MARGARET E. O'NEAL
LORAIN, Ohio - Margaret E. O'Neal (nee Lilly), 73, of Lorain, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 1998, at Autumn Aegis Nursing Home following an extended illness. She was born in Mount Savage on Feb. 10, 1924, and had been a resident of Lorain since 1949, coming from Mount Savage.
She is survived by her husband, Bacil; daughters, Carol Lee Hensley and Susan Ralich, both of Lorain, Debbie Hall, Sullivan, Ohio, and Patty Wiseman, Cumberland; sons, Robert F., Water Valley, Ky., James D., Lorain, and Bacil H. "Spanky" O'Neal, Jr., Sullivan; 26 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; a sister, Emma Hammell, Lewis, Del.; a brother, George Lilly, Mount Savage.

She was preceded in death by a son, Charles; her parents, James and Elizabeth (nee Dyling) Lilly; a sister, Marie O'Brien; and brothers, James and Joseph Lilly.

Funeral services will be Tuesday 11:30 a.m. in the Catholic Church of St. Peter, Lorain. Burial will follow in Beckly cemetery, Rochester Township, Ohio.

JOSEPH ORLICK
FROSTBURG - Joseph Orlick, 95, of the Frostburg Village Nursing Home, formerly of New Brunswick, N.J., and LaVale, died Saturday, May 16, 1998, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born Jan. 31, 1903, in Hungary, he was the son of the late Joseph and Ethyl (Gajder) Orlick. He also was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Melany Orlick; and two brothers.

Mr. Orlick was an electrician at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, for more than 30 years, retiring as Supervisor of Electrical Maintenance in 1965. He was a member and former executive board member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 456, New Brunswick. At the time of his death, he was the oldest living member of his union local organization.

He was an elder in The Presbyterian Church and served many years on the Session of his church in New Brunswick. While residing with his son in LaVale, he attended First Presbyterian Church in Cumberland.

Surviving are three sons, Joseph Orlick and wife Shirley, Inverness, Ill., Charles Orlick and wife Mae, LaVale, and Alexander Orlick and wife Veronica, Milltown, N.J.; one daughter, Elsie Racz and husband Richard, West Chesterfield, Mass.; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

At Mr. Orlick's request, his body was cremated.

A memorial service will be conducted at The Presbyterian Church, New Brunswick, on Saturday, June 13, 1998, at 11 a.m.

Interment in the Franklin Memorial Park, Franklin Township, N.J., will preceded the services at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the Memorial Fund, The Presbyterian Church, 100 Livingston Ave., New Brunswick, NJ 08901.

RONALD M. ORNDORFF
LEESBURG, Va. - Ronald Miles Orndorff, 56, of Leesburg, formerly of Ellerslie, Md., died Saturday, April 4, 1998, at his home.
Born June 1, 1941, in Mount Savage, Md., he was a son of Raymond M. Orndorff Sr., of Ellerslie, and the late Sarah M. (Hotchkiss) Orndorff.

Surviving are his fiancee Shelley A. Irvine of Leesburg; two sons, Miles A. Orndorff and wife Sherry, Hyndman, Pa., and Mark A. Orndorff and wife Missy, Memphis, Tenn.; three brothers, Raymond M. Orndorff Jr., Rocky Mount, N.C., Eugene A. "Butch" Orndorff, Damascus, Md., and Donald D. "Duffy" Orndorff, Ellerslie; and two sisters, Georgia Lee Carder, Peoria, Ill., and Helen Ann Schoffstall, Salisbury, Md.

Mr. Orndorff was employed by the Hechinger Corp. in Leesburg.

He served in the U.S. Navy, and was a member of the Purcellville, Va., American Legion, the Barrelville Outdoor Club, the Kennells Mills Sportsmans Club, and the Good Fellowship Club of Cumberland, Md.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Rebecca J. Vardiman officiating. Interment will be in the Maryland State Veterans cemetery at Rocky Gap.

Military honors will be accorded by the Combined Veterans Honor Guard.

VIRGINIA M. ORNDOFF
CUMBERLAND - Virginia Mae Orndoff, 75, of Cumberland, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1998, at her residence.
Born March 17, 1923, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Thomas B. and Anna May (Miller) Jones. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde E. "Pat" Orndoff; four brothers, Carl, Thomas, Clarence and Arthur Jones; one sister, Mildred Green; and one grandson, Richard C. "Emmett" Orndoff Jr., whom she dearly loved.

