CLAUSEN, Henry P.
Henry P. Clausen, 79, a retired farmer, died at 10:15 p.m. Sunday at Gibson Community Hospital. His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Anchor, the Rev. Alexander Youck officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. today at Lamb Funeral Home. He was born 1-1-1898, in Sibley, a son of John and Mary Brading Clausen. He married
Ella Schmidt 2-16-1927 in St. John's Church. Surviving are his wife; five daughters, Lois Friese, Bayles Lake, near Loda; Wilma Andreae, Gibson City; Elaine Boyd and Janice Riddle, both of Normal; and Frances Hinshaw of Decatur; four sisters, Anna Gilmore, Gibson City; Augusta Molck, Anchor; Louella Martens and Ida Hansen, both of Sibley; 14 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Four brothers and a sister preceded him in death. Mr. Clausen, who farmed near Sibley and Gibson City was a veteran of WWI. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Anchor, and Gibson City American Legion. died: 8-7-1977
CLAUSEN, Ella A. Schmidt
Funeral services for Ella A. Clausen, 87, a resident at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Normal, formerly of Gibson City and Anchor, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Anchor, the Rev. Melvin Blobaum officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church. She died at 4;55 p.m. Sunday 7-23-1995 at the nursing home. Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City, has charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Anchor. Surviving are four daughters, Lois Friese, Grand Island, Fla.; Elaine Boyd, Normal; Janice Riddle, Lady Lake, Fla.; Frances Hinshaw, Minooka; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. One daughter, one grandson, two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. She was born 7-16-1908 in Anchor, a daughter of Christian and Claudine Bielfeldt Schmidt. She married
Henry P. Clausen 2-16-1927 in Anchor. He died 8-7-1977. Mrs. Clausen was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Anchor. She and her husband lived and farmed in the Sibley - Gibson City area all of their adult lives.

Robert "Ralph" Cleinmark, 61, of 328 E. Mulberry St. Bloomington, died at 7:53 p.m. Friday 3-10-1995 at Saint Francis Medical Center, Peoria. His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Metzler-Froelich Memorial Home, Bloomington, the Rev. Thomas Maloney officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery, Bloomington. Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Cleinmark was born 7-10-1933 at Decatur, the son of Robert William and Elizabeth H. Buckley Cleinmark. He married
Jaynet F. Nafziger 10-3-1959 at Bloomington. She survives. Also surviving are four sons, David A. Cleinmark, Heyworth; Kevin S. Cleinmark, Normal; and Kenneth J. Cleinmark and Michael R. Cleinmark, both of Bloomington; one daughter, Beth Ann Cleinmark, Kissimmee, Fla.; two sisters, Elizabeth J. Cleinmark, Springfield; and Edith A Cwick, Gridley; and 11 grandchildren. His parents and two sisters preceded him in death. Mr. Cleinmark was employed by the Illinois Department of Transportation as an engineering technician since 1970. He formerly worked for the McLean County Highway Dept as an engineering technician --- member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church --- former Cub Scout leader --- served in the Army from 1953 to --- an avid hocky fan (rest of obituary is missing)

COLFAX -- Nadean E. Colclasure, 71, of Colfax died at 10:15 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 1994, at her home. Born Aug. 26, 1922, in Dewitt to John Franklin and Norabelle Reynolds Lee, she married
Percy Edward Colclasure on Sept. 25, 1944, in Heyworth. He died Oct. 26, 1983. She also was preceded in death by one brother and one daughter. Surviving are three sons, John Edward of Bloomington, George E. of Normal and Ron G. of Eureka; one daughter, Mrs. Jess (Paula) Northcutt of Bloomington; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, John Franklin Lee Jr. of Heyworth; and six sisters, Mary Denniston of Bloomington, Julia M. Mathews of Arthur, Maymie Deiters, Thelma VanWinkle and Ella Ferguson, all of Heyworth, and Helen Kinsell of Normal. A lifetime McLean County resident, she had been a Colfax resident since 1958. She was a nurse's aide at Octavia Manor Nursing Home in Colfax for 16 years, retiring in 1990. She also worked at her daughter's childcare center, Paula's Playpen in Bloomington. She was a member of Colfax American Legion Auxiliary, 40 et 8 and the Never Too Old Club in Colfax. She was a member of Colfax Christian Church and its Hustlers Society. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home in Colfax. The Rev. Stephanie Curran will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at the memorial home. Burial will be in Wiley cemetery in Colfax. Memorials may be made to her church or any charity.

