Ross, Jr., Suzanne Kelly and J. Peyton Ross. Also survived by eight great grandchildren. Son of the late Edward Rohrer and Marguerite Peyton Rohrer. Brother of the late Edward A. Rohrer. Aged 96 years. A native of New Orleans and a resident of Kenner for the past 5 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral. CRADY
Patricia Gladney Cook Crady died peacefully at her home on May 31, 2001. Mrs. Crady was born January 22, 1924 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma to Florine Gladney Cook and Col. George Edward Cook. She attended Newcomb University in New Orleans, Louisiana where she met and later married Tulane Law School student Charles C. Crady, III. They wed in New Orleans and moved to Houston in 1945. Pat Crady was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, artist and civic leader. She was a founding board member of several organizations including Child Builders, Zoo Friends, the Houston Art League, and Civic Music. An active member of St. Martin's Episcopal Church since it was founded, she co-founded the ""Saintly Stitchers, " and was a dedicated library volunteer for over forty years. Pat Crady is predeceased by her parents, Florine Gladney Cook and Col. George Edward Cook, her aunt, Evelyn Gladney Witherspoon, and her loving husband of 54 years, Charles C. Crady, III. She is survived by many loving friends, and her devoted family of five children and their spouses, Charles and Flo Crady Newton, Margaret and Charles Crady IV, Tom and Kate Crady Boyd, Margaret ""Meg" McAlpin Crady, Hilary and George ""Ned" Crady; and 8 grandchildren, Dominique Hope Newton, Charles Crady Newton, Charles Christopher Crady, Chad Lewis Crady, Alexander Crady Boyd, Michael McAlpin Boyd, Grayson Sloan Crady and Sloan Cook Crady. A memorial service will be held Monday, June 4 at 2 p.m. at St. Martin's Episcopal Church, 717 Sage Road, Houston, TX 77056, with The Rev. Dr. Peter G. Thomas and The Rev. Stuart Bates officiating. A reception immediately following the service will be held in the adjoining Bagby Parish Hall. Friends are invited for visitation with the family at the family home Sunday, June 3, 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. The family is indebted to Albert Jones for his devoted friendship and loyalty to Pat and Charles Crady. We wish to thank The Rev. Dr. Peter G. Thomas for his comfort and guidance the past three years; and Dr. Nelson Fernandez, Cynthia Bruns, Florine Harrison, Helen Joseph, Ada Milligan, Edna Washington, Jack Guinn and Vitas Hospice for their loving care and compassion. Hartman. Brother of Raymond C. Lubrano and Anthony M. Lubrano. Also survived by 3 grandchildren. John Leslie Wallace, Sr. at West Jefferson Medical Center on Thursday, May 31, 2001. Age 60 years. A native of Houston, Texas and a resident of Marrero, LA. Former spouse of Betty Stansberry. Son of the late Jefferson and Edna Wallace. Father of Patricia Pavia, John Leslie Wallace, Jr., Ruth Edna Wallace, Betty Ann Billiot, and George Wallace. Also survived by 2 sisters and 4 brothers, 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 2 expected great-grandchildren. MARLER
Kerry Francis Marler died on Thursday, May 31, 2001 of heart failure at his home in Metairie. Age 53 years. He was a native of Baton Rouge, and a resident of Metairie, LA, also a resident of Tampa, FL for 14 years. Mr. Francis was a management consulting executive, listed in 1989 to 1990 Who's Who. He was a scuba diver instructor, and an avid bike rider. Survivors include his mother, Lynn Joyce Marler of Metairie, his sons, who affectionately called him Papa, Chad Michael Marler of Tampa, FL and Sean Patrick Marler of Miami, (2) sisters, Linda Marler Breath of Spring, Texas and Derrilyn Marler Hebert of Arnaudville, LA and (3) brothers, R. Philip Marler, M.D. of Georgia, Derrille Edgar Marler, Jr. of Alpharette, GA and William Walter Marler of Hattisburg, MS. preceded in death by his father, Derrille Edgar Marler, Sr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 5, 2001 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Grosse Tete, LA. Mrs. Thelma Margaret Joseph Goldman, on Saturday, June 2, 2001 at 5:00 AM. Age 83 years. Beloved wife of Dr. Daniel Wilbur Goldman. Mother of Jeffrey H. Goldman and Marc A. Goldman. Daughter of the late Ella Shure Joseph and Jacob Joseph. Sister of Mr. Marvin Joseph and Mrs. Cleo Greeson of Syracuse, New York. Mrs. Goldman was a member of Hadassah and the New Orleans Council of Jewish Women. Mrs. Goldman was also a generous contributor to many special charities and organizations, in and out of New Orleans.
