Lawrence M. Kozlowski, 76, of Worth, died July 17, 2011 at Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights.
Visitation wads July 19 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Schmaedeke Funeral Home in Worth. A funeral mass was held at Sacred Heart Church in Palos Hills July 20 at 10 a.m. Burial was at Resurrection cemetery.
Mr. Kozlowski is survived by his wife Barbara; his daughter Barbara Bem; his brother Grank Kozlowski; and two grandchildren.
Mr. Kozlowski was born in Wisconsin. He was a tool and dye grinder.
SUSAN J. CROSBY
Susan J. Crosby, 72, of Palos Park, died last Wednesday in her home.
Visitation was held Sunday at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home in Palos Hills.
The funeral Mass was Monday at Our Lady of the Ridge Church in Chicago Ridge.
Interment was Holy Sepulchre cemetery in Worth.
Mrs. Crosby is survived by children Vivian (Peter) Recchia, Daniel and Jeffrey (Athena) and sister Vivian (Frank) Waldron.
Mrs. Crosby was born in Chicago and worked as a nurse, including many years of service at Misericordia in Chicago.
GERALD P. HOMAN
Gerald P. Homan, 53, of Palos Hills, died last Wednesday at Palos Community Hospital.
Visitation was held Monday at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home in Palos Hills.
The funeral Mass was scheduled for Tuesday at St. Alexander Church in Palos Heights.
Interment was at Holy Sepulchre cemetery in Worth.
Mr. Homan is survived by his wife, Cynthia; children Nicholas (Tina), Melissa (Josue) Santos, Andrew, Emily and Michael and sisters Mary Kay (Frank) Slotkus, Donna (Kevin) Walsh and Sue (the late James) Ryan.
Mr. Homan was born in Chicago and spent many years in the working in the elevator industry.
DONALD E. MARTIN
Donald E. Martin, 80, formerly of Worth died Friday at the Manor Care West Nursing Home in Palos Heights.
Visitation was held Monday at Van Henkelum Funeral Home Funeral Home in Palos Heights.
A funeral Mass was held Tuesday at St. Alexander Church in Palos Heights.
Burial was at Abraham Lincoln National cemetery in Elwood.
Mr. Martin was survived by his wife, Mary Catherine Martin, and children Suzanne Vanderhyden, Donald, Dennis, Gerald and Thomas Martin.
He was born in Chicago, worked as a parts manager for auto dealerships and was a volunteer for the Illinois Veterans Home in Manteno.
DONALD J. PROCHASKA
Donald J. Prochaska, 75, of Plainfield and a former Hickory Hills resident, died Sept. 22, 2014 at Seasons Hope Hospice in Naperville.
Visitation was Thursday at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home in Palos Hills.
A funeral Mass was held Friday at St. Patricia Church in Hickory Hills.
Interment was at Queen of Heaven cemetery.
A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Prochaska is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judi; children Darren (Christine) and Brian (Marisa).
Mr. Prochaska was born in Chicago and spent several years in the printing industry.
Ann Marie Ardolino
Ann Marie Ardolino, 100, of Palos Park, died Sept. 15, 2014 in Palos Heights.
Visitation was Sunday at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home.
Funeral services were Monday at Sacred Heart Church in Palos Hills followed by entombment Queen of Heaven cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Stakenas and son, Michael.
Mrs. Ardolino worked for several years as correctional officer with the Cook County Sheriff’s Department.
She was a member of the St. Richard Golden Agers.
Lois C. Kraus
Lois C. Kraus, 81, of Evergreen Park, died recently.
Visitation was held Friday at Kosary Funeral Home in Evergreen Park.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Most Holy Redeemer Church followed by interment at Resurrection cemetery.
Mrs. Kraus is survived three children, Paul, Stephen and Catherine and sisters Elaine, Collette, Janice and Linda.
Theola B. Nastav
Theola B. Nastav, 89, died Sept. 1, 2014 in Palos Hills.
Visitation and Mass were held Saturday at the Sacred Heart Church in Palos Hills.
Interment will be held at a later date at Holy Cross cemetery.
Ms. Nastav was survived by her son, Edward, Jr.
She was born in Chicago and worked as a school secretary.
