WHITSON
Reba Mae Lamons Whitson, 86, Fulton, died March 18, 2003, at Fulton Manor Care Center.
She was born April 11, 1916, in Gainesville, a daughter of Charles and Bertha Mae Hambilton Graves. She was married to Theyron Lamons, who preceded her in death. She was married to Cliff Whitson, who preceded her in death.
She worked as a health care provider and was a member of Reform Baptist Church.
Survivors include: three sons, Charles King, state of Oklahoma, and Dean Lamons and T.J. Lamons, both of Fulton; four daughters, Joyce Mae Davidson, Bonnie Eunice Schroer and Patsy Diane Maness, all of Fulton, and Sue Ellen Miller, Mokane; two brothers, Roy Neal Graves, Brazito, and Bob Graves, Baldwin, Kan.; one sister, Marie Mullins, New Mexico; 30 grandchildren; and 53 great-grandchildren.
One son, Murrell Gene Lamons, and one grandson preceded her in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Mike Crowson will officiate. Burial will be in Hams Prairie Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to Hospice in Fulton.
BAILEY
Ruby Bailey, 90, Willow Springs, died March 19, 2003, in Willow Springs.
She was born March 12, 1913, in Solo, a daughter of James and Elizabeth Roberts Salisbury. She was married in 1932 to Robert Bailey, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include: two daughters, Vicki Cave, Holts Summit, and Joan Bailey Russell, Willow Springs; one son, Wendell Bailey, Willow Springs; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Willow Chapel. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery, Solo.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday.
GATZ
Joseph George Gatz, 68, Camdenton, died March 14, 2003, at his home.
He was born Jan. 9, 1935, in Chicago, a son of Joseph S. and Mary A. Adamczyk Gatz. He was married Nov. 5, 1955, to Diane Carol Peterson, who survives at the home.
He graduated from Chicago Vocational School in 1952. He was a firefighter for 33 years. He moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1985. He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Camdenton. He was a charter member of the Camdenton Moose Lodge and was a member of International Association of Firefighters.
Other survivors include: two sons, Daniel Gatz, Camdenton, and Michael Gatz, Elkhorn, Wis.; one daughter, Kathleen Clauson, Orland Park, Ill.; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Pastor John Davis will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to the Our Savior's Lutheran Church Building Fund.
Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
HEGG
Fred Hegg, 91, California, died March 17, 2003, at Tipton Oak Manor.
Arrangements are at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.
HOFFMEYER
Clarence Frank Hoffmeyer, 92, Taos, died March 19, 2003, at his home.
He was born Feb. 6, 1911, in Taos, a son of Henry and Katherine Hillen Hoffmeyer. He was married Oct. 26, 1937, in Taos, to Alma Rackers, who survives at the home.
A farmer, he was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
Other survivors include: one son, Roger Hoffmeyer, Taos; four daughters, Norma Jean Distler and Marilyn Hentges, both of Jefferson City, Melba Hentges, Sumter, S.C., and Diane Scott, St. Louis; one sister, Bernice Roling, Wardsville; 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The Rev. J. David Maher will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will also be from 9-10 a.m. at the church.

OWEN
Ann-Marie D. Owen, 43, Jefferson City, died March 18, 2003, at her home.
She was born Sept. 27, 1959, in Kingston, Jamaica, a daughter of Leonard and Daisy Owen James. Her mother survives in Mandeville Manchester, Jamaica. She was married in 1989, in Kingston, to Keith L. Owen, who died March 16, 2001.
She graduated from high school and attended college in Mandeville Manchester.
She worked for Chase Manhattan Bank, Brooklyn, N.Y., the Bank of Nova Scotia, Mandeville Manchester, and the Department of Revenue, Jefferson City.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Stephanie E. Owen, of the home; one brother, Rupert James, Kingston; and two sisters, Joan Mitchell and Ethla James, both of Mandeville Manchester.
Services will be at 6 p.m. Friday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Ryan Stone will officiate. Burial will be in Mandeville Manchester.
Memorials are suggested to the Worldwide Work of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Arrangements are under the direction of Houser-Millard Funeral Directors.
MEEKS
Dick Meeks, 84, Lake Ozark, died March 19, 2003, in Lake Ozark.
He was born Sept. 8, 1918, in Fairfield, Ill., a son of Sherman R. and Chloe Atterberry Meeks. He was married May 16, 1943, in Buffalo, N.Y., to Betty Jane Dixon Meeks, who died Oct. 18, 1996.
He was owner/operator of Ozark Woodcraft in Osage Beach for 12 years and owned Dick's Resort at the Lake for 10 years. He was an Army veteran.
Survivors include: two sons, Richard G. Meeks Jr., and Jerry Meeks, both of Eldon; three daughters, Sarah J. Ramsey, Jefferson City, Rebecca S. Schwartz, Osage Beach, and Alice J. Orcutt, Lake Ozark; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. Pastor Douglas Crader will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in Greenmore Memorial Gardens, Barnett.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
MEYER
Services for Hugh Meyer Jr., 85, who died Jan. 9, 2003, and his wife, Pearl A. Meyer, 79, who died Oct. 15, 1999, formerly of Versailles, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday. Inurnment was in Versailles Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.
WALKER
Carl E. Walker, 74, California, died March 18, 2003, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born April 8, 1928, in Hermann, a son of Arvil G. and Lena Hans Walker. He was married Oct. 10, 1945, in Jefferson City, to Betty Lou Hayden, who died Nov. 5, 1992. He was married June 28, 1996, in Hartsburg, to Alice Carney, who survives at the home.
A life-long resident of the Central Missouri area, he attended Oak Grove Elementary School and Ashland High School. He worked as a truck driver for Fechtel Beverage and Sales for over 30 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church.
Other survivors include: one son, Wayne Walker, Prescott, Ariz.; one daughter, Diane Shelton, state of North Carolina; three stepsons, Larry Stone, Fenton, Mike Stephenson, Centertown, and Pat Stephenson, Sikeston; three stepdaughters, Bonnie Wilson, Denver, Micki Gudermuth, Cape Girardeau, and Jackie Kaplan, California; two brothers, Arvil Walker Jr., Jefferson City, and Henry Ray Nichols, Holts Summit; two sisters, Ruby Carey, Berthoud, Colo., and Helen Quinn, Hartsburg; three grandchildren and two step grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Freeman Mortuary. The Rev. Paul Scheperle will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Boone County.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday.
