MILLVILLE, W.Va. - Helen Virginia Harder, 72, of Millville, died Sunday, July 25, 1999, at the residence of her daughter, Kim Mattei, in Millville.
Born Sept. 1, 1926, in Kabletown, W.Va., she was the daughter of Esta Mae Taylor Rickard of Shenandoah Health Care Village, Charles Town, W.Va., and the late Charles Rickard.
She was a homemaker.
She was of Protestant faith.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Harder; three daughters, Ginny M. Slusher of Kearneysville, W.Va., Sharon L. Kidwiler of Bakerton, W.Va., and Kim A. Mattei of Millville; four sons, David L. Dignazio of Bakerton, Jerry Lee Harder and Ronald E. Harder, both of Ranson, W.Va., and Jeffrey Scott Harder of Kearneysville; one sister, Lenis Martin of Charles Town; two brothers, Charles Rickard of Shannondale, Harper Ferry, W.Va., and Daniel Rickard of Martinsburg, W.Va.; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Elva Jackson.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Bolivar Pentecostal Church of Christ, Harpers Ferry. The Rev. Joseph Eversole and the Rev. Robert Maraugha will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens Cemetery, Martinsburg.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Rothey Estepp
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Rothey Estepp, 73, of Martinsburg, died Sunday, July 25, 1999, in City Hospital, Martinsburg.
Born Dec. 13, 1925, in Limestone, Tenn., he was the son of the late William H. and Belvia Hampton Estepp.
He retired from General Motors after 31 years.
He was a member of Martinsburg Lodge 120, Loyal Order of Moose.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Price Estepp; two daughters, Freda Estepp of Jonesboro, Tenn., and Bonnie Ott of Hedgesville, W.Va.; three sons, Myron Estepp of Johnson City, Tenn., Harold Alexander of Piedmont, W.Va., and Kenny Noble of Martinsburg; one sister, Pauline Brown of Oxford, Pa.; one brother, Raymond Estepp of Fall Branch, Tenn.; and ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Roy Estepp and Roger Estepp; two sisters, Georgie Corby and Birtsy Arrowood; and two brothers, Carol Estepp and Floyd Estepp.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg. The Rev. John R. Yost will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Bernard W. McBee, Sr.
FORT PIERCE, Fla. - Bernard W. McBee Sr., 74, of Fort Pierce, and formerly of Martinsburg, W.Va., died Friday, July 23, 1999, at his home.
Born Nov. 24, 1924, in Sleepy Creek, W.Va., he was the son of the late Wilbert H. and Barbara Householder McBee.
He was a member of Martinsburg Lodge 120, Loyal Order of Moose.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Gore McBee; one daughter, Sharon Turkoly of Fort Pierce, Fla.; one son, Bernie McBee Jr. of Fort Pierce; five brothers, LeGarde McBee and Gene McBee, both of Martinsburg, Leroy McBee of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., Herbert McBee of Lebanon, Pa., and Darrell McBee of Irving, Texas; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Goldie Ruppenthal and Frances Mitchell; and two brothers, Bert McBee and Virgil McBee.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg. The Rev. Walter Bowers will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Lillie Irene "Sis" Myers, 77, of Martinsburg, died Thursday, July 22, 1999, at City Hospital, Martinsburg.
Born Jan. 27, 1922, in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late William and Mabel Butts Myers.
She was a member of Martinsburg Church of God on VanMetre Avenue and a past member of Mountainside Tabernacle.
She is survived by four sisters, Pearl L. Hess, Lena M. Bagent, Daisy B. Faircloth and Patsy E. Myers, all of Martinsburg; three brothers, James E. Myers, Lester O. Myers and Robert H. Myers, all of Martinsburg; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Jesse M. Cole; and two brothers, Harry F. Myers and Carl W. Myers.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Revs. Harold O. Snyder and Harold L. Hess will officiate. Burial will be in Mountainside Tabernacle Cemetery.

GREAT CACAPON, W.Va. - Geraldine Smrcina Witcraft, 68, of Great Cacapon, died Wednesday, July 21, 1999, at her home.
Born Oct. 17, 1930, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late James F. and Regina D. Kneivel Smrcina.
She graduated from high school and earned a nursing degree.
She was a homemaker. She worked as an administrative assistant prior to her marriage.
She was a Christian.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Robert Witcraft; a daughter, Abigail Horner of Leesburg, Va.; a sister, Regina Bauer of Baltimore; and a grandson.

Llewellen R. Fields
HARPERS FERRY, W.Va. - Llewellen Ruhl Fields, 83, of Harpers Ferry, died Wednesday, July 21, 1999, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Ranson, W.Va.
Born March 20, 1916, in Jefferson County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Claude L. and Goldie Myers Noland.
She was a 1934 graduate of Harpers Ferry High School.
She retired from Supertane Gas Corp.
She was the organist at and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Harpers Ferry.
She is survived by her husband, Melvin C. Fields; a daughter, Julia Ann Ambrose of Martinsburg, W.Va.; a granddaughter, Debbie Donivan; and a great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond Noland, David Noland and Robert Noland.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg, W.Va. The Rev. Gail R. Wolling will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
