ELAINE BERNADINE MORGAN
Age 82, of Goodells, died July 13, 2002. Mrs. Morgan retired from Lionel Trains in Chesterfield and was a former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Emmett, Daughters of Isabella, Emmett and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Gleason-Butler Sharp VFW Post 5595 Goodells. She is survived by her daughters, Norita Vergini of California, JoeAnn Krauss of Mt. Morris and Kim of Casco; sons, Gerald of Bay City and Daniel of Mount Clemens; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Darwin, Clinton, Lyman and Gary. Mrs. Morgan was predeceased by her husband, Joseph; and a brother, Donald. Services were held in Kaatz Funeral Home, Richmond, with Father Joseph Horn officiating. Cremation at Meadowcrest Crematorium, Detroit. Arrangements were made by Christie-Olszewski Funeral Home, New Baltimore. Burial was in Mount Carmel cemetery, Emmett.

GORDON L. CONSTANCE
Age 64, of St. Clair, died July 16, 2002. Mr. Constance prior to retirement owned and operated several businesses. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Constance is survived by his sons, Mark of National City, Terry of Garden City; daughters, Michelle Sockow and Kelly Metcalf, both of Illinois and Kathi Sockow St. Clair; 14 grandchildren; brothers, Ronald of Alabama and Wayne of Armada; and sisters, Joyce Purdy of Meade and Janet D'Agostine of AuGres. He was predeceased by his brother, George; and sisters, Rosaline Durst, Joan Sinkule and Eileen DiBernado. Services were held in Tiffany-Young and Hauss Funeral Home, Armada. Memorials can be made to the family or the American Heart Association.

WALTER H. VerHoven
Age 92, of Harsen's Island, died Jan. 24, 2003. Mr. VerHoven is survived by his sons, Raymond, Jerome, Donald and Robert; daughters, Marilyn Cantalini and Rosalind Sutton; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sisters, Rita VerHoven and Dorothy DeLalla. He was predeceased by his wife, Charlotte; and a granddaughter. Services Were held in St. Mark's Catholic Church, Harsen's Island. Arrangements were made by Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. Memorials can be made to St. John's Hospice or Capuchon Monastery.

BUDDY S. ZUKOWSKI
Age 64, of Memphis, died Jan. 24, 2003. Mr. Zukowski was employed by the Memphis schools as a maintenance man. He is survived by his wife, Deanna; children, Ricci Murdick of Missouri and Daniel Bloss of Memphis; five grandchildren; and sisters, Diane Dawson of Prudenville and Patty Zukowski of Highland. Private family services were held with arrangements made by Kammeraad Funeral Home, Memphis.

LINDA M. O'CONNOR-PARSELL
Age 58, of East China, died Jan. 29, 2003. Mrs. Parsell is survived by her husband, Earl; daughters, Mary O'Connor, Laura Furtah and Mary Bawal; sons, Earl and Dan Parsell; brother, Mark Kiser and Will Murfey III; sisters, Gwynn and Wendy Murfey; and five grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Thomas O'Connor. Services were held in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Fair Haven. Arrangements were made by Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac.

SCOTT T. GIBSON
Age 46, of St. Clair, died Jan. 28, 2003. Mr. Gibson worked in the corporate and private sector as a financial analyst and the state department as a foreign service specialist and active in community organizations. He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Kay Gibson of East China; sister, Susan Uppleger of East China; grandmother, Adeline Gibson of Fort Gratiot; and many extended family members. Services were held in Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China. Burial was in Rosehill cemetery. Memorials can be made to River District Hospital Development Fund.

ARNOLD JOSEPH WALSH
Age 80, of New Baltimore, died Jan. 24, 2003. Mr. Walsh was retired as a master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and a member of VFW Post 7573 in New Baltimore. He is survived by his wife, Rose Gayrelda; sons, Robert of Bay City, Brian of New Baltimore and Greg of Texas; daughters, Betty Markham of Texas and Joyce Cornellie of Petosky; 13 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Arrangements were made by Christie-Olszewski Funeral Home, New Baltimore. Cremation at Meadowcrest cemetery, Detroit.

