Donald W. “Donnie” Brady, age 45, of Hanover, PA, died Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, MD. He was born October 18, 1964 in Baltimore, MD the son of Charles Joseph “Sonny” Brady, Jr. and Margie Lee Brady (nee Bullock) of Florida. He was the Loving husband of Amber Brady (nee Kunkel) of Hanover, PA. Devoted father of “Lil” Donnie W. Brady, Jr., Cody J. Brady and Montana V. Brady. Dear brother of Chuck Brady and wife Sharon of Manchester, Terry Brady of Ocean City, Karen Brady of Glen Burnie and the late Barbie Cramblitt and the late David Brady. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. He was a graduate of Randallstown High School 1983. He was a superintendent for Merritt Properties. He loved gambling and trips to Atlantic City, loved family vacations and the ocean. He enjoyed riding his Harley. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Monday and Tuesday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA. Interment Lake View Memorial Park.

Jackson, Justin P.
Justin Palmer Jackson, 25 of Mt. Airy MD, died suddenly Monday September 27, 2010 from injuries sustained in an Automobile accident in Minnesota. He was born March 26, 1985 in Baltimore, MD the son of Douglas Dean Jackson and Theresa Anne (Dyer) Jackson. He was a graduate student at the University of South Dakota Studying Computer Science. Was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church. A Devote Catholic, Played the Trumpet and the Flute. Attended Franciscan University in Steubenville, OH for Undergraduate studies. Member of Student Honor Society Upfilon Pi Epsilon. Surviving in addition to his parents is a brother Ryan Vincent Jackson of Richland, Washington. And Grandparents Thaddeus and Marilyn Jackson. A Funeral Liturgy will be said on Saturday October 2, 2010 10 AM at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic, corner of MD 75(Green Valley Rd) and MD 26 Libertytown, MD 21762. Interment will be in the Church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday October 1, 2010 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in the Church’s Narthex.

Bidinger, Virginia L.
Virginia L. “Ginny” Bidinger (nee Haines), age 83, of Woodbine, died Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD. She was born December 29, 1926 in Woodbine, MD the daughter of the late Arthur Levi Haines and the late Evelyn Haines (nee Bair). She was the wife of Earl “Punch” Bidinger of Woodbine. She was a Homemaker. She was a faithful servant of Christ and a loving wife and mother; she enjoyed her time with family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Church of the Open Door in Westminster. She was the mother of- Jeannine Kaetzel and husband Ed of Washington State, and Randy Bidinger and wife Anita of East Berlin, PA. Dear sister of Winifred Harrison of Woodbine, Nevin Haines of Westminster, Donald Haines of Westminster, Larry Haines of Westminster and Robert Haines of Westminster. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Tomlinson, Jr., Dennis R.
Dennis Ray Tomlinson, Jr. 45 of Woodbine, died October 1, 2010 at University of MD Medical Center. He was the spouse of 19 years to Catherine Darlene (Phillips) Tomlinson. He was born April 21, 1965 in Howard County, MD the son of Virginia Lucille (Mayne) Arnold and the late Dennis Ray Tomlinson, Sr. Mr. Tomlinson was a Carpenter and had worked for Plunkert Construction and various other Contractors. He enjoyed Mechanical Work, NASCAR, Fishing, Camping, Hunting and spending time with his family. Surviving him in addition to his wife and mother are Step-children: Glenn May II and wife Laura of Chambersburg, PA, April and husband Jeff Ziegenhein of New Windsor, Crystal and husband Steve Farina of Union Bridge. Candace May and companion Kevin Goode of Hagerstown, 8 Grandchildren, Brothers Brian and wife Lisa Tomlinson of Woodbine, James and Tracy Arnold of Mt. Airy. Sisters Sarah Arnold of Woodbine and Caroline and husband Jeff Parsons of Minnesota. 7 nephews and 3 nieces. Funeral Services Tuesday October 5, 2010 2:00 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 West Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 with the Rev. Wallace “Bud” Lusk officiating. Interment will be in Poplar Springs cemetery, Poplar Springs, MD. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.

