CALVIN "CHUB" WESTRICK
Age 76, of St. Clair, died July 17, 2004. Mr. Westrick retired from Chrysler Corporation in Marysville and a member of the St. Clair Fire Department and St. Clair City councilman. He is survived by his wife, Mary; sons, Edward and Jeffrey; a daughter, Cindy Distelrath; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brothers, David and Alan. Services were held in L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, St. Clair, with the Rev. Roland Troike officiating. Burial was in Hillside cemetery. Memorials can be made to Blue Water Hospice or St. Peter's Lutheran Church.

GERALD DENNIS "JAY" WARD
Age 48, of Memphis, died July 17, 2004. Mr. Ward was a self-employed farmer and a member of the Farm Bureau and an alternate board member of the St. Clair County ASC. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; brothers, James of Columbus Township and Richard of Fort Gratiot; sisters, Kathryn Peace of Columbus Township and Sheila Zauner of St. Clair Township; and many extended family members. Mr. Ward was predeceased by his brother, Michael. Services were held in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Columbus Township, with the Rev. Joseph Horn officiating. Arrangements were made by Rewalt Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Richmond. Burial was in St. Philip Neri cemetery.

JOHN WILLIAM ALLOR
Age 77, of Columbus, died July 17, 2004. Mr. Allor was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy and a life member of Richmond James Coleman Post 6802. He retired from Distel Tool and Die Company in Warren. Mr. Allor is survived by his daughters, Diana Greer of Columbus, Mona Caple of California, Jackie Mead of Rapid City, Karla Salmons of Indiana, Billie Perkins of Port Huron, Dawn Tremonti of Oxford and Ellania Allor of Macomb; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Maidens of Fife Lake, Betty Redmond of Mount Clemens, Shirley Rutty of Roseville and Janice Nutting of Warren; son, Ronald of Warren; and many extended family members. He was predeceased by his wife, Billie; a son, John; a grandson; brothers, Donald and William; and a sister, Barbara Redmond. Services were held in Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond, with the Rev. William Huether, of Trinity Lutheran Church, Richmond, officiating. Memorials can be made to the wishes of the family.

FRANKIE A. HURT
Age 59, of Flint, formerly of Memphis, died July 18, 23004. Mrs. Hurt was employed as a parts inspector in the automotive industry. She is survived by her son, Danny of Colorado; daughters, Tammy Hurt of Yale and Frances Smith of Mio; five grandchildren; brothers, Hubert Laney of Mississippi and Charlie Laney of Indiana; sisters, Louise Hurt of Indiana, Evelyn Burkes of Detroit, Nancy Laney of Detroit, Bessie Rickman and Ruby York, both of Kentucky; and many extended family members. Mrs. Hurt was predeceased by her husband, Ellis; and brothers, Wade Jr. and Wade Laney. Services were held in Kammeraad Funeral Home, Memphis. Burial was in Springhill cemetery, Greenwood Township.

WENDY L. WESTRICK
Age 37, of China Township, died July 19, 2004. Mrs. Westrick was employed at Progressive Hardware in Warren. She is survived by her husband, Edward Jr.; parents, Roger and Patricia Schroeder of Caseville; step-children, Edward Westrick III and Michelle Westrick; sister, Christine Platto of Rochester; a brother, Kurt Schroeder of Davisburg; and many extended family members. Services were held in Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China Township. Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society or Blue Water Hospice.

DOROTHEA M. O'CONNOR
Age 87, of Harsen's Island, died July 15, 2004. Mrs. O'Connor is survived by her husband, Danny; daughter, Kathleen O'Connor; and two grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Sharon. Arrangements were made by Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. Memorials can be made to Heartland Hospice, Southfield, Michigan 48034.

LINDA MARIE LATOUR
Age 54, of Casco Township, died July 20, 2004. Mrs. Latour was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Richmond and a choir member and the Community Choir of Richmond. She was employed by Midwest Cutaneous Research Corporation of Clinton Township and was a registered nurse. She is survived by her husband, Charles; daughter, Laura Sobieski of Clinton Township; sons, Brian of Taylor, James of Westland and Steven of Casco Township; two grandchildren; brothers, Eugene Shuboy Jr. of New Baltimore, John and Fred Shuboy both of Casco Township and Thomas Shuboy of Columbus Township; sisters, Susan Thomas of Richmond and Donna Shuboy of Casco Township. Mrs. Latour was predeceased by her daughter, Christine; son, Charles; and a sister, Anna Shuboy. Services were held in St. Augustine Catholic Church, Richmond, with the Rev. James Commyn officiating. Arrangements were made by Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond. Burial was in St. Michaels cemetery, Richmond. Memorials can be made to wishes of the family.

