MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Lucille E. Frame, 76, of Martinsburg, died Monday, Aug. 2, 1999, at her home.
Born May 27, 1923, in Fairmont, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Walter Smith and Millia J. Hixenbaugh Smith Plotner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Dean Frame; and by her first husband, William H. Corbin.
She was a 1941 graduate of Martinsburg High School.
She was retired from the former McCrory's dime store.
She was a member of Four Mile Woods Full Chapel Pentecostal Church.
She was a member and past regent of women of the Moose Chapter 738 and AARP.
She is survived by two daughters, Delores Jane Miller and Carole Henry, both of Martinsburg; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, William H. Corbin Jr.; and one brother, John S. Smith.
Services will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Martinsburg. The Rev. Paul Stanley will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Charles R. Bain
BUNKER HILL, W.Va. - Charles R. Bain, 72, of Bunker Hill, died Saturday, July 31, 1999, at his home.
Born Sept. 12, 1926, in Berkeley County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Robert A. and Anna C. Ivers Bain.
He retired from Martinsburg Granite Co.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Mount Carmel Church.
He was a member of Berkeley County Republican Executive Committee, co-founder of Republican Association of Berkeley County and past county chairman for the Republican Party.
He was a member of the Republican presidential task force, the Republican National Committee and the National Council Junior Order United American Mechanics serving as past state and past national council and receiving the insurance councilors degree. He was a member of Triluminar Lodge No. 117 AF and AM; Grand Chapter R.A.M. Palestine Knights Templer, Osiris Temple A.A.O.N.M.S. of Wheeling, W.Va.
He received the Outstanding West Virginian Meritorious Service Award which was presented by then Gov. Arch Moore.
He was a member of U.T.C.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Sencindiver Bain; a daughter, Robin B. Messick of Bunker Hill; two sisters, Anna Freas of Philadelphia and Rose Freas of Inwood, W.Va.; a brother, Tom H. Bain of Bunker Hill; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Nellie Steuer and Frances Thacker; and two brothers, Edward Bain and Robert Bain.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg, W.Va. The Rev. Eugene D. Gossett Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, with a Martinsburg No. 35 J.O.U.A.M. service at 7 p.m.

Joseph E. Johnson
INWOOD, W.Va. - Joseph Edward Johnson, 80, of Inwood, died Friday, July 30, 1999, at Integrated Health Services of West Virginia in Charles Town, W.Va.
Born June 6, 1919, in Bunker Hill, W.Va., he was the son of the late Robert Preston and Beulah Virginia Walker Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vernie Jackson Johnson.
He was an orchard worker.
He was a member of Mount Tabor Baptist Church, Bunker Hill.
He is survived by a sister-in-law, Colleen Honesty of Philadelphia.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Johnson.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Rev. Peter S. Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Donald B. Jackson
CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Donald Butler Jackson, 72, of Charles Town, died Friday, July 30, 1999, at his home.
Born March 12, 1927, in Summit Point, W.Va., he was the son of the late Leslie and Louise Jackson-Jackson.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He was a retired orchard worker.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Odessa Christine Williams Jackson; a son, Donald D. Jackson of Hagerstown; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Paul L. Jackson and Vincent L. Jackson; and three brothers, Melvin Jackson, Carroll Jackson and Hugh Jackson.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home, Ranson. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Martinsburg.
The family will receive friends Monday one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Evelyn V. Morrow
SWAN POND, W.Va. - Evelyn V. Morrow, 66, of Swan Pond, died Friday, July 30, 1999, at her home.
Born March 3, 1933, in Round Hill, Va., she was the daughter of the late James R. and Thelma H. Hough Chapman.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl J. Woodward.
She retired from Potomac Supermarket.
She was a member of Blairton United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her second husband, Edward M. "Ned" Morrow; a daughter, Carolyn West of Swan Pond; a sister, Kathryn Bradley of Charles Town, W.Va.; a brother, William Chapman of Pocatella, Iowa; and a granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Edith Markley; and a brother, Robert Chapman.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Rev. John R. Yost will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