JAYLYNN KIMBERLY MOLINARO
Age 4 days, of Port Huron Township, died Jan. 23, 2003. Jaylynn is survived by her parents, Jack and Jennifer Molinaro of Port Huron Township; sister, Lily; grandparents, Wesley and Kimberly Frizzle of Traverse City, David and Kimberly Theike of Port Huron Township, Jack Molinaro of Burtchville and Cheryl Molinaro of Port Huron; great-grandparents, James and Vivian Frizzle of Marysville, Dennis and Valerie Genaw of Port Huron Township, Frank and Dianna Dalton of Florida and Joseph and Jennie Molinaro of Marysville; great-great-grandparents: Helen Genaw of Port Huron Township and Alex and Ethel Barry of Florida; and many extended family members. Jaylynn was predeceased by her grandmother, Karen Frizzle. Services were held in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home, with the Rev. Stephen C. Johnson of Hillside Wesleyan Church, officiating. Burial was in Ruby cemetery, Clyde Township.

HAROLD A. LATSON
Age 88, of Niles, died Jan. 16, 2003. Mr. Latson was a veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Army. He was a master builder and woodworker and was employed by Kaneer Company in Niles. Mr. Latson is survived by his daughters, Susanne Hess of California and Mary Jane Armstrong of Harsen's Island; and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Millicent. Arrangements were made by Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. Cremation has taken place.

IRENE MONFETTE
Age 94, of Richmond, died Jan. 25, 2003. Mrs. Monfette was a homemaker. She is survived by a son, Gerard of Richmond; and daughters, Cecile Schneider of Richmond and Jacqueline Hart of California; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Stella. Mrs. Monfette was predeceased by her husband, Elphege; a grandson; and ten brothers and sisters. Services were held in Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond, with the Rev. Dennis Nowinski, chaplain of Harper Hospital, officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery, Detroit. Memorials can be made to IHM Motherhouse, Monroe.

MARGARET M. WELSHKO
Age 69, of Algonac, died Jan. 30, 2003. Mrs. Welshko was a member of Holy Cross Church in Marine City, choir, Daughters of Isabella and the funeral luncheon committee. She formerly owned and operated the Fair Haven Party Store (formerly Smitty's). Mrs. Welshko is survived by her husband, Michael Jr; sons, Rod, Robert and Rick, all of Algonac; daughters, Rhonda of Algonac and Rachelle Crawford of Sterling Heights; nine grandchildren; and a sister, Vivian Prinz of Florida. She was predeceased by her sister, Patty Rippy. Services were held in Holy Cross Church, with the Rev. George T. Browne officiating. Arrangements were made by Bower-Rose Funeral Home, Marine City. Burial was in the church cemetery.

ROY GERALD VanTIEM
Age 88, of New Baltimore, died Jan. 29, 2003. Mr. VanTiem was a farmer and retired as a custodian for the Anchor Bay Schools, and a member of St. Mary Queen of Creation Church, New Baltimore, usher club and Knights of Columbus Richmond Council. He is survived by his wife, Mary; sons, James of New Baltimore and Donald of Richmond; sisters, Bernice Heath of Marine City and Martha Schweiger of New Baltimore; and six grandchildren. Mr. VanTiem was predeceased by a daughter, Cecelia; brothers, Leslie and Clarence; and sisters, Vera DeSnyder and Marie Ringel. Services were held in St. Mary Queen of Creation Church, New Baltimore, with the Rev. Nicholas Zukowski officiating. Arrangements were made by Gendernalik Funeral Home, New Baltimore. Burial was in St. Mary cemetery. Memorials can be made to donor's choice.

DANIEL ROBERT MARTIN
Age 55, of Casco, died Jan. 27, 2003. Mr. Martin was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the U.S. Army. He was employed by Michigan Product Manufacturing in Macomb as a machinist. Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, Carol; and a sister, Anne Collins of South Carolina. He was predeceased by his brother, Tommy. Services were held in Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond. Burial was in Fort Custer Veteran cemetery, Battle Creek, with the Rev. Woodrow Nelson, of Columbus Bible Church, officiating. Memorials are suggested to his family.