CHRISTINE M. BROCKMILLER
Age 92, of Ira Township, died July 17, 2004. Mrs. Brockmiller was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Fair Haven and Ladies Aid Society. She is survived by her sons, Richard and David, both of Kalkaska and Kenneth of Algonac; daughters, Diane Brockmiller of Algonac and Kathryn Solgot of Fair Haven; 11 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; brothers, Allan Morrison of California and Terrance Morrison of St. Clair; and sisters, June Doktor of Port Huron and Anita Burroughs of St. Clair. Mrs. Brockmiller was predeceased by her husband, Walter; and a son, Allan. Services were held in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Fair Haven, with the Rev. Robert Wagner officiating. Arrangements were made by Bower-Rose Funeral Home, Marine City. Burial will be at a later date in the church cemetery. Memorials can be made to Bower-Rose Funeral Home, Marine City.

SHIRLEY J. TELLER
Age 78, of New Baltimore, died July 18, 2004. Mrs. Teller was a monitor for the Anchor Bay Schools and a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary, St. John's Lutheran Church Altar Guild, also worked at New Baltimore Post Office as a mail carrier and the city of New Baltimore Parks and Recreation Department. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Winter of New Baltimore and Jill Gottler of East China Township; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Barbara Spens of Harrison Township and Maxine Mead of New Baltimore. Mrs. Teller was predeceased by her husband, William; a son, William Jr.; three brothers; and four sisters. Arrangements were made by Gendernalik Funeral Home, New Baltimore.

BEVERLY M. PINKHAM
Age 76, of New Baltimore, died July 19, 2004. Mrs. Pinkham retired from State Bank of Fraser where she was a customer service representative. She is survived by her husband, James; daughters, Sharon Woodside of Fraser and Colleen Pinkham of New Baltimore; brother, John Keelty of Florida; a sister, Iris Smalenberg of Clinton Township; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Pinkham was predeceased by her son, James; and brothers, Frank and George; and a sister, Blanche. Services were held in Gendernalik Funeral Home, New Baltimore, with the Rev. Lori Bonoma. Burial was in Resurrection cemetery, Clinton Township. Memorials can be made to American Diabetes Association or Alzheimer's Association.

GARRY G. BREEN SR.
Age 45, of Washington Township, died July 17, 2004. Mr. Breen was employed by J.P. Asphalt Paving Company in Shelby Township and worked as a truck driver. He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughters, Sheilah of Washington Township and Christina of Algonac; sons, Garry Jr. of Romeo and Joseph Ward of Washington Township, four grandchildren; his father and step-mother, Charles and Dolores Breen of Gould City; brother, David of Massachusetts; sister, Denise Williams of St. Clair Shores; and many extended family members. Mr. Breen was predeceased by his mother, Corliss; and a twin brother, Garth. Services were entrusted to Bower-Rose Funeral Home, Marine City. Memorials can be made to the family.

ALICE S. PREETER,
Age 95, of St. Clair, MI, died Sept. 17, 2004. She was predeceased in 1968 by her first husband, Thomas E. Shawcross, City Clerk of Highland Park, and by her second husband, Lorne Preeter, owner and editor of the Highland Parker and publisher of the Legal Advertiser, in 1990. Born November 7, 1908, in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada into a family of seven brothers, she moved to Detroit in 1926 and was employed at the Chrysler Corporation Headquarters in Highland Park. She retired in 1966. Family was very important to Alice and she is survived by nieces, Jo Ann Hayden Rand, Sandra Hayden Davidson, by nephew, John Hayden, and by many loving grand nieces and grand nephews. A Memorial Eucharist Service will be held at St. Paul Episcopal Church, 115 N. 6th Street, St. Clair, MI 48079, on Sun. Nov. 7 at 1 p.m. Arrangements by A.J. ARTHUR R. BRINCEFIELD,
Age 65 of Armada, died Oct. 31, 2004. He was a life member of Richmond V.F.W Post #6802 and Am Vets #93 of Armada, a member of the Armada Lions Club and Richmond Moose Lodge. He is survived by wife Shirley; daughters Wendy (David) Buettner of Lincoln Park and Lillian Brincefield of Armada; sons Gayle Brincefield of Armada and Peter (Rebekah) Brincefield of Port Huron; 8 grandchildren; brothers James, Lester, Albert, Roy, Roger Brincefield and Joseph LaFlumboise; sisters Carol Rhodes and Linda Moses; lots of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by parents Albert and Lillian Barton Brincefield; brother Johnny Mack; and sister Glenda Schlie. Services are being held on Wednesday Nov. 3, 2pm-8pm at Kaatz Funeral Directors in Richmond. Funeral services will be held Thurs. Nov. 4 at 11 a.m. with 10 a.m. visiting. Rev. J. Randall Withenshaw of Ross Bible Church in Port Huron will be officiating. Memorials are suggested to "Wishes of the family."
