After Lou graduated from Iowa State in 1951, they moved to Delaware as Lou began a long career with DuPont in the Design Division of the Engineering Department. Except for a brief stay in Lawrence, Kansas for 12 months in 1957-1958, they remained in Delaware, where they raised their four children. Grandchildren came along from 1987 through 2002 with the arrivals of Benjamin Cox and Thomas Cox of Oregon, WI, Brian Luby and Jessica Luby of Windsor, CT, Laura Cox and Leigh Ann Cox of Aiken, SC, and Kyle Hassall of Kennett Square, PA.