Mrs. Orndoff was a cosmetologist for Rosenbaum's Department Store. She was a graduate of Allegany High School and a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

Surviving are one son, Richard C. Orndoff Sr., Cumberland; one grandson, Shawn Orndoff, Orlando, Fla.; two brothers, Richard D. Jones and wife Betty Lou, Cresaptown, Claude W. Jones and wife Jeanne, Corriganville; one sister, Anna Lee Landenberger and husband John, Cumberland; and one brother-in-law, Stanley Green, Hagerstown. She also is survived by her step-granddaughter, Hope Smith and her children, Rance and Sierra, Bowling Green.

Graveside services will be conducted at the Maryland State Veterans cemetery at Rocky Gap on Thursday at noon with the Rev. Vance Pastorius, OFM, Cap., officiating.

Interment will follow at the cemetery.

The Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, is in charge of arrangements.

The family requests that contributions be made to the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

ANNA O'ROURKE
FROSTBURG - Anna O'Rourke, age 95, of the Allegany County Nursing Home, formerly of 83 W. Main St., Frostburg, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1998, at the nursing home.
Born April 11, 1903, in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Annie (Feldmann) O'Rourke. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Mrs. Ruth (O'Rourke) Lindeman. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Miss O'Rourke was a retired teacher from Allegany County Schools. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Frostburg.

Surviving are several cousins.

Friends will be received Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael's on Friday at 9:30 a.m. with the Rev. William Moody as celebrant.

Interment will be in St. Michael's Parish cemetery.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the Allegany County Nursing Home or to St. Michael's Catholic Church.

JAMES T. O'ROURKE
PORTSMOUTH, R.I. - James T. O'Rourke of Portsmouth, an environmental engineer, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 1998, at Newport Hospital in Newport, R.I., following a motor vehicle accident in Middletown, R.I. He was 63.
Born in Cumberland, Md., he was the son of the late Hugh Michael and Kathleen (Cunningham) O'Rourke. Mr. O'Rourke was a graduate of LaSalle High School, Class of 1952.

He earned his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Rhode Island and master's degree in sanitary engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. Mr. O'Rourke received a doctorate in civil engineering from Stanford University.

Before completing his education, he served as a marine on the USS Antietam during the Korean War.

Mr. O'Rourke was president of ChemCycle Corp in Boston. He served as a member and chairman of the advisory council to the College of Engineering at the University of Rhode Island. He also served on the hazardous waste and industrial waste committees of the Water Environmental Federation. During his career, he also was senior vice president for Camp Dresser & McKee of Cambridge and was senior vice president at Metcalf & Eddy in Boston.

Mr. O'Rourke leaves his wife, Rosaleen (Marshall); two sons, Timothy of Fairfax, Va., and Michael of Salem, Mass.; four daughters, Shaun Duncanson of Milford, N.H., Erin Sanford, of Spring, Texas, Carrie Roccos of Columbus, Ohio, and Sarah O'Rourke of Acton, Mass.; two brothers, Robert of Alexandria, Va. and John of Jacksonville, Fla.; and four sisters, Jean Eady and Mary Keller of Cumberland; Sister Rita O'Rourke of Baltimore, and Anne Breaux of Bossier City, La. He leaves 13 grandchildren.

The funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, Jan. 20, at St. Barnabas Catholic Church in Portsmouth, R.I. Burial with military honors was in the Rhode Island Veterans cemetery in Exeter, R.I.

DUNDAS "SCOTTY" ORR
LONACONING - Dundas S. "Scotty" Orr, 98, of Egle Nursing Home, formerly of 1 Robin St., Lonaconing, died Friday, July 3, 1998, at the nursing home. He had been a patient at the nursing home for two years.
Born at Blantyre, Scotland, Dec. 18, 1899, he was a son of the late Robert and Agnes (Simpson) Orr. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes (Horne) Orr; and one daughter, Agnes F. Gronning. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Mr. Orr was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing, on Monday, July 6, 1998, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. with the Rev. Leslie R. Miles, M.D. officiating.

At Mr. Orr's request his body will be cremated.
