Ida Mary Lantto

Mrs. Ida M. Lantto, age 94, of 12067 Co Rd 37 NW, Annandale died Monday, February 21, 2005 at the Buffalo Hospital.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 24, 2005 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, French Lake with Rev. Edward Groop officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, French Lake. Friends may call one hour prior to services on Thursday at the church.
Ida Mary Lantto was born November 18, 1910 in French Lake Township, Wright County to Jake and Minnie (Runbeck) Hillstrom. She married Elmer J. Lantto June 10, 1933 and he preceded her in death October 31, 1983. Ida was a lifetime resident of French Lake Township where she was homemaker and also farmed with her husband. She was a member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, French Lake.
She is survived by 5 children and their spouses, John (Florence) of South Haven, Myrtle Bailey of Annandale, Alice (Dale) Weese of Buffalo, Agnes Gunnerson of Annandale, and James (Janet) of Annandale; 14 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and a great great granddaughter. Her husband; 4 brothers; and 3 sisters preceded her in death.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Gunnerson, Bradley Lantto, David Miller, Steven Weese, Randy Lantto, Kenneth Lantto, and John Saari. Music for the service provided by Margaret Groop.
Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral care, Annandale.

John Stewart Hasslen

John S. Hasslen, Jr., age 86, of Annandale died Sunday, April 10, 2005 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 14, 2005 at St. John`s Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. David Doppenberg and Rev. Craig Richter officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery, Howard Lake. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to services at the church. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials are preferred to the American Diabetes Association or Annandale Pioneer Park.
John Stewart Hasslen, Jr. was born June 5, 1918 in St. Paul to John S. Hasslen, Sr. and Frieda (Aronson) Hasslen. He married Florence Cochran October 12, 1940 in Minnetonka and she preceded him in death on July 16, 2001. He served his Country in the U.S. Navy during WW II in the South Pacific. John owned & operated Hasslen Cabinet and Millwork, St. Paul and then in his retirement he was known worldwide for his reproduction Franklin car parts. Since 1937 John spent summers on Clearwater Lake and moved there from St. Paul in 1973. He was a member of St. John`s Lutheran Church, Antique Automobile Club of America, Franklin Car Club, and a lifetime member & former board member of Annandale Pioneer Park.
He is survived by children & their spouses, John III & Patricia of Elk River, Sue & Tom Masso of New Brighton, Joel & Robin of South Haven, Jean Levey of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Jeff & Joan of Elk River, Sara Hasslen of St. Paul; brother, Thomas & his wife, Valerie of Phoenix, AZ; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren. His wife, infant daughter, Kristin Marie and sister, Jane Anderson preceded him in death.

Michael James Miceli

Michael J. Miceli, age 61, of Maple Lake died Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at his home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2005 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Maple Lake with Rev. Steven King and Rev. Peter Martinson officiating. Interment will be in Maple Lake Community Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday and 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the Church in Maple Lake. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Friday. Memorials are preferred. Michael James Miceli was born December 21, 1943 in Minneapolis to Horace Roy and Marcella (Thill) Miceli. He married Mary Jo Miler and they have lived at Maple Lake since 1979. Mike was employed by the University of Minnesota for 27 years and was a member of the Teamsters Union. He was a Charter Member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, a confirmation educator, and a past Cub Scout leader. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo of Maple Lake; children, Jeffery Yager; Kimberly (Ken) Bade, Jennifer (Brian) Weese, Debra Miceli; brothers, John (Doris Mason) Miceli, Mark (Judy) DuCharme; sister, Kathy (Tom) Kennedy; 6 grandchildren, Travis Erickson, Mackenzie Bade, Joshua Hogan, Paige Yager, Brady Erickson, & Bridget Weese; also many other family and special friends. His parents and sister, Marion preceded him in death. The pallbearers will be Jeffery Yager, Tom Kennedy, John Miceli, Brian Weese, Ken Bade & Brian Bentley. The arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Maple Lake.