B. Lee Norwood 71 of Woodbine, MD, died Tuesday October 5, 2010 at Carroll Hospital Center. He was the spouse of Shelby Jean (Shifflett) Norwood. He was born November 17, 1938 in Mt. Airy, MD the son of the late Norvell Lester and the late Sarah Elizabeth (Bowman) Norwood. He was retired Photographic Manager for Westinghouse. A Veteran of the US Air Force, Enjoyed woodworking, building birdhouses, gardening, playing gospel music on his Dobro and Fishing. Surviving in addition to his wife are Daughters and their spouses; Deborah and Maurice Poole, Jr. of New Windsor, Tammy and Chris Collins of Hampstead, Lisa and Robert Baile of Westminster, Sisters: Joyce Smith Patrick of Damascus, Sue Dawn Allen of Williamsport, MD, Carolyn Masser of Hagerstown, Sister-in-law Patricia Norwood of Mt. Airy. Grandchildren: Jason and Todd Poole, Lauren, Myles and Christian Collins, Megan and Matthew Baile, Preceded in death by Son:Brian Kirk Norwood, Sisters: Doris Clay and Sharon Sidler and Brothers A. Wayne, Darryl E. and Julian Norwood. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday October 9, 2010 10 Am at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 with Rev. Chris Collins officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove cemetery, Mt. Airy, MD . The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM . Woodfield, Rebecca B.
Rebecca B. Woodfield (nee Boone), age 80, of Mt. Airy, died Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Carroll Hospice-Dove House in Westminster, MD. She was born July 24, 1930 in Frederick, MD the daughter of the late Sterling Monroe Boone and the late Mary Frances Stitley Boone. She was the wife of Joseph Vincent Woodfield of Mt. Airy. She was a retired nurse. She received her nursing certification from Frederick Memorial Hospital School of nursing. She was a member of the American Legion Mt. Airy Gold Post 191 Ladies auxiliary. She graduated from Mt. Airy High School. She enjoyed knitting and sewing and caring for other people and volunteering her time. Mother of Janet Woodfield of Mt. Airy. Sister of Kenneth Boone of Mt. Airy and Nancy Hammond of Mt. Airy. Grandmother of Kelli Oden and husband Joseph and Joseph Kipe. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Private interment. Wagner, Howard M.
Howard M. Wagner of Glen Burnie, age 91, died Friday, October 15, 2010, at Future Care Chesapeake in Arnold, MD. He was born March 8, 1919 in Glen Burnie, MD the son of the late Grover C. Wagner and the late Iva Leola Wagner (nee Watts). He worked for Acme Markets as a warehouse worker for 42 years. He served in the US Army from 1943-1945. Beloved husband of Lorain S. Wagner (nee Sanner) for 70 years, devoted father of Nancy L. Sechrist of Glen Burnie, Howard “Jack” G. Wagner of Maine, Judith L. Brittingham of Westminster, Stephen M. Wagner of Woodlawn, Gary M. Wagner of Glen Burnie, Linda S. Williams of Columbia and Sandra I. Wagner of Virginia. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arlington Baptist Church, 3030 N. Rolling Road, Baltimore on Tuesday from 2-9 PM and Wednesday from 12:00 noon-1:00PM, where funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Mark Bouslog of Arlington Baptist Church officiating. Interment Resurrection Acres.

Hidey, Donald C.
Donald Clay Hidey, born May 14, 1925, Died Sunday October 17, 2010 at Carroll Hospital Center. He was born May 14, 1925 in Hebbville, MD the son of the late Ray A. Hidey and Late Emma Clay Hidey. Mr. Hidey was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church in Hebbville, recently attended Taylorsville United Methodist Church, . He grew up on the family farm in the Hebbville/Woodlawn area in Baltimore County and graduated from Catonsville High School, Class of 1944. He was a farmer, plumber with Garriott & Hidey, handyman, and a certified beekeeper. He loved flowers & orchids, horticulture, gardening, tending the family orchard, making homemade cider, bowling, Orioles baseball, travelling in his Pace Arrow, and bus trips. He pitched for the Hebbville Athletic Club with his brothers Walter and Ells. He sang in the church choir and a quartet with his brothers, played the trumpet, and spent hours in the air as a pilot. In 1990, Donald moved to Carroll County and lived on a farm in Woodbine, MD with his sister Adelaide Hidey. He is survived by his sisters Adelaide Hidey and June Maring of Woodbine, brother Walter Hidey in Westminster, being predeceased by sister Grace, and brothers Charles, Ellsworth and Raymond. He is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday October 20, 2010 1:00 PM at Salem UMC Hebbville, 7509 Windsor Mill Rd. Baltimore, MD 21244 with Rev. Sarah Dorrance and Rev. Barry E. Hidey officiating. The Family will receive friends on Tuesday October 19, 2010 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 West Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784. Mr. Hidey has donated his remains to Science. In lieu of flowers donations made be made to a church or charity of your choice.

