ANNE D. EBERLY
MIDLAND - Anne D. Eberly, 75, of O'Mara Avenue, Midland, died Monday, Oct. 12, 1998, at the Washington Adventist Hospital, Takoma Park.
Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The Midland Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home at 7 p.m. The Rosary will be recited by the Rev. William Moody at the funeral home at 8:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Midland, Friday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. William Moody as celebrant.
Interment will be in the St. Michael's Parish cemetery, Frostburg.
Pallbearers will be Danny Devlin, Bill Devlin, Harry Devlin, John Devlin, James Eberly Jr. and Mike Kammmauf.
MABEL TEXIE BOORE
HAGERSTOWN - Mabel Texie Boore, 90, of 20233 Jefferson Blvd., Hagerstown, died on Monday, July 20, 1998, at the Coffman Nursing Home, Hagerstown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Elmer Boore, in 1970.
Born March 2, 1908, in Upper Tract, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Wellington F. and Mahala Hedrick Landis.
She was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church, Hagerstown.
She was a member of the Washington County Senior Citizens at the Alexander House.
She is survived by two daughters, Thelma E. Smith, Beverly J. Boward, both of Hagerstown; one son, Carl L. Boore, Hagerstown; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Ernest Boore and George A. Boore; one brother, George E. Boore; and one granddaughter, Tina Marie Smith.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Robert D. Swank Jr. officiating.
Burial will be in the Rest Haven cemetery, Hagerstown.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.

IRENE A. CLARK
WESTERNPORT - Irene Arvella Clark, 88, of the Moran Manor Nursing Home, Westernport, formerly of 51 Jones St., Piedmont, W.Va., died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 1998, at the nursing home.
Born April 19, 1910, in Westernport, she was the daughter of the late Albert C. and Edith P. (Duckworth) Stump. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lonzy Clark, in 1966; and a daughter, Helen Hook.
Mrs. Clark was a homemaker and formerly attended the Westernport Assembly of God Church and the Ladies Bible Class of the church.
Surviving are three sons, Harley Clark and wife, Lois, Keyser, Edgar Clark and wife, Dot, Keyser, and Lonzy Clark and wife, Rhonda, Westernport; two daughters, Ida Fazenbaker and husband, Leroy, Elwood City, Pa., and Dorothy Bothwell and husband, Tom, Westernport; a half-brother, Norman Mayhew, Keyser; and a half-sister, Wilma Bittinger, Kitzmiller; 23 grandchildren; and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Ada Kittle officiating.
Interment will be in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
MELVIN J. BOONE
CUMBERLAND - Melvin Jasper Boone, 84, of Cumberland, died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 1998, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.
Born Oct. 15, 1914, in Rio, W.Va., he was the son of the late John and Mary Boone. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Helen (Doyle) Boone; three brothers, Herbert, Leonard and Wilbert Boone.
Mr. Boone was retired from the Local Iron Workers Union.
Surviving are one son, Charles M. Boone and wife, Debbie, Cumberland; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted on Friday at 1 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park with the Rev. Lloyd B. McCanna officiating.
Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., is in charge of arrangements.

HOBERT B. BONNER
FREDERICK - Mr. Hobert Blake Bonner, 79, who resided at 2500 Driftwood Court, Frederick, died on Thursday, May 14, 1998, at the Citizens Nursing Home. He was the husband of Mrs. Betty M. Davis Bonner for 52 years.
Born at Davis, W.Va., July 3, 1918, Mr. Bonner was a son of the late S. Victor and Kate Teter Bonner.
Mr. Bonner was a graduate of Davis and Elkins College, Elkins, W.Va., earning his degree in microbiology. He served with the United States Army during World War II in Europe, and was part of the D-Day invasion forces on Normandy Beach, France.
He had been employed at Fort Detrick for 20 years, and later followed by employment at the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission for 12 years as a microbiologist, retiring in 1983.
He was a member of the Francis Scott Key Post #11, American Legion, a member of the John R. Webb Post V.F.W., and the Knights of Pythias, Mountain City Lodge #29, and the NARFE. He volunteered many hours for the Meals on Wheels in Frederick.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, Duke Bonner, and wife, Carol, Knoxville, John Bonner, and wife, Vicky, Keedysville, and William C. Bonner, Knoxville; four grandchildren, David Bonner, Michael Bonner, and wife, Doris, Melissa Bonner and Nathan Bonner. Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Opal Bosley, Hanover, Pa., Ruby Schaeffer, Silver Spring, Howard L. Bonner, Rockville, and Curtis M. Bonner, Canaan Valley, W.Va. He also leaves behind many friends and the wonderful staff at Citizens Nursing Home.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Maysel Gaynor, Alta Sterner and Pauline Morris.
The family will receive friends at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 Church St., on Sunday, May 17, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home on Monday, May 18, at 10 a.m. The Rev. Wendell McClellan, pastor of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, Gapland, will officiate. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Park, Cumberland.
LEANNA "NOOK" BOLAND
LAVALE - Leanna Juanita "Nook" Boland, 73, of LaVale, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1998, at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Center, Frostburg.
Born Nov. 7, 1924, in Mount Savage, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Moody Holt and the late Josephine (Retzer) Holt.
Mrs. Boland was formerly employed as an LPN at Sacred Heart Hospital. "Nook" is much loved and will be sadly missed for her untiring devotion to her family and friends.
Surviving are her husband, Edward Boland, LaVale; a son, Jerry Douglas Boland, M.D., and wife, Shirley, Tallahassee, Fla.; a daughter, Aleta Rae Boland, Clearwater, Fla.; two grandchildren, Mollie Lynn Boland and Patrick Joseph Boland, Tallahassee; a brother Ronald William Holt, LaVale; and a sister, Mary Ellen Roberts, LaVale.
Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 p.m.