Anton Eugene Zahler

Anton E. Zahler, age 84, of Kimball died Saturday, April 9, 2005 at Hilltop Care Center, Watkins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at St. Anne`s Catholic Church, Kimball with Rev. David Grundman officiating. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Gethsemane Cemetery, New Hope. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 8:30-9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball. There will be a prayer service 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Anton Eugene Zahler was born September 3, 1920 at Kimball to Anton B. and Mary (Kaufhold) Zahler. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He married Mary C. Loebertmann on June 25, 1946 in Winsted and she preceded him in death on December 9, 1992. Tony was a building contractor in the Minneapolis area and then in Hot Springs Village, AR. He lived in Robbinsdale from 1946 until moving to Hot Springs Village in 1971 and then back to Kimball in 1991. He was a member of St. Anne`s Church and a former member of Westphal American Legion Post #251, Robbinsdale and Hot Springs Village Volunteer Fire Dept. Tony enjoyed reading, golfing, bird watching and visits from neighborhood children.
A sister, Bernice Kuechle of Kimball and several nieces & nephews survive him. His wife, brothers, Milford, Raymond, Leland, Lloyd & James, and sisters, Rose Schindele & Clara Harter preceded him in death.
The arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Kimball.

Mary Josephine Movern

Mary Josephine Movern, age 87, of Annandale died Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2005 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Victor Valencia officiating. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale. Interment services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 11, 2005 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
Mary Josephine Movern was born October 13, 1917 to Geraldo and Rosa (Marino) Ruglio in Chicago. She married Marion H. Movern March 23, 1946 in Chicago and he preceded her in death September 23, 1975. She was a homemaker and moved to the Annandale area in 1967 where she attended St. Ignatius Catholic Church.
She is survived by nine children & their spouses, Roger & Claudette Dale of Texas, Marian & Joe Voyer of St. Cloud, Shirley Reimer of New Germany, Patricia Stefanoc of Richfield, Harry & Geraldine Movern of Minneapolis, Mike Movern of Annandale, Nick Movern of Annandale, David & Cathy Movern of Minneapolis, John & Darlene Movern of Minneapolis; sister, Angie Pritchett of Las Vegas, NV; brother Danny Ruglio & his wife Mary of Chicago; 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion on September 3, 1975; grandson, John Fiecke; 3 brothers and 1 sister.
The pallbearers will be Matthew, Harry, Jr. & Ronald Movern, Brian Zimmermann, James Reimer, Jr. and Gary Lubarski. The music for the service will be provided by Dureen Gasser. The arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.

Delores Nellie Marschel

Delores N. Marschel, age 77, of Annandale died Friday, April 1, 2005 at the Annandale Care Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Victor Valencia officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday and 1:30-2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Monday.
Delores Nellie Marschel was born October 4, 1927 at Kimball to William and Hubertina (Hanson) Looman. She married Benjamin W. Marschel September 25, 1946 in Kimball and he preceded her in death on September 3, 1999. She was a homemaker, raising twelve children, and also a cashier for Perry`s Jack `N Jill, Annandale. She enjoyed her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, camping, flowers, plants, feedings the birds & squirrels, and shopping at Wal-Mart. She was a member of St. Ignatius Church and Maple Lake VFW Post #7664 Auxiliary.
She is survived by children & their spouses, Karen Oberg of Annandale, Duane & Cindy of Buffalo, David & Donna of Buffalo, Dennis & Mae of Buffalo, Douglas & Coleen of Buffalo, Linda & Joe Baker of Maple Lake, Dean & Terry of El Mirage, AZ, Darrel of Annandale, Judy & Guy Negley of Maple Lake, Donald & Dorothy of Buffalo, DeVan of Rockford; daughter in law, Joni Marschel of Annandale; sisters, Gertrude Loch of Litchfield, Mildred Dircks of Maple Lake; 20 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Daniel; son in law, John Oberg; great grandson, Adam Otto; 6 brothers and 4 sisters.
The pallbearers will be Gary, Troy, Jessica, & Krissy Marschel, Larry Oberg, & Jeff Baker and the honorary pallbearers will be her other grandchildren. The music for the services will be provided by Krista Elsenpeter and Sarah Goelz. The arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.

