Tall, Hilda B.
Hilda B. Tall, 85, of Cambridge, passed away at her home early Friday morning, June 27, 2003. She was the wife of the late Webster R. "Webb" Tall.
She was born in Cambridge on March 2, 1918, the daughter of the late John T. and Laura Rasche Bailey. She was raised in Cambridge and a 1937 graduate of C.H.S. As a young woman she worked for 13 years at the Skinner Wholesale Grocery Co. and then entered the employ of the Farmers and Merchants National Bank. Mrs. Tall later became Assistant Vice President of the local bank and when the bank was bought by First National Bank she served as Branch Officer, until retiring in 1982. On December 11, 1937 she was married to Mr. Tall, who passed away on August 5, 1971.
Mrs. Tall was a member of Grace United Methodist Church for over 60 years, serving on the board of trustees and as treasurer of the D.D. Club. She was also a member and volunteer in the local A.A.R.P. Chapter 1278, a charter member of the Cambridge Quota Club, and a supporter and Friend of the Pleasant Day Adult Day Care Center.
She is survived only by two cousins, Jackie Jones Vickers of Cambridge, whom she raised as a daughter with her husband Webb, and close lifelong friends, Walter "Shots" and Evelyn Tanner. She is preceded in death by a brother, J. Mace Bailey.
A graveside service will be conducted by Rev. Douglas M. Ridley at Dorchester Memorial Park on Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. There will be no calling hours. Memorials may be made to Grace U.M. Church, 501 Race St., Cambridge, MD 21613.

Ulvila, Harry
HARRY O. ULVILA, 71, of the Annemessex Ridge Area of Crisfield, Maryland and formerly of Massachusetts, died Thursday, January 4, 2007 at his home.
Born in Quincy, Massachusetts on February 8, 1935, he was the son of the late Eino and Aune Seppala Ulvila of Finland. He had been a resident of Crisfield for six years.
He was a graduate of Pembroke High School in Pembroke, Massachusetts and attended North Eastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. He was a retired co-owner of the former Coastal Yachts in Massachusetts and earlier, was 1st Vice President of sales with Cape Dory Yachts in Massachusetts and Maine.
Accepted in the Air Cadet Flight Training Program, Mr. Ulvila was a highly decorated United States Air Force veteran. A "true Top Gun", he was a fighter pilot who completed two tours of duty in Vietnam, and served in excess of 14 years. He was very proud of his military service, and remained very close to his Air Force Family.
He was a member of the Massachusetts Marine Traders Association, and formerly served on the Annemessex Ridge Board.
He is survived by his wife of almost 49 years, Ann Ulvila of Crisfield; a daughter, Laura Barron of Duxbury, Massachusetts; a son, Eric Ulvila of Duxbury, Massachusetts; and three grandchildren, Gabrielle Barron, Lily Ulvila and Thomas Barron.
Funeral services with military honors by the United States Air Force will be held Monday, January 8, 2007 at 11 AM at Mariners United Methodist Church in Crisfield where friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Stephen S. Willing will officiate. Interment will be in Sunnyridge Memorial Park near Crisfield.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be sent to the Somerset County Library System for Youth Literacy Programs, 11767 Beechwood Street, Princess Anne, Maryland 21853.

Unsworth, Samuel C.
Samuel C. Unsworth, 73 of Cambridge, passed away on Friday May 6, 2005 at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home in Charlotte Hall, MD. He was born at Easton on February 9, 1933 and was a son of the late Carroll and Katie Mae Wooters Unsworth.
Sam graduated from Denton High School in 1951. He served in the U.S. Air Force from November 15, 1951 until November 14, 1955. While serving in the Air Force he had been stationed in England. Sam worked as a life insurance salesman for over 30 years. He was a member of Dorchester Post # 91 American Legion and was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans At Large. He had been a resident at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home where he passed away on Friday morning.
He is survived by two sons Jeff Unsworth of Smithsburg, MD and Sam Unsworth of Lakewood, Ohio; one grandson Ryan Christopher Unsworth, two brothers James Unsworth and Earl Gardner both of Cambridge; two sisters Kay Nagler of North Carolina and Alice Burgess of Greensboro and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers Joseph W. Unsworth and Harvey S. Unsworth.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 PM at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery near Hurlock. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until noon on Wednesday at the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Coastal Hospice Foundation, P.O. Usner, Florence
FLORENCE M. USNER, 90, of Crisfield and formerly of Milford, New Jersey, died Friday, July 13, 2007 at McCready Memorial Hospital in Crisfield.
She was a homemaker, and had been making her home in Crisfield for the past 10 years.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles H. and Esther Usner of Crisfield; two grandchildren, Jackquelyn Usner of Crisfield and Charles J. Usner and his wife Valerie of Hereford, Pennsylvania; and one great-granddaughter, Stephanie Usner.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Usner in 1997; and she was the last of several brothers and sisters.
Private graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2007 in Milford Union Cemetery in Milford, New Jersey. The Rev. Bob Daniels will officiate.

