RUTH "SISSY" FUNKHOUSER
MOOREFIELD, W.Va. - Ruth "Sissy" Funkhouser, age 70, of Moorefield, passed away Sunday evening, April 26, 1998, at the Grant County Nursing Home where she had been a resident since January 1997.
Miss Funkhouser was born July 8, 1927, in Moorefield, the daughter of the late Roy S. and Lizzie (Pennington) Funkhouser. Also preceding her in death were one sister and four brothers.
Surviving are two brothers, Paul E. "Toad" Funkhouser and William R. "Billy" Funkhouser, both of Moorefield; and many nieces and nephews.
Sissy loved holidays, visiting with her family, playing Bingo, and little children.
Friends may call anytime after 8 a.m. on Tuesday at the Elmore-Chambers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends there from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, April 29, at 2 p.m. at the Elmore-Chambers Funeral Home with Pastors Mel and Lisa Fike officiating. Burial will follow at the Olivet cemetery in Moorefield. Pallbearers will be Warren Staley, David Staley, Mark Staley, Jerry George, Arlie Funk, Jerry Funkhouser and Jeff Bishop.

EVELYN V. LLEWELLYN
GILMORE - Evelyn Virginia (Beaman) Llewellyn, 80, of 20116 Quinn St., S.W., Frostburg, died Saturday, May 30, 1998, at Egle Nursing Home, Lonaconing, where she was a patient for three years.
Born at Nikep on Aug. 14, 1917, she was a daughter of the late William Beaman and Emma (Brown) Beaman Bostjancic. Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Frank Bostjancic and Toni Bostjancic; and one sister, Christina DeVault.
Mrs. Llewellyn attended the First Assembly of God Church, Detmold, she was a member of Woodmen of the World, Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W., Cumberland, Auxiliary #141, Cumberland, Senior Citizens of Georges Creek, and Gilmore Civic Improvement Club.
Surviving are children, William David Llewellyn, Colony Heights, LaVale, Roger Lee Llewellyn, Cumberland, Ronald Eugene Llewellyn, Cumberland, Donna Virginia McKenzie, Gilmore, Donald Hiram Llewellyn, Waldorf, and Gilbert Francis Llewellyn, Annapolis; three sisters, Emma Catherine DeStefano, Ridgeley, W.Va., Thelma Blank, Mechanicsburg, Pa., and Glenrose McCutcheon, Moscow; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, P.A., on Tuesday, June 2, 1998, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 3, 1998, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Donald Webb officiating.
Interment will be at Frostburg Memorial Park, Frostburg.
THELMA V. KLINESTIVER
KEYSER, W.Va. - Thelma V. Klinestiver, 89, of 110 Southern Drive, Keyser, died Saturday, Dec. 19, 1998, at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser.
Born April 13, 1909, in Lonaconing, Md., she was the daughter of the late John A. and Mary Jane (Vaughan) Donald. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Gerould H. Klinestiver, on Feb. 22, 1998; and two brothers, John W. and Herbert Donald.
Mrs. Klinestiver was a graduate of Central High School, Lonaconing, attended Potomac State College, and graduated from Fairmont State Teachers College. She was a Mineral County elementary school teacher and taught eighth grade history at Keyser High School.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, member and Past Worthy Matron Alkire Chapter 10 Order of the Eastern Star, Retired Teachers Association, United Methodist Women, Mineral County Republican Women's Club, Mineral County Senior Citizens, and Keyser Women's Club.
Surviving are three sons, Dr. Donald G. Klinestiver and wife Ann, Robert L. Klinestiver and wife Geseil, all of Milton, W.Va., and Frederick Klinestiver, Keyser; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser, on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1998, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Samuel E. Starling Jr. officiating.
Interment will be in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
Alkire Chapter 10 OES will hold memorial services at the funeral home on Monday, Dec. 21, 1998, at 7:15 p.m.

ADDIE M. LLOYD
RIDGELEY, W.Va. - Addie Marie Lloyd, 85, of Ridgeley, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 1998, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland.
Born Feb. 5, 1913, in Shenandoah, Va., she was the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Elizabeth (Parrish) Manning. She also was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Lloyd; one son, James A. Lloyd; one daughter, Pauline M. Norris; two brothers, George and Thomas Manning; and one sister, Iva Hernandus.
Mrs. Lloyd was a homemaker. She was a member of Graceland Baptist Church SBC, Short Gap.
Surviving are two sons, William M. Lloyd and wife Nancy, Williamsport, Md., and Paul E. Lloyd, Short Gap; beloved nephews, Joseph Collins and wife Mary, Glen Burnie, Md., and Joseph Manning and wife Dot, Baltimore; 17 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10 a.m.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland.
WILLIAM T. HOTT
ROMNEY, W.Va. - William Taylor Hott, 70, of Romney, died Friday, July 17, 1998, at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Martinsburg.
Born Oct. 20, 1927, in Hampshire County, he was the son of the late William F. and Beatrice C. Davis Hott. William was raised by Ward and Hattie Clinedinst of Junction, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Hott was a Protestant by faith. He was a member of the Romney V.F.W., and the American Legion. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Dolores Jean Colebank Hott, Romney; one son, Chad T. Hott, Romney; one daughter, Alicia Lynne Roomsburg, Augusta, W.Va.; one sister, Dorothy C. Peters, Romney; one grandson, Cole Roomsburg, Augusta; one granddaughter, Chloe Roomsburg, Augusta.
Friends will be received at the Baldwin Funeral Home Inc., Romney, on Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the Baldwin Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. on Sunday with Pastor Joel Michael Porter officiating.
Cremation will follow, with inurnment in the Ebenezer cemetery at a later date.
DON F. HESSE
MAYSVILLE, W.Va. - Donnie Frederick Hesse, age 79, of Maysville, died Monday, Feb. 16, 1998, at his home in Maysville.
Born Feb. 21, 1918, in Maysville, he was the son of the late Albert F. Hesse and Angie (Smith) Hesse.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Tillie M. Judy and Susan Stonestreet; two brothers, John C. Hesse and Sampson S. Hesse.
Mr. Hesse was a lifetime farmer, and he retired from Westvaco and was a past caretaker for Stoney River Dam. He was a member of Davis Baptist Church on Jordon Run Road, Maysville. He graduated from St. John's Academy and attended Catherman's Business School, Cumberland, Md.
Surviving are, one sister, Catherine Hanlin, Scherr, W.Va.; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Flora Kessel, Keyser, W.Va.
Friends will be received at the Schaeffer Funeral Home, Petersburg, W.Va., on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Davis Baptist Church on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Paul Donaldson officiating.
