Alfonso J. Nastri

"Al"

Alfonso J. Nastri, age 95, of Wilmington, DE, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2006. Al retired as a Pipefitter from Dupont, Chambers Works. He and his wife, Nettie, enjoyed traveling to Florida and California. Al was a member of Howard Weston Senior Center in Wilmington Manor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Rosa Nastri; his wife, Nettie B. Nastri; his sisters, Jean Delcollo and Mary Immediato, and his nephews, John C. Delcollo and John T. Connolly. He is survived by his nieces, Rosemary Connolly, Joan Delcollo, Jennifer Connolly, Jill Delcollo, and Christie Delcollo; his nephew, Jonathan Connolly; and brother-in-law, Ralph Immediato.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at St. Matthew Church, 901 E. Newport Pike, Woodcrest, Wilmington, DE at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington.

The family of Al Nastri wishes to thank the staff and nurses at Shipley Manor Nursing Home for all of their kindness and compassion for our beloved Uncle Al, known to them as "Pop-Pop."

Nagle, William R. "Bob"

William R. "Bob" Nagle, Sr., age 80 of Dover, died Friday, May 9, 2003 after a short illness.

He was born February 8, 1923 in Wilmington to the late William F. and Madeline Nagle.

Following service in the U. S. Army Air Force during World War II, he graduated from Spring Garden Institute and later attended Temple University. He worked for many years as an electronic technician in the Newark - Wilmington area.

He was preceded in death by his son Robert F., and brothers James and Leonard.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years Betty; children John W. and his wife Cathy of Bear, DE, Deborah K. and her husband Chris Puccini of Rochester, NY, Michael J. and his wife Suzanne of Newark, DE, Patrick D. and Donna Wolf of Newark, DE, William R., Jr. and his wife Heidi of Newark, DE, Mary E. and her husband Carl Bader of Bear, DE; two sisters Loretta Anthony of Arizona, and Dawn Claire of Newark. He had 19 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 5 step-children.

He was a very spiritual man, an avid reader and sportsman. He was an inspiration to everyone who knew him and will be greatly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service on Friday, May 16, 12:00 noon at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 425 N. DuPont Highway, Dover, where he was a member. Interment will be in Delaware Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Bear.

Albert L. Nai

Age 76 of Wilmington, DE died Thursday, March 22, 2001 surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Gladys E. Nai, his children, Lawrence J. Nai of Wilmington, DE, Linda E. Ward of Charlestown, MD; his brother and sisters, Alfred Nai, Eleanor Hall, and Norma Frederick, all of Wilmington, DE; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 9th and DuPont Sts., Wilmington on Tuedsay, March 27th at 11 am, where friends may call after 10am. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, New Castle, DE 19720.

Nail, Rev. Eva G.

Rev. Eva G. Nail, 90, 1061 South Little Rd, Dover, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2002, at Millcroft Nursing Home Newark.

She was born on September 18, 1912, in Crellin, MD, to Stanley and Addie (Adams) Ashby.

She was a Minister along with her husband serving Nazarene Church in Madison, WV, Rand, WV, Cleveland, OH, Vermilion, OH, Williamsburg, VA, and Wilmington, DE. She was a member of the Calvary Church of the Nazarene in Dover. She was active in the ministery there. She is preceded in death by her Father and Mother, her husband Rev. Willis D. Nail.

She is survived by Son and his wife, Ronald D. and Pat Nail of Wilmington, DE. Son and his wife, Richard A. and Colleen Nail of New Castle, DE. Sister and his wife, Loretta and Rev. Joseph Hoopengardner of Hollywood, MD. Great Grand child, Madison Nail, Great Grand child, Monroe Nail, Great Grand child, Brock Nail, Grand child, Richard Nail, Grand child, Shane Nail, Grand child, Shera Nail,

Celebration of life Services will be held Friday 12/13/2002 Noon 12:00 PM at Trinity Wesleyan Church in Dover, DE Burial will be at the Silverbrook Cem. Wilmington, DE

Nash, Bryce Robert

Bryce Robert Nash, of Dover, formerly of Smyrna, passed away suddenly on Friday August 18 due to injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was 67.

