EDWARD R. TAYLOR
CUMBERLAND - Edward Roland Taylor, 84, of 526 Avondale Ave., Cumberland, died Friday, March 13, 1998, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born May 7, 1913, in Pierce, W.Va., he was the son of the late Edward Malcom Taylor and the late Edna Louella (Post) Taylor.

Mr. Taylor was retired from the spinning department of the Celanese Fibers Corporation of America.

Surviving are a wife, Mary Anna (Atkinson) Taylor, Cumberland; two sons, Edward W. Taylor and wife, Christina, LaVale, and Gerald W. Taylor and wife, Rebecca, Cumberland; one stepson, Robert E. Adams and wife, Sandra, Cumberland; one daughter, Susan T. Haydon and husband, Charles, Weems, W.Va.; 11 grandchildren, Edward W. Taylor Jr., Michael J. Taylor, William Taylor, Theresa A. Holt, Shawn Taylor, James F. Riley III, William S. Riley, Holly Erin Taylor, Megan Kathleen Taylor, Robin B. Cannon and Christopher Adams; and three great-grandchildren, Tyler and Joel Cannon and John Dignan.

Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted on Monday at 1 p.m. at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., with the Rev. Raymond McCoy officiating.

Interment will be in Hillcrest Burial Park. The rosary will be prayed by the Cumberland Historic cemetery Organization on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. The grandsons will be pallbearers.

EVELYN G. TAYLOR
CUMBERLAND - Evelyn Grace (McGaughey) Taylor, 83, of Cumberland, passed on Thursday, July 16, 1998, at her residence.
Born Dec. 4, 1914, in Elkins, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Robert C. and Margaret Elizabeth (Donaldson) McGaughey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland H. Taylor, on July 27, 1993. She also was preceded in death by one brother, John McGaughey; and her sister, Virginia D. Phillips.

Mrs. Taylor was retired from the Town and Country Department Store, Cumberland. She was a member of the St. Mark's United Church of Christ, a member and past president of the Cumberland Ladies of the Elks, and a member and past president of the Cumberland V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.

Surviving are one son, Leland John Taylor, Cumberland; one daughter, Sondra Mastrino, and husband, Rick, LaVale; two brothers, Russell W. McGaughey, Cumberland; George F. McGaughey, Frostburg; two grandchildren, Charity Taylor, Cresaptown, Rachael Taylor, LaVale; and one great-grandson, Austin Campbell.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Harold T. Shaffer Jr. officiating.

Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family requests contributions be made to the Memorial Hospital Home Hospice Services.

MARIE M. TAYLOR
CUMBERLAND - Marie Mildred Taylor, 80, of Allegany County Nursing Home, Cumberland, formerly of Oldtown, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 1998, at Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 8, 1918, in St. George, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Cleophus and Charlotte (Cross) Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Edward Taylor; and one son, Edward L. Kisamore. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Mrs. Taylor was a former employee of the Celanese Corporation and was a homemaker.

Surviving are one daughter, Dorothy L. Jones and husband, Roy, Oldtown; one son, Charles C. Kisamore and wife, Sonia, Waldorf; one daughter-in-law, Margurette Kisamore, Edgewater; eight grandchildren, Rusty, Butch, Lee, Christina, Angie, Jenny, Kevin and Conni; and six great-grandchildren, Tosha, Ashley, Cody, Breanna, Tiffany and Shawn.

Friends will be received at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Friday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral and interment services will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Richard E. Wilson officiating.

Interment will be in the Maryland Veterans cemetery at Rocky Gap.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Donald Carter, Thomas Sisler, George Nixon, Russell Crabtree, Albert Kinser and Ray Jones.

The family requests contributions be made to the Alzheimers Association of Western Maryland, 1730 N. Market St., Frederick, MD 21701.

WAYNE C. TAYLOR
FLINTSTONE - Wayne Craig Taylor, 47, of Flintstone, died Friday, Nov. 20, 1998.
Born Aug. 31, 1951, in Prince Georges County, he was the son of the late Don James and Dorothy (Strickland) Taylor.

Mr. Taylor owned and operated Taylor Trucking. He was a member of the Moose Lodge 271, the Flintstone and Chaneysville volunteer fire departments and the Woodmen of the World, and was a lifetime member of NRA.

Surviving are his wife Judy (Potts) Taylor; one son, Tracy Taylor and wife Gina, Flintstone; two grandchildren, Whitney and Caleb Taylor; one brother, Lester A. Taylor; and four sisters, Donna L. Atchley, Bel Air, Judy L. Nelson, Darcelle Thompson, and Robin G. Neilson, all of Flintstone.

Friends will be received at the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary, 1302 National Highway, LaVale, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Fred Iser officiating.

Interment will be in the Fairview Christian cemetery.

Contributions may be made to the Flintstone Volunteer Fire Department.

Pallbearers will be Claude Dolly, Dayton Dolly, Aden Stonestreet, Darrell Stonestreet, Tommy Robosson and Dick Roland Sr.

BETTY M. TEETER
CRESAPTOWN - Betty M. Teeter, 68, of Frederick, formerly of Cresaptown, died Thursday, July 30, 1998, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born Feb. 27, 1930, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late William and Sarah (Crosten) Price. She also was preceded in death by her first husband, James Edward McKenney, and one son, Gary McKenney.

Mrs. Teeter had been employed as an L.P.N. at Lions Manor Nursing Home and she operated Teeter's Tots daycare center in Cresaptown. She had attended Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Burley Teeter; one daughter, Gail Page, and husband, Ronald, Hagerstown; one step son, Gary Teeter, Catonsville; one step daughter, Barbara Abrams, Austin, Texas; one grandson, Shane F. Page, Mt. Airy; two step granddaughters, Theresa Boehm, Woodstock, Ga.; and Christine McDermott, Austin; and one brother, Howard "Jack" Price Sr., Bel Air.

Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., Greene and Smallwood streets, Cumberland, on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Dallas Forren officiating. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

FRANK F. TEETS
FRIENDSVILLE - Frank Foster Teets, 94, of 127 Teets Road, Friendsville, died Sunday, May 3, 1998, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland.
Born May 27, 1903, in Hazelton, W.Va., he was the son of the late Jeremiah Teets and Laura Belle (Glover) Teets, and was the last surviving member of his family.

He was a retired farmer and a member of the Hazelton Church of the Brethren and Woodmen of the World Lodge 45.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Harvey Teets; and three sisters, Cora Fike and Ada Herring, Farmington, Pa., and Edith Frazee, Friendsville.

Surviving are his wife, Agnes (Van Sickle) Teets; one daughter, Marybelle Lohr, Friendsville; one grandson, Gary Lohr; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Friendsville, Tuesday from 1 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 6, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Milliren officiating.

Interment will be in Blooming Rose cemetery.