Richard Anthony Adolph

Richard `Dick` Adolph, age 77, of Kimball died Thursday, March 31, 2005 at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2005 at St. Anne`s Catholic Church, Kimball with Fr. David Trujillo officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Anne`s Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Stearns County Thundering Toms or Kimball Dollars for Scholars. Richard Anthony `Dick` Adolph was born June 16, 1927 at Kimball to Theodore and Catherine (Becker) Adolph. He married Donna J. Zabinski July 25, 1959 in St. Cloud and he farmed in Maine Prairie Township, Stearns County his entire lifetime. He was a member of St. Anne`s Church and enjoyed farming, wildlife, coffee with friends and trips to casinos. He is survived by his wife, Donna of Kimball; special friends, Gary & Vicki Woods and family of Kimball; sister, Marie Alberg of King. NC; brothers & their wives, John T. & Betty Adolph of Kimball and Robert & Beverly Adolph of Kimball. His parents and sister, Alice Becker preceded him in death. The pallbearers will be Jerry & Robert Becker, John & Ray Adolph, Leo Supan and Lee Zabinski. The music for the service will be provided by St. Anne`s Choir with Mary Streit, organist. The arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Kimball.

Howard S. Johnston

Howard S. Johnston, age 83, of Howard Lake, died Saturday, August 6, 2006 at the Howard Lake Good Samaritan Center.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at Beresford Cemetery in Beresford, SD.
Howard S. Johnston was born June 1, 1923 in Hurley, SD to Clarence and Lila (Smith) Johnston. He enjoyed playing his harmonic.
He is survived by his cousins, Pierce and Kendall Smith, Susan Ambur, and Virginia Lee Johnson. His parents precede him in death.

Dorothy Elizabeth Dahlheimer

Dorothy Elizabeth Fouqette Dahlheimer, age 93, of Buffalo, formerly of Maple Lake, Monticello and Albertville, died Friday, September 1, 2006 at the Buffalo Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake. Fr. Mark Huberty will officiate and burial will be at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery, Chatham Township. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. There will be a prayer service Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
Dorothy E. Dahlheimer was born on January 25, 1913 in Little Falls, MN to Andrew and Martha (Gross) Pertler. She was married on January 28, 1929 to Ignatius Fouquette in Maple Lake and he preceded her in death in 1959. She was then married to Matthew Dahlheimer on October 29, 1973 and he preceded her in death. She worked at Wonderall and Honeywell, as well as being a homemaker. She was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake and St. Albert Church, Albertville. Dorothy enjoyed crocheting, sewing, embroidering, quilting, flower gardening, and playing cards.
She is survived by her daughters, K. Lois Bayless of Kennewick, WA and Patricia Tigges and her husband Richard of St. John`s AZ; numberous step-children; 18 grandchildren; 63 step-grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren; 140 step-great grandchildren; 25 great great grandchildren; and 40 step-great great grandchildren. Her two husbands; son, Eugene `Gene` Fouquette; numberous step-children; grandson, Ronald Eugene Olson; three step-grandchildren; great granddaughter, Jessica Rae Fouqette; two sisters and four brothers precede her in death.
Krista Tarbox, organist and Sarah Goeltz, soloist will provide the music for the service. Arrangements were made by Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake.