He was born in Ludlow, Mass. on June 28, 1939. Upon graduating high school, he entered the Army and served from 1957 to 1960. After leaving the military, he graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1968.

He was employed by Southern States Coop. as an area credit manager and moved to Smyrna, DE in 1972.

After retiring from Southern States, he was employed for many years by Parkview RV Center, Smyrna, and later, owned and operated Spirit RV Sales, Dover. Most recently, he assisted his son in the operation of his business, Horns Machine Shop, Clayton.

Bryce earned many honors and awards for achievement in the RV sales industry.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Shriners, the Scottish Rite, and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon. In addition, he was a past-president of the Smyrna-Clayton Rotary Club, and was a recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow award, the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a Rotarian.

In his spare time, he enjoyed socializing with family and friends, and helping others.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert D. Nash, and his step-father, Raymond Niles.

He is survived by his mother, Natalie Niles, of Springfield, MA; a son, Ricky Nash, and wife Tricia, of Smyrna; a daughter, Robin Nash-Lefebvre of Clayton; and son-in-law, Ken Lefebvre Jr.; three grandchildren, Nicholas Nash, Justin Nash, and Briana Lefebvre; a sister, Nancy McGuill, of Springfield, MA; a special niece and nephew, Julie Brayton and David McGuill, both of MA.; and his special companion, Cheryl Amerman, of Seaford.

Services will be held 8:00 PM Thursday August 24 at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, where friends may call at 6:00 PM. Masonic Services will be held at 7:00 PM.

Interment will be private.

If desired, contributions may be sent in Bryce's memory to the Smyrna-Clayton Rotary Club, c/o Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, DE 19977.

Nabb, Connie G. "Nanny"

Connie G. "Nanny" (Moody) Nabb of Smyrna, Delaware, passed peacefully to be with her Lord on Thursday September 20, 2007 after a long illness, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was 89.

Mrs. Nabb was born on May 1, 1918 near Mountain City, TN, the daughter of the late Elijah and Matilda (Church) Moody.

She had worked 17 years at the Zenith Meat Packing Co. in Wilmington, DE, followed by 12 years in nursing, retiring from Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill in Smyrna, where she also served as a Union Representative.

Over the years she had been a member of several local churches serving a host of missionaries and ministers through her years of service to her Lord.

She was definitely known and loved for her hospitality and marvelous "down home country cooking"!

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Nabb in 2001 ; a sister and brother-in-law Garrison and Flossie Garland and four nephews, Dewey, Stanford, Barton and W.H.

Garland and her first cousin/best friend, Bonnie Reynolds of Tennessee/Wilmington, DE.

She leaves to cherish her memories five children, Ralph Danner of Butler, TN, James Danner of New Castle, DE, Truman "Danny" Danner of Omaha, NE, Margaret Kuhlman of Phoenix, AZ, Martha Louise Joseph of Townsend, DE, and "adopted son" Jim Franklin of Blackbird, DE, thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and a great-great grandson and daughter.

She is also survived by her only niece, Mae Robinson and numerous great-nieces and nephews of TN.

Services will be Tuesday September 25, 2007 at 11a.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 South Main St., Smyrna, DE, where friends may call one hour prior to the service.

Chaplain Raymond Taylor will officiate.

Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, DuPont Parkway, Smyrna, DE.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Praise Assembly Church, 1421 Old Baltimore Pike, Newark, DE, 19711or the Mamie Warren Center, 1775 Wheatley's Pond Rd., Clayton, DE 19938 and/or Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Parkway, Dover, DE 19901.

Arrangements are by Faries Funeral Directors and Crematorium Inc., 29 South Main Street Smyrna, Delaware.