Maehl, John D.
John David Maehl, age 69, of Leesburg, Florida, formerly of Mt. Airy, Md, died Saturday, October 16, 2010 at the Villages Hospice House in the Villages, Florida. He was born April 20, 1941 in St. Louis, MO the son of the late Elmore Frank Maehl and the late Mary Virginia Maehl (nee Metcalf). He was the husband of Mary Irene Maehl (nee Buxton). He was employed by AT & T as a project manager for 28 years, He served in the US Air Force from 1961-1965. He graduated from University of Maryland BS AD. He was the father of Wanda Finn of Apopka, FL, Tina Roberts of French Creek, West Virginia, Chris Maehl of Cape Coral, FL. Dear brother of Nancy Maehl of Long Island, NY, Rae Ann Sheard of Springfield, VA and Half-sister Suzanne Binegar of Dayton, Ohio. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Graveside Service and interment will be held Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Providence cemetery in Kemptown, MD with the Rev. Wallace “Bud” Lusk of Mt. Airy, MD officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to: Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778.

Mary R. Curtis Adams 78 of Westminster formerly of Cobb Island, MD, died Monday October 18, 2010 at Brinton Woods Nursing Home in Sykesville, MD. She was the spouse of the late Donald Lee Adams. She was born December 28, 1931 in Weston, WV the daughter of the late Hurley A. Curtis and Verna E. Bennett Curtis. Her interests included plants and flowers, Jig Saw Puzzles, collecting Frog and humming bird knick-knacks, and was a Steam Train enthusiast. Surviving her are her Children and their spouses; Pam and Gary Stanley of Charleston, SC, Ruth and Steve Hesen of Westminster, MD, Ted Minehart of Prince Frederick, MD, Greg and Darla Minehart of Boyce, Va and Deanna and Jeff Crandall. Sisters: Myla Krupa of Ohio, Peg Jones of Barstow, MD and Woodie Waugh of Jane Lew, WV. Brother Dick Curtis of Jane Lew, WV. Preceded in death by 8 other siblings and a Grandson Curtis Minehart. Funeral Services will be held on Friday October 29, 2010 12 noon at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 where the family will receive friends from 10 Am until time of Service. Inurnment at a later date in Peterson cemetery Westin, WV. Sarah Elizabeth Parks Beaty 89 of New Freedom formerly of Savage MD, died Monday October 25, 2010 at York Hospital Center. She was the spouse of the late John Wesley Beaty. She was born June 2, 1921 in Sykesville, MD. She was born January 2, 1921 in Sykesville, MD the daughter of the late George Martin Parks and the late Ellen Sofrono Kraft Parks. Mrs. Beaty was a homemaker and later became a Special Needs Assistant for Howard County Public Schools. She was a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 7012 New Freedom PA . She was a member of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church; she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, music, reading and crocheting. Surviving her are Son: John C. and wife Debra S. Beaty of Indialantic, FL, Daughter: Joan L and husband Robert M. Collins of Mt. Airy, Daughter: Jill B. and Ronald S. Priebe of New Freedom, PA Daughter: Janet m and husband Jeffrey J. of New Freedom, PA Sisters: Martina Good of Fullerton, Joann F. Merkle, of Baltimore, Carleen Baldwin of Ocean Pines Grandchildren: Justine Middleton, Jo Ann Bowen, Joshua M. Beaty, Shannon J Beaty, Tassie L. Collins-Kasner, Robert M. Collins, Jr., Gregory S. Priebe, Benjamin F. Priebe, Jessica J. Locher, Julianna B Locher, Joseph J. Locher. 11 Great-Grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. Preceded in death by Daughter: Joleen J.
