PATRICIA S. WOTRING
FORT ASHBY, W.Va. - Patricia Sharon Wotring, 49, of Fort Ashby, died Thursday, Feb. 20, 1997, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born March 15, 1947, in Cumberland, Md., she was the daughter of Ruth Jewell (Hott) Arbachasky, of Fort Ashby, and the late Anthony Arbachasky.
Mrs. Wotring was a 1965 graduate of the Fort Ashby High School. She had worked at the Amcelle Celanese Plant in the downtwist department. She also was a former nursing assistant.
Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband, Victor "Eli" G. Wotring Jr.; one daughter, Lisa Ann (Wotring) Hyder and husband Damon, Columbus, Ohio; one brother, Timothy F. Arbachasky, Fort Ashby; an aunt, Marguerite Tidwell, Cumberland; an uncle, Eugene D. Hott, Keymar, Md.; and several cousins.
Visitation will be at the Upchurch Funeral Home, Route 28, Fort Ashby, on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, Feb. 23, 1997, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Frank Hyder officiating.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Kimble, Louie Leatherman, Dale Chase, Ric Hahn, Jim Myers and Bruce Myers.
LOUISE C. WAGONER
FORT ASHBY, W.Va. - Louise Catherine (Pyles) Wagoner, 87, of Fort Ashby, died Monday, Dec. 1, 1997, at Memorial Hospital.
Born June 25, 1910, in Fort Ashby, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Alice (Corbin) Pyles.
Mrs. Wagoner also was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd G. Wagoner; and three sisters, Irene Pyles, Frances Buser, and Helen Rohman.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Mrs. Wagoner was a charter member and held various offices in the United Methodist Women, Fort Ashby Homemakers, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fort Ashby Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include one brother, Edgell Pyles and wife, Irma, Fort Ashby; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, Route 28, Fort Ashby, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral service will be held in Trinity United Methodist Church on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 1997, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Dallas Forren officiating.
The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to service time.
A memorial service by the Fort Ashby Homemakers will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., followed by the Ladies Auxiliary-Fort Ashby Volunteer Fire Department, and the United Methodist Women.

EULA B. WARD
KEYSER, W.Va. - Eula B. Ward, 83, of 145 Maple Ave., Keyser, died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 1997, at the Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown.
Born Sept. 4, 1913, at Moorefield, she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Jemima (Veach) Pratt. She also was preceded in death by her husband, French Ward, on Aug. 17, 1963; four brothers, William, Harry, Courtney and Woodrow Pratt; and one sister, Nell Sites.
Mrs. Ward was an active member of the Keyser Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are one son, Scott H. Ward and wife Debby, Terra Alta; two daughters, Mischele Sherf and husband Bob, Titusville, Fla., and Jeannette O'Connor and husband William, Keyser; one brother, Ralph V. Pratt, Moorefield; three sisters, Nancy Broome, Keyser, Dorothy Helvey, New Market, Va., and Catherine Alt, Keyser; six half brothers; one half sister; ten grandchildren, John O'Connor and wife Julie, Michael O'Connor, Kelly Sue O'Connor, Patrick O'Connor, Katy Fresh and husband Chris, Susan Friend and husband John, Chad Ward, Matthew Ward, Jeannette Arn and husband David, and Grant Epling; and one great-granddaughter, Danielle Arn.
Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Smith Funeral Home, Keyser, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Keyser Presbyterian Church on Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Stephen P. Fritz officiating. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to services.
LEE E. WARD
PITTSFORD, N.Y. - Lee E. Ward, 74, of Pittsford, formerly of Ridgeley, W.Va., died Monday, May 12, 1997, at the Brightonian Nursing Home, Rochester, N.Y.
Born Feb. 15, 1923, in Ridgeley, he was the son of the late Edward L. and Susie (Marker) Ward. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, James and Rex Ward.
Mr. Ward was married
on Sept. 5, 1947, to Georgia D. Abe. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Rodney Ward and wife, Judy, Wellington, Ohio; one daughter, Cindy Tornes and husband, Neil, Pittsford; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and one sister, Thelma Collins, Cumberland.
Friends will be received at the McCurdy Funeral Home, Beverly, Ohio, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted there on Thursday at 1 p.m.

JOHN W. WARFIELD
LARGENT, W.Va. - John William Warfield, 76, of Largent, died Thursday, March 20, 1997, at his home.
Born May 10, 1920, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late John William and May (Glefield) Warfield. He also was preceded in death by one son, John W. "Jack" Warfield Jr., in 1996.
Mr. Warfield was of the Methodist faith. He was raised in Baltimore and Howard counties, Md., and graduated from the Ellicott City High School, Class of 1938, Ellicott City, Md.
He was a member of AARP. He served in the U.S. Navy from December 1938 to July 1958, and was awarded the World War II Victory Medal, Good Conduct Medal and Asiatic Pacific Theater Medal.
He was a member of the Fleet Reserve, Branch 024, Annapolis, Md., and the Harley-Bohrer American Legion Post 128, Paw Paw.
Mr. Warfield worked as a motor fleet manager with the U.S. Postal Service from 1959 to July 1975. At his retirement in 1975, Mr. Warfield and his family moved from Annapolis to Largent.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Dorothy Elnora (Cavey) Warfield; two daughters, Linda K. Schenker, Largent, and Edie M. Bresley, Winchester, Va.; one son, Robert E. Warfield, Jamestown, N.Y.; one half sister, Florence Sherman, New York City; twin half brothers, James St. John, Camden, Maine, and Joseph St. John, Concord, N.C.; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

ALBERT H. WARNICK SR.
CANTON, Ohio - Albert Harold "Jim" Warnick Sr., 71, of 3711 Sherman Church Road SW, Canton, died Sunday, April 27, 1997, in Aultman Hospital from an apparent heart attack.
Born May 24, 1925, in Elk Garden, W.Va., he was a son of the late Albert H. Warnick Sr. and Nellie Warnick. He also was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Warnick.
Mr. Warnick resided in the Canton area since 1950. He was a U.S. Navy and a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a retired employee of Canton Drop Forge, retiring in 1990 after 34 years of service. He was a member of VFW Post 693.
He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Phyllis N. Warnick, at home; two daughters and a son-in-law, Earlene M. and Thomas Gorden, Wrentham, Mass., and Sandra H. King, Canton; three sons and a daughter-in-law, James R. Warnick, Roger D. and Tamara L. Warnick, and Rodney K. Warnick, all of Canton; a brother, Robert L. Warnick, Elk Garden, W.Va., and four sisters, Eileen F. Mosser and Sarah J. Smythe, both of Baltimore, Md., Dorothy J. Tranum, Elk Garden, W.Va., and Pauline F. Junkins, Mount Storm, W.Va.; and six grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Reed Funeral Home, Canton, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