Unverzagt, Franklin O.
Franklin O. Unverzagt, 86, of Hurlock, passed away at the Mallard Bay Care Center in Cambridge early Friday morning, June 27, 2003. He was the husband of the late Mary Thomas Unverzagt.
He was born in Baltimore on November 9, 1917, the son of the late Albert Unverzagt and Sophie Walters. From the age of 12 he was raised by the late Alan and Ada Christopher. He was a life long farmer, who owned and operated his farm near Hurlock. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Military Police Officer. In December of 1952 he was married to Mary Thomas, who passed away in November of 1977. He was a past member of the American Legion #243 of Hurlock.
He is survived by three daughters, Daisy Werkheiser of Delmar, MD, Mary Ann Schultz, and Linda L. Willey both of Hurlock, two grandchildren Mandi L. Schultz of Myrtle Beach S.C. and Ryan Schultz, U.S. Navy of Diego Garcia.
A funeral service will be conducted at the Thomas Funeral Home on Tuesday July 1, 2003 at 2 P.M. by the Chaplain Dave Duitscher. Burial will take place at East New Market Cemetery. Friends will be received by the family one hour before the service. Memorials may be made to The American Parkinsons Disease Association, 4049 Oakland School Rd. Salisbury, Md. 21804 and the Hurlock Volunteer Fire Company Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 178, Hurlock, Md. 21643.

Ullrich, Saralee
Berlin - Saralee Ullrich 55, of Berlin died Sunday, January 14, 2007 at Atlantic General Hospital. Born in Berlin she was the daughter of the late George Latchum and Myrtle Massey Latchum. She was preceded in death by a son Brian Ullrich.
Mrs. Ullrich was a breast cancer survivor. A member of The American Legion in Berlin, she loved computers and Stephen King novels.
She is survived by her husband Charles M. Ullrich of Berlin, one son Erik Ullrich of Berlin, one sister Ann Lewis and husband George of Bishopville, one brother George Jeffery Latchum and wife Linda of Berlin. Also, surviving are three sister-in-law's, Susan Fleming, Gerry Swanson and Mary Lou Jones.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 19, 2pm at The Burbage Funeral Home, 108 William St., Berlin, MD, where friends may call one hour prior. Rev. Jay Hurley will officiate. Interment at Riverside Cemetery, Libertytown, MD.
Nahnibida, Paul
On Sunday, December 5, 2004, Lt. Col. Paul Nahnibida. Beloved husband of Rita Donnelly-Nahnibida; loving father of P. Gregory Nahnibida, Paula Morgan and Nancy Breitenbach. Father-in-law to Donna Nahnibida, Stephen Morgan and Glenn Breitenbach. Grandfather of Stacey Duncan, Nicole Porter, Courtney McAvoy, Ashley Morgan, Brandee Breitenbach and Tyler Breitenbach. Great-grandfather to Zachary Duncan and Noah Porter.
The family will receive visitors at the family owned Singleton Funeral Home from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 on Thursday. A Vigil Service will be held at 3 P.M. on Thursday. The Funeral Ceremony will be held at 9 A.M. on Friday at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 7436 Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard, Glen Burnie, 21061. Interment in Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
Naumann, Louis
On March 21, 2005, Louis Naumann of Glen Burnie. Beloved husband of the late Carrie C. Naumann; Devoted father of James, Robert and Charles Naumann; Loving brother of Henry Gause and Sally Knapp; Dearest grandfather of 5 and great-grandfather of 5.
Louis worked as a carpenter for DuPont as well as a mechanic at the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene. He served his country in the US Army from 1941 to 1945. He enjoyed painting, playing chess and watching westerns.
The family will receive visitors at the family owned Singleton Funeral Home from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM on Wednesday. The funeral ceremony will be held on Thursday (3/24) at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