The funeral for Mrs. Nettie Crowder, 94, formerly of Bloomington, who died Friday (May 4, 1974) will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Carmody Funeral Home. The Rev. Fred Belcher will officiate and burial will be in Hopewell cemetery, Downs. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. tonight. She was born at Downs June 2, 1879, a daughter of Solomon and Sarah (Teter) Phillips. Her husband, William Crowder died in 1969. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Sheehan, Port. St. Lucie, Fla; a sister, Mrs. Lillian Honnor, LeRoy; seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Two sons, a daughter, a sister and five brothers preceded her in death.

CUMPSTON, Eric Lee
Eric Lee Cumpston, 29, of Champaign, formerly of Anchor, died at 12:09 a.m. yesterday 9-6-1989 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. He was the victim of a homicide. Champaign County Coroner Eldon Quick is investigating the death. Please see the story on page A8. Mr. Cumpston's funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Anchor, the Rev. Melvin Blobaum officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 - 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax, is in charge of arrangements. He was born 9-29-1959 in Chicago, the son of Kenneth and Marjorie Bielfeldt Cumpston. He married
Lynda Evans on 11-10-1984 in Anchor. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Tyler, at home; a daughter, Haley, at home; and his parents, Anchor. He was a resident of Champaign and was employed by Kraft Foods there the past 12 years. He was a 1977 graduate of Octavia High School in Colfax and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Anchor. Memorials may be made to a trust fund that has been established for his children in his memory.
HILLARY, Dorothy I. Christensen
The funeral of Dorothy I. Hillary, 64, rural Melvin, who died Tuesday 10-29-1985, will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church Anchor, the Rev. Melvin Blobaum officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 - 9 p.m. today at Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City, and an hour before the service Friday at the church. Mrs. Hillary was born 4-24-1921 in Sibley, a daughter of Thomas and Sophie Boettger Christensen. She married
Dale Hillary 12-10-1940 in Melvin. He survives. Other survivors include a son, Donald of Downs; a daughter, Beverly J. Rueck, Melvin; a brother Floyd Christensen, Waterloo, Wis.; and four grandsons. Five brothers preceded her in death. Mrs. Hillary worked for Nichols Homeshield in Chatsworth for 18 years, retiring in 1984. She was a resident of the Melvin and Sibley area all of her life. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Anchor, the Dorcas Society of the church, Ford County Homemakers Extension and Melvin Women's Club. She was a former 4-H leader in the Melvin area.
HINRICHSEN, Roy John William
Roy Hinrichsen, 78, Colfax died at 5:40 a.m. yesterday 4-15-1984 at St. Joseph's Hospital Medical Center, Bloomington. His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Anchor, the Rev. Melvin Blobaum officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 - 7 p.m. today at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax, and one hour before the service at the church. There will be an 8 p.m. prayer service, the Rev. Blobaum officiating. He was born 9-19-1905 in Anchor Twp, a son of Herman and Emma Beecher Hinrichsen. He married
Bertha Klintworth 2-9-1927 at St. John's and she survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Gladys Eyer and Margery Eyer, both of Anchor; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, one sister and two infant siblings. Mr. Hinrichsen was a retired farmer, a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Anchor, and a member of the McLean Co. Farm Bureau. Memorials may be made to his church or the Eastern McLean Co. Ambulance Association.

Bertha Hinrichsen, age 97, of Colfax died at 4:30 p.m. 3-14-2003 at Heritage Manor, Colfax. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. March 17 at St. John's Lutheran Church of rural Anchor with the Reverend Stephen Goodwin officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Visitation was from 10 - 11 a.m. March 17 at the church. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home in Colfax was in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or Eastern McLean County Ambulance Association. Mrs. Hinrichsen was born 5-5-1905 at Anchor, a daughter of Henry and Emma Schleeter Klintworth. Roy Hinrichsen in Anchor on 2-9-1927. He died 4-15-1984. Survivors include two daughters, Margery (Harold) Eyer of Colfax and Gladys (Chester) Eyer of Anchor; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one brother, Edward Klintworth of Colfax. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Mrs. Hinrichsen was a life-long member of St. John's Lutheran Church of rural Anchor. She was a member of the Dorcas Society of the church.
