HALLTOWN, W.Va. - Karen Louise Hart, 47, of Conestoga Estates, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 1999, at her home.
Born June 7, 1951, in Alpena, Mich., she was the daughter of William Donald Peterson of Alpena and the late Dorothy Louise DuCharme Peterson.
She was a graduate of Alpena High School, Alpena.
She was formerly employed at Super Fresh Food Store in Brunswick, Md.
She was of the Methodist faith.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of 31 years, Daniel Joseph Hart; a daughter, Susan Marie Hamby of Charles Town, W.Va.; a son, Christopher Scott Hart of Harpers Ferry, W.Va.; a sister, Donna Lynn Denmark of Alpena; three brothers, David William Peterson of Minneapolis, Mark Wade Peterson of Baltimore and Randy Martin Peterson of Alpena; three grandchildren; 10 nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Summit Point United Methodist Church, Summit Point, W.Va. Pastor John Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens, Martinsburg, W.Va.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, 310 Fairfax Blvd., Charles Town.

Guy M. Johnson
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Guy Morris Johnson, 70, of Martinsburg, died Saturday, Feb. 13, 1999, at his home.
Born March 10, 1928, in Berkeley County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Gold and Delia Robinson Johnson.
He was retired from General Motors.
He served with the U.S. Navy.
He was a member of Dudley Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, June Green Johnson; a daughter, Colleen Peters of Martinsburg; five sons, James Johnson of Alexandria, Va., Gregory Johnson of Pittsburgh, Phillip Johnson, Morris Johnson and Dennis Johnson, all of Martinsburg; six sisters, Dora McNeill of Washington, D.C., Faye Hatch of Phoenix, Ollie Brown, Leana Cook, Elizabeth Johnson and Cecil Brown, all of Winchester, Va.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Allen Johnson; and three sisters, Blanche Johnson, Chris Johnson and Peggy Jackson.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Dudley Baptist Church. The Rev. Patrick Walker will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens with military graveside services conducted by members of Newton D. Baker Post 896 VFW and Berkeley Post 14 American Legion.
The family will gather at his home Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. before going to the services at the church.

Annie M. Hardy
KEARNEYSVILLE, W.Va. - Annie Mae Dillow Hardy, 88, of Kearneysville, died Friday, Feb. 12, 1999, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Ranson, W.Va.
Born June 30, 1910, in Jefferson County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late John and Emma Jane Chamblin Dillow.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Hardy.
She was a member of Mission Tabernacle Church.
She is survived by two sons, John W. Hardy of Ranson and Ronald E. Hardy of Middleway, W.Va.; two grandchildren; a stepgrandson; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John Dillow; a half brother, John Chamblin; two sisters, Lucy Hardy and Mary Jane Painter; and an infant grandchild.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Mission Tabernacle Church in Harpers Ferry, W.Va. The Rev. Lee Strickler will officiate. Burial will be in Murrill Hill Cemetery, Harpers Ferry.
The family will receive friends Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home, Ranson.
Sarah E. Turner
HARPERS FERRY, W.Va. - Sarah Elizabeth Turner, 73, of Mannings, Harpers Ferry, died Saturday, Feb. 13, 1999, at INOVA Hospital, Fairfax, Va.
Born Oct. 9, 1925, in Chestnut Hill, Jefferson County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late William Edward and Mabel Violet Ott Wilt.
She was formerly employed as a school bus driver for Jefferson County Board of Education.
She was a member of Bolivar Pentecostal Church, Harpers Ferry.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Guilford P. Turner; three daughters, Darlene T. Weister, Inez Ridgeway, and Trixana T. Carter, all of Harpers Ferry; three sons, B. Guilford Turner of Charles Town, W.Va., Duane L. Turner of Harpers Ferry, and Ronald L. Turner of Halltown, W.Va.; one sister, Beatrice Angelo of Manassas, Va.; twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one niece and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Edward Turner.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Bolivar Pentecostal Church, Harpers Ferry. The Rev. B. Guilford Turner will officiate. Burial will be in Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town.
The family will receive friends tonight and Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home.

Nettie L. Brockmeyer
MARTINSBURG, W.VA. - Nettie Louise Brockmeyer, 65, of Martinsburg, and formerly of Laurel, Md., died Friday, Feb. 13, 1999, at her home.
Born Dec. 15, 1933, in Four Corners, Md., she was the daughter of the late Martin and Jewel McIntuff.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Joseph Brockmeyer.
She was retired and formerly employed by the U.S. government as an accountant.
She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Lynne Lewis of Silver Spring, Md.; one son, Ray Lewis Brockmeyer of Martinsburg; one brother, Branson McIntuff of Forestville, Md.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Smith and Pauline Meizlish.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg. The Rev. William Crowe will officiate. Burial will be in Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, Md., at 2 p.m.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
Lucile H. Webster
CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Lucile Hunter Webster, 94, of Charles Town, died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 1999, at Shenandoah Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Charles Town.
Born Feb. 28, 1904, in Charles Town, she was the daughter of the late Willard Dale and Lucy Mary Brown Webster.
She was a graduate of Charles Town High School and Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pa. She attended Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
She retired in 1966 after 40 years as an elementary teacher. She taught at Wright Denny and Page Jackson elementary schools in Charles Town.
She was a member of Charles Town Baptist Church and Virginia Frazier Circle.
She was a member of West Virginia Retired Teachers Association.
She is survived by a niece, Charlotte Butts of Martinsburg.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Florence C. Edwards.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town. Dr. Wyman Hall will officiate.
