Age 95, of Richmond, died July 1, 2003. Mrs. Dawe was retired as a dispatcher for Richmond Police Department and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Donna of Sterling Heights and Linda Morrin of Smiths Creek; sons, Ellis of Richmond, Wesley of Tennessee, Curtis of Port Huron and Kenneth of Westland; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth; daughters, Eleanor and Ruth Tustin; and brother, Harold Urmy. Services were held in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond, with Rev. Reed Swanson officiating. Burial was in Richmond cemetery.

FREDERICK A. SCHWEIHOFER
Age 94, of St. Clair, died July 5, 2003. Mr. Schweihofer was a lifetime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair, the Usher's Club, K of C Council 2251 and the Farm Bureau. He is survived by his daughters, LuAnn Rhein and Doris Rozborski, both of St. Clair, Margaret West of Croswell, and Elaine Yielding of Arizona; son, Frederick J. of Sterling Heights; 24 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and many extended family members. He was predeceased by his wife, Lucille; brothers, Aloysius, Bill, and Walter; sisters, Mamie Stier, Cynthia Simons, Katerine Umlauf, Margaret Distelrath, Lena Pauly and Margaret Joseph. Services were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Frederick J. Schweihofer of St. Rene Goupil Catholic Church, officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery. Arrangements were made by Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China. Memorials may be made to Blue Water Hospice, St. Vincent DePaul or St. Mary's Church.

RAYMOND LEROY. EAGLE
Age 47, of Port Huron Township, died July 5, 2003. Mr. Eagle was retired from the New Haven Foundry after 25 years. He is survived by his wife, Roberta; daughters, Roberta Collinge of Port Huron and Brenda Thompson of Kimball; son, Raymond II of Port Huron; four grandchildren; mother, Myrtle Eagle; brothers, Dave VanCamp, Bob, Steve and Joe Eagle, all of Port Huron, and Mike Eagle of Kimball; sisters, Linda of Port Huron and Rose Caris of Lapeer; and many extended family members. He was predeceased by his father, Raymond. Services were held at Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with Bernie Long of Sparlingville Wesleyan Church, officiating.

FRANK A. IMBRUNONE
Age, 78, of China Township, died July 30, 2003. Mr. Imbrunone was employed for 33 years with ACAR Broach in Warren. He served his country in the U.S. Army and in the Merchant Marines during World War II. Mr. Imbrunone is survived by his wife, Caroline; sons, David, Mike and Tom; step-daughters: Sandra Jones and Laura Abraam; and eight grandchildren. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements were made by Young Colonial Funeral Home in China Township.

AXIE OULLETTE KAMMER
Age 85, of Perris, California, formerly of Marine City, died July 13, 2003. Mrs. Kammer is survived by her son, Michael of Oregon; daughters, Suzanne Frizzle of Washington State and Linda Moran of California; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sisters, Ellen Arnold of East China and Wanda of Oullette of Marine City. She was predeceased by her husband, Laverne; four sisters; and one brother. Services were held at Riverside California and Riverside cemetery in California.

NANCY BEVINS
Age, 69, of Clay Township, died July 29, 2003. Mrs. Bevins was retired from Bundy Corporation in Marine City. Mrs. Bevins is survived by her daughters, Mary Rose of Kentucky, Cheryl Koelsch of St. Clair, Cary Listerman of Armada, Thelma Julien of Clay Township, Maria Anderson of Marine City and Denise Genaw of Marine City; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald and Bobby Ray Dameron, both of Kentucky; and sisters, Bonnie Thacker and Betty Jo Morton, both of Kentucky, and Gladys Hunt of Capac. She was predeceased by her husband, Herman; two brothers; and three sisters. Services were held in the Bower-Rose Funeral Home in Marine City. Burial was in McCafferty cemetery in Bruce Township. Memorials may be made directly to the family.

JOHN J. DOUGARD, JR.
Age 54, of Clay Township, died July 29, 2003. Mr. Dougard was employed by Utica Enterprises Inc. Mr. Dougard is survived by his wife, Robin; mother, Francis; and many extended family members. He was predeceased by his father, John Dougard Sr. Services were held at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in China Township. Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.

RALPH AARON FURTAH
Age 72, of Marine City, died July 24, 2003. Mr. Furtah was a member of the Laborers Union 1076. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Mr. Furtah is survived by his son, Wayne; daughters, Christine, Mary Darrah, Becky Leitch, Sue Basney, Wendy Weglarz and Irene Dort; step-daughters, Sue Carrier and Peggy Smith; 21 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, James and Kenneth; and many extended family members. He was predeceased by his wife, Doris; brothers, David, Thomas and Harry; and sisters, Edith, Ruth and Marie. Services were held at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in China Township. Burial was in Woodlawn cemetery in Marine City.

STANLEY F. AXTELL
Age 78, of Clay Township, died July 31, 2003. Mr. Axtell was a retired pipe fitter for Pipe Fitters Local 636 in Detroit. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a longtime member of the VFW. Mr. Axtell is survived by his sons, David and Daniel, both of Clay Township; daughter, Susan of New Baltimore; three grandchildren; and brother, Kenneth of California. He was predeceased by his wife, Gloria; son, Lance; and infant brother, Russell. Services were held at Bower-Rose Funeral Home in Marine City. Burial was in Woodlawn cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Society.

ROBERT LOUIS SONNENBERG JR.
Age 50, of Clay Township, died July 24, 2003. Mr. Sonnenberg is survived by his daughters, Stacey Donato and Tiffany; parents, Robert and Rhea; two grandchildren; brothers, Leo VandenBossche, Bernard VandenBossche and David VandenBossche; and sister, Valeria Walderzak. Services were held at Gilbert Funeral Home in Algonac with the Rev. Art Fauser officiating.

JULIA ELIZABETH OTTO
Age 85, of New Baltimore, formerly of Caro, died July 27, 2003. Mrs. Otto was a homemaker. Mrs. Otto is survived by her daughter, Betty Lou Woehlert of Florida; 13 grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Stuart of Ohio and Date Nowakowski of Deford. She was predeceased by her husband, Otis; and daughter, Shirley Ann. Services were held at the Chapel of Indian Fields cemetery in Caro. Arrangements were made by the Christie Olszewski Funeral Home in New Baltimore.

WANDA MARY ROSZCZEWSKI
Age 85, of Lenox Township, died July 25, 2003. Mrs. Roszczewski was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Parish and a former member of the National Polish Alliance. Mrs. Roszczewski is survived by her sons, Victor of Casco, Joseph of Lenox Township and James of Oscoda; daughter, Helen of Massachusetts; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph Fillplak of Deckerville; and sister, Helen Wytrychowski of Shelby Township. She was predeceased by her husband, Victor. Services were held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert Blondell officiating. Burial was in Willow Grove cemetery in Richmond Township. Arrangements were made by the Tiffany-Young and Hauss Funeral Home in Armada. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Michigan.

EDWIN L. PRIEHS, JR.
Age 74, of Dryden, died July 28, 2003. Mr. Priehs was a retired road superintendent from John Carlo Inc. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Mr. Priehs was a member of the New Baltimore VFW Post 7575. He is survived by his sons, Geary Sr. of Dryden and Michael Sr. of Romeo; six grandchildren; and sisters, Gertrude Stinger-Werderman of Macomb Township and Helen Foss of Lenox. He was predeceased by his wife, Betty Jane. Services were held at Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church in Dryden, with the Rev. Steven Helms officiating. Burial was in Dryden Center cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Almont.
