ANNA E. RIDDER
KEYSER, W.Va. - Anna Elizabeth Ridder, 90, of 1550 Beacon St., Keyser, died Wednesday, May 27, 1998, at the Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser.
Born Aug. 3, 1907, at Barton, Md., she was a daughter of the late James H. and Maude (Lashbaugh) Dawson. She also was preceded in death by two sisters, Edna Howard and Minta Ritchie.
Mrs. Ridder was a retired elementary school teacher in Allegany and Garrett counties and was a nursery school and kindergarten teacher in Mineral County. She was a graduate of Frostburg State College and was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Keyser.
Surviving are her husband, Harland D. Ridder, whom she married
on Jan. 7, 1937; one daughter, Kay Landes and husband Rick, Keyser; two grandchildren, Amy White and husband Shawn, Keyser, and Mark Landes and wife Wendy, Charlotte, N.C.; one great-grandson, Ethan; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Smith Funeral Home, Keyser, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Matthew Riegel officiating.
Interment will be in the Potomac Memorial Gardens.
JAMES A. RIGGLEMAN
DELRAY, W.Va. - James Allen Riggleman, 25, of DelRay, died Monday, March 9, 1998, at Hampshire Memorial Hospital.
Born May 1, 1972, in Meyersdale, Pa., he was the son of Nancy Kay Hersh and James Edward Riggleman and wife Denise.
Mr. Riggleman was a pressman for Century Graphics.
Surviving in addition to his parents are a very special friend, Carla Kennell and daughter Tiffany Renee, both of DelRay; maternal grandmother, Carolyn Butler, Meyersdale, Pa.; paternal grandmother, Lucy Riggleman, Ridgeley, W.Va.; two brothers, Michael Ray Riggleman, DelRay, and David Joe Riggleman, Yulee, Fla.; and one sister, Tiffany Renee Riggleman, Ridgeley.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Denny Michaels officiating.
DOROTHY O. RILEY
DAVIS, W.Va. - Dorothy Orro Riley, 83, of Davis, W.Va., passed away Jan. 4, 1998, at the Garrett County Memorial Hospital in Oakland.
She was born Dec. 5, 1914, in Baltimore, a daughter of the late Grover A. and Mary E. Moore Sharrer. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Fred Riley, in 1971; and one brother also preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Betty J. Callaghan, Columbia, Marilyn D. Roth, Oakland, and Carol S. Flippo, Stafford, Va.; two sisters, Jo Currens, Glen Arm, Md., and Marian Engles, Baltimore; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Riley was a housewife and was a lifelong member of the Davis United Methodist Church. She was a Sunday School teacher and a member of the choir.
Friends will be received at the Hinkle Funeral Home in Davis on Tuesday, Jan. 6, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home chapel on Wed., Jan. 7, at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. J.J. Johnson officiating.

GEORGE E. RILEY
PIEDMONT, W.Va. - George E. Riley, 61, of Piedmont, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 1998, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.
Born Jan. 26, 1937, at Hampshire, W.Va., he was the son of the late George and Mary (Daugherty) Riley. He was also preceded in death by a son, George "Joey" Riley Jr.; four sisters, Pearl, Hilda, Janet and Joan; and one brother, Freddie.
Mr. Riley was a school bus driver for Mineral County Schools for 34 years. He was a member of the Keyser Moose #662.
Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Nellie "Snap" (Hoover) Riley; three sons, Virgil Riley and wife, Melissa, of Fountain, Fred Riley and wife, Lori, Luke, Md., and David Riley and wife, Kim, Keyser; one daughter, Brenda Riley, Piedmont; 10 grandchildren, Virgil Jr., Christopher, Andrew, Linae, Brittani, Kelci, Derrike, Jason, Carrie and Brandi; four sisters, Wilma Maynard and husband, Russell of Cross, Titial Mayhew, Westernport, Md., Darlene Helmick and husband, Roger, New Creek, and Charlotte Cavey and husband, Darrell, Rawlings, Md.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Steffan Carr officiating.
Interment will be in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
JEFFREY RINEHART SR.
MARTINSBURG, W. Va. - Jeffrey Scott Rinehart Sr., 39, of Martinsburg, formerly of Cumberland, died Sunday, Oct. 18, 1998, at the Martinsburg Veterans Hospital.
Born May 15, 1959, in Cumberland, he was the son of John Joseph Rinehart Sr., Cumberland, and the late Patricia A. (Slonaker) Rinehart. Mr. Rinehart was preceded in death by one brother, John Joseph Rinehart Jr., in 1996.
Mr. Rinehart was a 1977 graduate of Fort Hill High School. He was medically discharged from the U.S. Navy in 1987, and he was a member of the Melvin United Methodist Church.
In addition to his father, surviving are his stepmother, Bertha A. (Davies) Rinehart; two sons, Jeffrey S. Rinehart Jr., and wife, Sandra, Shawn Rinehart, all of Virginia Beach, Va.; two brothers, Gregory Rinehart, Washington, D.C., Kevin Rinehart, Cumberland; one sister, Tammy Rinehart, at home; two stepbrothers, Michael Marvin and wife, Cathy, Flintstone, Thomas Marvin and wife, Tereasa, Lonaconing; his stepgrandmother, Billie C. Davies, Cumberland; two granddaughters, Nicole A. Rinehart and Kayla M. Rinehart; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

LESTER E. ROCKWELL
SHORT GAP, W.Va. - Lester E. Rockwell, 82, of Moran Manor Nursing Home, formerly of Short Gap, died Monday, Feb. 9, 1998, at Memorial Hospital.
Born Feb. 7, 1916, in Jones Springs, W.Va., he was the son of the late Ernest Oliver and Amanda (Miller) Rockwell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers; and three sisters.
Mr. Rockwell was retired from Jack's Tire Service in Baltimore. Locally he had been employed by the B&O; Railroad, the Kelly Springfield Tire Company and the Celanese.
He is survived by two sons, Ernest L. Rockwell and wife, Joyce, of Cumberland, and Richard H. Rockwell and wife, Mary Jane, of Short Gap; two brothers, Charles Rockwell and wife, Betty, of Loysville, Pa., and Howard Rockwell and wife, Loraine, of Macon, Ga.; seven grandchildren, Darcy Kuhn and husband, Dave, and Steven M. Rockwell, all of Cumberland, Tammy Hill and husband, Doug, and Connie A. Brucker and husband, John, all of Fayetteville, N.C., Jennifer M. Bittinger, David W. Bittinger, Rebecca R. Rockwell, all of Short Gap. Mr. Rockwell also was survived by four great-grandchildren; and a former wife, Dorothy (Mason) Rockwell Brady.

HELEN M. ROGERS
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Mrs. Helen McCracken Rogers, 87, died Friday, June 12, 1998, at Sharon Towers in Charlotte, N.C.
Mrs. Rogers was born on March 26, 1911, in McMechen, W.Va., a daughter of the late Jesse O. McCracken and Edna Mae McFann.
She was a legal secretary for many years.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 1998, at Harry and Bryant Chapel, 500 Providence Road, Charlotte, N.C.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 1998, at Washington National cemetery, Suitland, Md.
Mrs. Rogers is survived by her brother-in-law, Al Rogers, of Charlotte; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Malloy Rogers.
