GEIGER

Cleo P. Geiger, 94, Versailles, died March 30, 2003, at Good Shepherd Care Center, Versailles.

She was born Oct. 2, 1908, near Gravois Mills, a daughter of William M. "Willie" and Merle E. Webster Silvey. She was married in 1930, to Ferdinand Martin Geiger, who died July 11, 1969.

She was a teacher in rural schools for several years and worked at Nowells Factory in Kansas City. She was assistant postmaster at Fortune Post Office for many years. She was active in Fortuna Baptist Church for many years before transferring to First Baptist Church, Versailles.

Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Robinson, Versailles, six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

One great-granddaughter preceded her in death.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. Todd Forman will officiate. Burial will be in Versailles Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday.

Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.

HARRIS

Harold Eugene "Goat" Harris, 79, Fulton, died March 30, 2003, at Riverview Nursing Center, Mokane.

He was born Nov. 10, 1923, in Fulton, a son of Roy L. and Myrtle May Bruner Harris.

He was a machine operator for a coal mine. He was a life member of VFW and was an Army veteran of the Korean War, receiving a Bronze Star with an oak leaf cluster.

Survivors include: one son, Kem "Jake" Harris, Steedman; one daughter, Elizabeth Kettle, Fulton; one stepdaughter, Kathy Loucks, Fulton; one brother, Wallace Harris, Fulton; two sisters, Faye Bell and Caroline Davis, both of Fulton; one step grandson.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton.

Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday.

Memorials are suggested to Callaway County Humane Society.

HONEYCUTT

Owen Honeycutt, 89, Dixon, died March 29, 2003, in Christian Health Care Center, Dixon.

He was born Nov. 7, 1913, in Thayer, a son of Alford and Mary Steele Honeycutt. He was married Sept. 24, 1949, in Pocahontas, Ark., to Irene McKinnon, who preceded him in death.

He was an elevator worker in St. Louis before moving to Dixon, where he was self-employed in trading and logging. He owned and operated a store. He served at city marshall in Dixon for a number of years and was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include; one son, Dean McKinnon, Dixon; two sisters, Dale Hamilton, Springfield, and Naomi "Roy" Martin, Reno, Nev.; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Long-Gilbert Funeral Home, Dixon. The Rev. Billy Claiborn will officiate. Burial will be in Seaton Cemetery, near Dixon.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday.

Memorials are suggested to Seaton Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.

PARISH

Ida M. Parish, 71,  Jefferson City, died March 30, 2003, at St. Marys Health Center.

Arrangements are at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.

SIMS

Doris Sims, 71, Columbia, died March 29, 2003, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.

She was born June 10, 1931, in Boonville, a daughter of Ernest and Laura Lang. She was married to Raymond Carroll Sims, who died in October 2000.

She lived most of her life in Arkansas, moving to Columbia a year ago.

Survivors include one brother, Jim Lang,  Jefferson City.

Graveside services will be in Williams Cemetery near Banks, Ark.

Memorials are suggested to Happy Tails Animal Sanctuary.

Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home, Columbia.

SEGO

Nettie L. Sego, 69, Warrensburg, formerly of  Jefferson City, died March 27, 2003, at her home.

She was born Dec. 30, 1933, in  Jefferson City, a daughter of George W. and Sarah Candace Morrow Amos. She was married to William Ivan Rogers, who preceded her in death. She was married to Dan Richard Johnson, who preceded her in death.

She attended Simonsen School and worked as a hostess for Dunkin Donuts.

Survivors include: one son, William Rogers, Warrensburg; two daughters, Deborah Smith, Barstow, Calif., and Pamela Rogers,  Jefferson City; two brothers, Charles Amos, Fort Gibson, Okla., and Leonard Amos, Chillicothe; two sisters, Mildred Tauby, Chillicothe, and Marcella Rothove, Kansas City; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The body will be cremated.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home, Warrensburg.

THORNTON

Robert E. Thornton, 73, Russellville, died March 30, 2003, at St. Marys Health Center.

He was born Feb. 21, 1930, in Carbondale, Ill., a son of Clifton C. Sr., and Mary Lorean Fenley Thornton. He was married in 1950, in Cedar City, to Erma Dean Remley. He was married Feb. 11, 1972, in Russellville, to Joan Jett Talley, who survives at the home.

He attended Lincoln University. He retired from the Navy and was a vocational teacher with Missouri Department of Corrections from 1970-1992, when he retired. He was of the Christian faith; and was a member of Del City Lodge 536 AF & AM; Scottish Rite of Freemasonry; and S. J. USA 32, Moola Temple AAONMS of St. Louis.

Other survivors include: one son, Robert Wayne Thornton, Norman, Okla.; one daughter, Belinda Sue Thornton, Nicoma, Okla.; one brother, Clifton C. Thornton Jr., Columbia; one sister, Mary A. Crawford, Russellville; one grandson; and two step grandchildren.

One stepdaughter, Cynthia Sue Jungmeyer Curtright, died in December1999.

Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Gasconade City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday at Weber and Sons Funeral Home, Russellville, with Scottish Rite services at 7 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to Gasconade City Cemetery, 500 Oak St., Gasconade, Mo. 65036.

WOYAK

Myron "Mike" Woyak, 72, Stevens Point, Wis., died March 29, 2003, at his home.

He was born Dec. 16, 1930, in Pulaski, Wis., a son of Ralph and Genevieve Stremkoski Woyak. He was married June 30, 1956, to Ann M. Schlig, who survives.

He attended St. Stanislaus grade school and graduated from P. J. Jacobs High School. He worked for the Soo Line Railroad for 39 years. He worked for Wisconsin Central Railroad for 31Ž2 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church, Stevens Point, and Knights of Columbus Council 1170. He was a member of International Brotherhood Electric Workers 886 and was a former member of Moose Lodge.

Other survivors include; one son, Rick Woyak, Seattle, Wash.; four daughters, Sheryl Skibba, Arpin, Wis., Marcia Efange, Little Canada, Minn., Jennifer Duncan,  Jefferson City, and Kathy Glodowski, Polonia, Wis.; four brothers, Alvin Woyak, Goleta, Calif., Ralph Woyak and Michael Woyak, both of Stevens Point, Wis., John Woyak, Plover, Wis.; three sisters, Ruth Rakowski, Brookfield, Wis., Genevieve Hebblewhite, Amherst, Wis., and Elaine Dombrowski, Rosholt, Wis.; and 12 grandchildren.

One daughter preceded him in death.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Stephen Catholic Church. The Rev. Daniel Kozlowski will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Boston Funeral Home, Stevens Point, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Additional visitation will be from 10:30 -11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