Irene Abbey

Irene Tverberg Abbey, 93, of Annandale and formerly of Kasson, entered eternal rest on October 3, 2006 at the Annandale Care Center.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 7, 2006 at West St. Olaf Lutheran Church, south of Kasson (70640 260th Ave., Hayfield 55940) with Rev. Kathryn Gauger officiating. Burial will be in West St. Olaf Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral Saturday at the church.
Irene was born February 11, 1913 in Salem Township, Olmstead County to Louis and Evalina (Hansen) Tverberg. She married Wayne Howd Abbey in 1934. The couple farmed in the Hayfield area before moving to Dehnsville where they ran a rural store for many years. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kasson and a member of Bethel Circle. She served as Guild president and Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed gardening and visiting with dear friends and family.
She is survived by her daughters, Darlene (Jim) Wuollet of Rockford, Carole (Jerry) Hagans of Hemet, CA, and Mary Lou (Presley) Gardner of Charlotte, NC; 7 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; sister, Alice Buckman of Wabasha; and brother, Reuben (Edna) Tverberg of Hayfield.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne in 1975; sisters, Ruth Alexander and Joan Lee.
Pallbearers will be Mark and David Wuollet, Scott and Lee Hagans, Preston Gardner and Kevin Johnson. Gloria Pew, organist will provide music for the service. Arrangements were made by Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.

Angela Catherine Baker

Angela C. Baker, age 92, of Apple Valley and formerly of Maple Lake, died Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at the Augustana Health Care Center, Apple Valley.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 6, 2006 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake. Fr. Mark Huberty will officiate and burial will be in St. Timothy Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. Parish prayers will be 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Angela Catherine Baker was born August 6, 1914 in Chatham Township, Maple Lake to Frank and Marilla (Moore) Welton. She lived her entire life in rural Maple Lake. After graduating from Maple Lake High School, she attended Buffalo Normal School, where she earned her teaching certificate. She married Earl F. Baker on June 12, 1933 in Maple Lake and he preceded her in death on April 3, 1983. In addition to being a homemaker, Angela worked as a rural school teacher in Wright County from 1958 - 1963 and at St. Timothy`s Catholic School from 1963 -1976. After retiring in 1976, she continued to substitute teach in area schools. She was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church, CCW, Lady Foresters and the Retired Teacher`s Association. Angela enjoyed cooking, baking, dancing and caring for her family. She had a quick Irish wit and was loved by her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
Angela is survived by her children and their spouses, Kenneth and Mary of Nisswa, Judy and Lance Gillham of Sun City, AZ, John and Elizabeth of Appleton, and Bonnie and Michael Lyrenmann of Prior Lake; brother, Edward Welton of Brooklyn Center; son-in-law, Dr. E.T. O`Brien of Belle Plaine; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Her parents; husband; daughter, Mary O`Brien; grandson, Cory Gillham; sister, Helen Foley; and brother Frank Welton preceded her in death.
Pallbearers will be Eugene O`Brien III, Justin Gillham, Matthew Lyrenmann, Mike, Jacob and Mark Baker. Honorary pallbearers will be Kelli Gillham, Julie Baker and Maleigh Anderson. Marge Pavlik, organist and the St. Timothy Resurrection Choir, vocals will provide the music for the service. Arrangements were made by Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake.

Arthur Thomas Ness

Arthur T. Ness, age 69, of Clearwater died Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 21, 2006 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Silver Creek with Rev. David Fretham officiating. Burial will be in Corinna Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church. A prayer service will be at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Arthur T. Ness was born February 6, 1937 in Peterson, MN to Thomas and Alma (Quamen) Ness. He served his country in the Army from 1957 - 1959 and remained in the Army reserves until 1963. Art married Rhodella Borowicz on April 23, 1966 in St. Paul. He was employed as a painter and paper hanger for over 40 years. Art was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Silver Creek and the Painters Union Local 386. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with family.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Della; two sons and their wives, Daniel and Trina of Clearwater and Steve and Holly of Hawley; grandchildren, Joshua, Brandon, Michael and Mathew; brothers and their wives, Loyis and Joyce of Gratiat, WI and Arnold and Edna of Northfield; sister and her husband, Marian and Robert Barthel of Crystal. His parents; sister, Donna Sorenson; and brothers, Willard and Robert preceded him in death.
The pallbearers will be Adam Gerszewski, Michael Nelson, Donald Mueller and Arthur Sorenson; honorary pallbearers will be Joshua and Brandon Anders, and Michael and Mathew Ness. Darlene Fretham, organist and Maria Glynn, soloist will provide the music for the service. Arrangements were made by Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake.
