LOLITA D. ROSS
WILEY FORD, W.Va. - Lolita D. (Aguallo) Ross, 63, of Wiley Ford, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 1997, at her residence.
Born Feb. 5, 1934 in Morgantown, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Encarnacino "Tony" Aguallo and Marguerite (Shriver) Aguallo.
She also was preceded in death by one brother, Ecearo "Tippy" Aguallo.
She belonged to the Wiley Ford Church of the Brethren.
Mrs. Ross was a strong person as she endured many illnesses throughout her lifetime.
She touched many lives in her family and community. As a result, she was loved by many.
Survivors include her husband, Roy L. Ross; five children, Linda Hapney, Ridgeley, W.Va., Steven Ross, Wiley Ford, Patricia Wiegle, Cumberland, Royce L. Ross, Wiley Ford, and Kathy Baker, Arizona; two brothers, Manuel Aguallo, Wiley Ford, and Benito Aguallo, Cumberland; three sisters, Marguerita Hall, Wiley Ford, Anita Wagoner, Fort Ashby, and Mary Ann Imes, Wiley Ford; and 14 grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the George-Upchurch Funeral Home, 202 Greene Street, Cumberland, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 1997, at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Benny Brakeall officiating.
The Wiley Ford Volunteer Fire Department will assemble at the funeral home on Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. for a memorial service.
Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Ross, Roy Hapney, David Armbruster, Steve Stafford, Jr., Bobby Portmess, and Mike Stallings. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Hall and Greg Hall.
MARY J. ROTRUCK
NEW CREEK, W.Va. - Mary Jenny Rotruck, 60, of HC 75, Box 26, New Creek, died Thursday, June 5, 1997, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
Born June 20, 1936, at Luke, Md., she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Mary (Spano) Riolo. She also was preceded in death by two sons, Steven L. Rotruck and Robert J. Rotruck; and one sister, Nellie Jeffries.
Mrs. Rotruck was a graduate of Piedmont High School, Piedmont, and Catherman's Business School, Cumberland. She was a member of the Church of the Assumption, Keyser.
Surviving are her husband, Elvin E. "A" Rotruck; two daughters, Laura Delawder and husband Jimmy, Alice Spurling and husband Jim, all of New Creek; three grandchildren, Jamie Delawder, Stephanie Delawder and Tyler Spurling; one nephew, John Jeffries; and two nieces, Toni Ann Jeffries and Mary "Becky" Mattingly.
Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Smith Funeral Home, Keyser, on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. with Father Ivan M. Lebar, T.O.R., officiating.
DONNA J. ROUNDS
KEYSER, W.Va. - Donna Jean Rounds, 64, a resident of the Heartland of Keyser Nursing Home, died Wednesday, March 5, 1997, at the nursing home.
Born Feb. 15, 1933, at Crellin, Md., she was a daughter of the late Ernest T. Wilt and Lillian A. (Keiper) Hyre. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald T. Rounds, on June 2, 1991; stepfather, William L. Hyre; and one sister, Willevine Wolfe.
Mrs. Rounds was a member of the Keyser Church of the Brethren and the Nancy Hanks Post 3518 VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Keyser.
Surviving are two sons, Gerald T. ``Jerry" Rounds and Robert W. Rounds, both of Keyser; three daughters, Rita K. Biggs, Front Royal, Va., Lois A. ``Peachy" Wagoner, Bartow, Fla., and Karen S. Brinkman, Keyser; one sister, Ernestine Helbig, Cleveland, Ohio; and nine grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Smith Funeral Home, Keyser, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Joyce E. Petry officiating.
Interment will be in the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
RICHARD E. ROWAN
SUN CITY CENTER, Fla. - Richard Edwin Rowan, 75, of Sun City Center, Fla., died Friday, Nov. 14, 1997, at Sun City Center.
Born Aug. 14, 1922, in Keyser, W.Va., he was the son of the late John and Ruth (Cox) Rowan. He also was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Margaret (Lamp) Rowan; one daughter, Christine Rowan; and two brothers, John T. Rowan, and the Rev. Theodore Rowan.
Mr. Rowan was retired from the trucking division of Celanese Corporation. He resided in Cumberland until 1988. A World War II veteran, he served in Germany and was a prisoner of war. He was active in the Elks Lodge, Knights of Columbus, American Legion, VFW, and at the time of his death, was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Sun City Center.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia (Retallick) Wilhelm Rowan; one son, John E. Rowan, Omaha, Neb.; one daughter, Karen Bobo, Falmouth, Mass.; two stepsons, Stephen C. Wilhelm, Hurricane, W.Va., and John L. Wilhelm, Sarasota, Fla.; and seven grandchildren.
At Mr. Rowan's request, he was cremated.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Cumberland, on Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Milton A. Hipsley as celebrant.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale, at a later date.
The Scarpelli Funeral Home, 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, is in charge of the arrangements.
BRANDON N. RUBIO
WOODSTOCK, Ga. - Brandon N. Rubio, 12, of Woodstock, formerly of Piedmont, W.Va., died Saturday, July 26, 1997, as the result of an automobile accident.
Born Jan. 21, 1985, in Cumberland, Md., he was the son of Guillermo and Melissa (Taylor) Rubio.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his Maternal Grandparents, James and Betty Taylor, Piedmont.
Brandon attended the seventh grade at Woodstock Middle School, Woodstock. He was a Pentecostal by faith.
The boys are survived by one brother, Christopher "C.A." D'Angelo Taylor, who is a patient at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md., as the result of the accident.
They are survived by two uncles, James D'Angelo Taylor and Christopher L. Taylor and wife Eva, Keyser, W.Va. They are also survived by five cousins.
Friends will be received at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Piedmont, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Combined funeral services will be held at the church on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Henderson Wheeler, Pastor of the Piedmont Church of God in Christ officiating.
Interment will be in the Potomac Valley Memorial Garden, Keyser.
Arrangements are being handled by the Fredlock Funeral Home, Piedmont, W.Va.

JOHN R. RUHL
SHORT GAP, W.Va. - John R. Ruhl, 72, of Short Gap, formerly of Pennsylvania Ave., Cumberland, Md., died Thursday, April 3, 1997, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born March 31, 1925, in Cumberland, he was preceded in death by his wife, Annie M. (Arbogast) Ruhl, in 1982.
Mr. Ruhl was retired from the B&O; Railroad after 42 years of service. He was a member of the Living Stone Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are two stepdaughters; one stepson; and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Sunday from noon to 2 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Timothy L. Monn officiating.
Interment will be in Zion Memorial Park, Cumberland.
