guard.

STANLEY M. CONSTABLE
MOOREFIELD, W.Va. - Stanley M. Constable, age 67, of Moorefield, passed away Saturday morning, May 9, 1998, at his residence.
Born April 12, 1931, in Hardy County, he was the son of the late Thomas W. and Bessie (Link) Constable. He was preceded in death by one brother; and one sister.

Mr. Constable was a member of the Moorefield Church of the Brethren. He was employed by John P. Halterman for 20 years, and most recently, before retirement, was employed by Herman Kesner.

Surviving are his wife, Maxine (Smith) Constable; one daughter, Brenda K. Miller, and husband, Tommy, Moorefield; one brother, Clarence Constable, Keyser; four sisters, Hazel Snyder and Arlene Adams, Keyser, Geraldine Hefner, Moorefield, Loretta Bergdoll, Purgitsville; and two granddaughters, Pamela and Crystal Miller.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 1998, at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with the Rev. Randy Ours officiating. Burial will follow at the Asbury cemetery in Bean Settlement.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 10, 1998, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Smith, Raymond Hines, Robert J. Long, Gary Shirk, Felix Poling and Herman Kesner.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Fraley Funeral Home, Moorefield.

MARY F. EVANS
KEYSER, W.Va. - Mary F. Evans, 82, of Route 2, Box 12-A6, Keyser, died peacefully on Saturday morning, Sept. 12, 1998, at the home of her daughter, Sharon Orndorff.
Born March 3, 1916, in Keyser, she was a daughter of the late David Thornton Franklin Steedman and Bessie Estelle (Kelly) Steedman. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Melvin Evans on Jan. 4, 1954; one son, Franklin Louis Evans; two brothers, George David Steedman and Paul Kelly Steedman; and one granddaughter, Amy Sue Evans.

Mrs. Evans was a member of Mineral Baptist Church, Keyser, and was formerly employed in the Finishing Room at Westvaco, retiring with 20 years of service. She also was a member of the Cabin Run Homemakers.

Surviving are three daughters, Francis Louise von Hagel and husband, Les, Longmont, Colo., Sheila Ann Marts and husband, Ron, Olathe, Kan., Sharon Elizabeth Orndorff and husband, Eddie, Keyser; two sons, Melvin Stanley Evans and wife, Judy, Winfield, and Richard Vernon Evans, Las Vegas, Nev.; one brother, James Steedman, Keyser; three sisters, Katherine Jackson, Keyser, Louise Cooper, Gulf Breeze, Fla., Nancy Snyder, Falling Waters; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Smith Funeral Home, Keyser, on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jay West officiating.

Interment will be in the Cabin Run cemetery, Keyser.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer Research, Mineral County Chapter, c/o Farmers & Merchants Bank, 87 N. Main St., Keyser, WV 26726.

HARRY DALE "PICKY" DIXON
MOUNT STORM, W.Va. - Harry Dale "Picky" Dixon, age 30, died Sunday, March 15, 1998, as a result of an automobile accident on U.S. Route 50 east of Mount Storm.
Born Oct. 23, 1967, in Oakland, Md., he was a son of the late Anna Lambka Dixon.

"Picky" was an automobile mechanic at the Mount Storm Exxon station.

Surviving are his father, Herman Dixon, of Mount Storm; and his step-mother, Wink Dixon. He also is survived by two brothers, James Dixon and wife, Meridith, Mannington, W.Va., and Herman Richard Dixon and wife, Tammy, Mount Storm; one sister, Edna Jean Dixon, Keyser, W.Va.; three uncles, Gary Lambka and wife, Dorothy, Mount Storm, Neil Lambka, Mount Storm, and Gene Lambka and wife, Pauline, Elk Garden, W.Va.; an aunt, Wilda Lambka, Mount Storm; his maternal grandmother, Helen Lambka, Mount Storm; five nephews; and one niece.

Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, Kitzmiller, Md.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Mount Storm Presbyterian Church with the Rev. David Watterworth and the Rev. Charles Pollock officiating.

Interment will be in the Idleman cemetery, Mount Storm.

JAMES M. DICKINSON
FORT ASHBY, W.Va. - James M. Dickinson, 62, of 116 Eric Lane, Fort Ashby, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1998, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
Born Oct. 1, 1936, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Albert J. "Abe" Dickinson and the late Opal L. (Thomas) Dickinson. He was also preceded in death by a brother, William H. Dickinson.

Mr. Dickinson was a pharmacist for C.V.S. Drug Store in Romney. He was a member of the Ali Ghan Shrine Club, Cumberland, and the Trinity United Methodist Church in Fort Ashby.

He is survived by his wife, JoAnn (Kidwell) Dickinson; two daughters, Dr. Kim Dickinson and husband, Kevin Smith, Los Angeles, Calif., Miss Kelly Dickinson, Atlanta, Ga.; one brother, Richard L. Dickinson, Arlington, Va.; one sister, Susan Andrews and husband, Leo R., Jr., Arlington.

Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Dallas Forren officiating.

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
