ANNA E. WORKMAN
FROSTBURG - Anna E. Workman, 96, formerly of Frostburg, died Monday, July 14, 1997, at Randolph Hills Nursing Center, Rockville.
She was the daughter of the late Henry and Susan (McIntyre) Wiebrecht. She also was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Workman.
Mrs. Workman was co-owner of Workman's Restaurant from 1940 to 1957. She taught at the old Long Stretch Elementary School after graduating from Frostburg State University in 1920 and until her death, she was the oldest living graduate of that institution. She was a house mother there from 1958 to 1966.
She also was the oldest living member of the First Presbyterian Church of Frostburg.
Surviving are one son, John R. Workman and wife Theo, Rockville; two grandsons, John C. Workman, Gaithersburg, and Mark C. Workman, Olney; and two brothers, William Wiebrecht, Frostburg, and Kenneth Wiebrecht, Hagerstown.
Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home, Frostburg, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Steven Shussett officiating.
Interment will be in the Frostburg Memorial Park.

RAYMOND W. "EAGLE" WRATCHFORD
BALTIMORE - Raymond Warren "Eagle" Wratchford, 75, of 3521 Third Street, Baltimore, died Monday, Oct. 27, 1997, at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born on Nov. 12, 1921, at Cumberland, the son of the late George W. and Margaret B. Wratchford, and he was raised in Ridgeley, W.Va.
Mr. Wratchford had been employed in law enforcement with the Baltimore City Police Department, and he had served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred L. Williamson Wratchford, Baltimore; and three sons, Richard W. Wratchford, Jeffrey A. Wratchford, Raymond K. Wratchford; daughter, Vicky L. Swift; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at at the McCully-Polyniak Funeral Home, Brooklyn, Baltimore, on Tuesday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home Wednesday, Oct. 29, 1997, at 1 p.m.
Interment will be in Cedar Hill cemetery, Baltimore.
COLLEEN B. WRIGHT
FULTON - Colleen Belle Wright, 61, of Fulton, formerly of Frostburg, died Monday, Dec. 29, 1997, at Howard County General Hospital, Columbia.
She was born Aug. 19, 1936, in Frostburg, the daughter of the late Kenneth E. and Helen M. Pollock. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Wright.
Mrs. Wright was a graduate of Beall High School and Frostburg State University, both of Frostburg. She was a former elementary school teacher, having taught for 32 years at Bond Mill Elementary School, Laurel.
She is survived by two daughters, Kelly M. Herman, Catonsville, and Tracy L. Blackburn, Mount Airy; a son, Michael P. Wright, Hanover, Pa.; a brother, Kenneth W. Pollock, New Market; and five grandchildren.
Family will receive friends at the Fleck Funeral Home, 7601 Sandy Spring Rd., Laurel, on Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m., and on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A special Prayer Service will be held on Thursday at 3 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at St. Louis Catholic Church, 12500 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, on Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Richard J. Bozzelli officiating.
Interment will be in the Gate of Heaven cemetery, Silver Spring.
P. RICHARD WRIGHT
CUMBERLAND - P. Richard "Dick" Wright, 74, of Cumberland, died Saturday, Sept. 6, 1997, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.
Born Dec. 9, 1922, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Percival Raymond and Minnie (Heavner) Wright.
Mr. Wright was a World War II veteran having served in the U.S. Navy. He was retired from the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company having worked from 1946 to 1983. He worked on the balance crew. Mr. Wright was Methodist by faith. He was a member of Fort Cumberland Post No. 13 American Legion, Henry Hart Post No. 1411 VFW, and the Cumberland Outdoor Club.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy (Grim) Wright; one daughter, Phyllis Kimball and husband Alan, Warner Robins, Ga.; and two grandchildren, Michael and Bradley Kimball.
Friends will be received at the George-Upchurch Funeral Home, 202 Greene St., Cumberland, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Richard Jewell officiating.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale.

VIRGINIA B. WRIGHT
CUMBERLAND - Virginia Baldwin Wright, 79, of Willow Valley Apartments, Cumberland, died Sunday, March 30, 1997, at Memorial Hospital.
Born August 21, 1917, in Keyser, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Stewart C. and Bessie (Leatherman) Baldwin. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Wright and son, James Wright.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the Salvation Army Sunday Bible Class.
Surviving are her brother, Edwin F. Baldwin, McCoole; three sisters, Beatrice Eisenhardt, Lutherville, Christine Willis, Holly Hill, Fla., and Joyce Benton, Titusville, Fla.; one granddaughter, Deborah Redman, Phoenix, Ariz.; two great-grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
At her request, the body was cremated.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 1997, at 10 a.m. at Willow Valley Apartments, Furnace St., with Bishop Steve Whited and Mary Hart, volunteer for the Salvation Army, officiating.
The Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, Lonaconing, is in charge of the arrangements.
BRUCE C. WAGNER
OLDTOWN - Bruce Conrad Wagner, 78, of Oldtown, died Tuesday, July 22, 1997, at his residence.
Born September 30, 1918, in Oldtown, he was the son of the late William C. and Anna S. (Bean) Wagner. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalee (Hickey) Wagner.
Mr. Wagner was retired from Frostburg State University. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Green Spring Assembly of God Church, and a lifetime member of Oldtown VFW.
Surviving are two sons, Allan Wagner and wife Judith, Spring Gap, and Glen Wayne Wagner and wife Catherine, Oldtown; one brother, William C. Wagner, Oldtown; one sister, Leona C. DeShong, Oldtown; three grandchildren, Steve Wagner and wife Vickie, Spring Gap, David Wagner and Michael Kitzmiller, both of Oldtown, two great-grandchildren; and special friend, Violet Peck.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Fred F. Parker officiating.
Interment will be in Oldtown Veterans cemetery.
Military honors will be accorded by the Combined Veterans Honor Guard.
