MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Paul Warren Colley, 74, of Martinsburg, died Monday, May 29, 2000, at City Hospital in Martinsburg.
Born Feb. 10, 1926, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Robert A. and Edna May Lockner Colley.
He retired from Bethlehem Steel.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy.
He was of the Methodist faith.
He was a member of American Legion, VFW, and U.S. H.U.S.E. Club.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Lees Colley; three daughters; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 10, at 2 p.m. at the residence.
His remains were donated to the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, W.Va., for medical research.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, c/o Human Gift Registry, 400 N. Lee St., Lewisburg, WV 24901.

Mary R. Crim
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Mary R. Crim, 99, of Martinsburg, died Wednesday, May 31, 2000, at City Hospital in Martinsburg.
Born Feb. 6, 1901, in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Rosser and Margaret Perrell Shade.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron M. Crim.
She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Frances Crim of Martinsburg; a son, Robert A. Crim of Martinsburg; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, M. Juanita Johnson; a son, Victor R. Crim; and a sister, Letha Gano.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St. in Martinsburg. The Rev. Harvey M. Bane will officiate. Burial will be in Falling Waters Presbyterian Church cemetery at Spring Mills.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Lester C. Unger
BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Lester C. "Dick" Unger, 76, of Berkeley Springs, died Wednesday, May 31, 2000, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born Dec. 30, 1923, in Morgan County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Hillary and Carrie L. Michael Unger.
He was a former employee of Interwoven Mills; the foreman at Vanguard Products; and a farmer.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy.
He was a member of Mount Olivet United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty Jean Fearnow Unger; three sons, Danny Unger, Bobby Unger and Randy Unger, all of Berkeley Springs; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Esther Barney; and a brother, Raymond Unger.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Mount Olivet United Methodist Church. The Rev. Philip Unger will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Olivet United Methodist Church cemetery, with graveside services by Tri-State Honor Guard.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home, 106 S. Mercer St. in Berkeley Springs; and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon at the funeral home, and at 1 p.m. at the church.

BUNKER HILL, W.Va. - Evelyn F. White, 70, of Bunker Hill, died Wednesday, May 31, 2000, at Winchester (Va.) Medical Center.
Born Feb. 19, 1930, in Wise, Va., she was the daughter of the late Walter and Hattie Stalle Hall.
She was a member of Mountainside Tabernacle Church in Martinsburg, W.Va.
She is survived by her husband, John B. White; two sisters, Naomi Brawner of Kearneysville, W.Va., and Mary Burton of Crisfield, Md.; and one brother, Walter Hall Jr. of Brooksville, Fla.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Athelene Green; and two brothers, Charles Hall and Freddie Wayne Hall.
Services will be Saturday at noon at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Revs. David Dupont and Betty Dupont will officiate. Burial will be in the Masonic cemetery in Middleway, W.Va.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Carrie V. Dees
HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - Carrie Virginia Dees, 82, of Hedgesville, formerly of Clinton, Md., died Thursday, June 1, 2000, at Canterbury Nursing Home in Shepherdstown, W.Va.
Born Nov. 2, 1917, in Mobile, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Van and Annie Amos Milstead.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Duncan Dees Sr.
She is survived by a daughter, Audrey Jones Spivack of Highland, Md.; two sons, Ralph Dees Jr. of Hedgesville and John Mack Dees of Oakland, Md.; a brother, Allen Milstead of Pensacola, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Evertt Roy Milstead; four sisters; and five brothers.
A memorial service will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg, W.Va. The Rev. Louise Bowen will officiate. Burial will be private.

Freda E. Moore
BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Freda Ellen Moore, 100, of Berkeley Springs, died Thursday, June 1, 2000, at Valley View Nursing Home in Berkeley Springs.
Born March 11, 1900, in Morgan County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late George Elmer and Martha Ann Michael Eckerd.
She attended Spohrs Crossroads School in Morgan County.
She retired in 1962 from Berkeley Springs Grade School where she worked as a cook.
She was a member of Berkeley Springs Church of Christ.
She is survived by a daughter, Martha Ann Michael of Berkeley Springs; a son, Harold W. Moore of Grand Prairie, Texas; a brother, Ralph Eckerd of Berkeley Springs; five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a number of great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Wilma Jean Morgret; two sons, Leroy Moore and Willard S. Moore; two sisters, Janetta Silvers and Barbara Peer; and three brothers, George F. Eckerd, Charles Eckerd and Jamsey Eckerd.
Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, 306 Union St., Berkeley Springs. Pastor Edwin Floyd will officiate. Burial will be in Greenway cemetery.
Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
