Kristi Nicole Merten, age 35, of Kimball died Thursday, October 21, 2010 at a result of an automobile accident near Rockville.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Kimball with Rev. Dave Milz officiating. Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Pearl Lake. Visitation will also be at the Church 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday. There will be a prayer service 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Kristi Nicole Merten was born February 28, 1975 in Cleveland, Ohio to Howard and Terri (Buchholz) Bahn. She has lived at Kimball since 1976 graduating from Kimball High School in 1993. She married Steven Merten on October 23, 1993 and graduated from College of St. Benedict with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing. Since 1998 Kristi has worked at the St. Cloud Hospital most recently in the Children’s Center as a Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with her five children.
She is survived by her husband Steve of Kimball, children Brooke, Luke, Rachel, Paige & Jackie all at home, parents Howard & Terri Bahn of Kimball, sister Jeanni (John) Foss & their children Annie, Sydney, Calvin & Simon of Baxter, brothers Ryan (Jennifer) Bahn of Rockville, Mark Bahn of St. Paul, grandmothers Hazel Bahn of Wood Lake, Gerry Buchholz of Geneva, IL, also father & mother in law Pete & Sandy Merten of Kimball. Her grandfathers Herman Bahn and Herbert Buchholz preceded her in death.
The pallbearers will be Ray Ruehle, Butch & Cindy Stelten, Jeff & Becky Kastanek, John & Stella Hurrle. The music for the service will be provided by Lori Rippentrop.

John Anthony Pribyl

John (Jack) Anthony Pribyl, age 91, formerly of Maple Lake, died Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Centennial Villa Assisted Living in Annandale.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am Thursday, October 21, at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Father Michael Izen and Deacon Mike Medley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 pm on Wednesday, October 20, and 9-10 am Friday, October 21, at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. There will be a prayer service at 7 pm, Wednesday. Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association.
John (Jack) Anthony Pribyl was born June 9, 1919, in Oakland, CA to Frank and Elizabeth (Lammerding) Pribyl. He grew up just east of Maple Lake, farming with his dad, graduating in 1937 from Maple Lake High School. From 1941-1945 he worked in Portland, Oregon at Kaiser Shipyards. He married Doris Elsenpeter on June 15, 1943 at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Maple Lake. Jack and his brother Bud owned and operated Pribyl Brothers’ Garage and Standard Oil Service in Maple Lake from 1947 to 1951. Jack and Morry Eggena ran the garage and sold Kaiser-Frazer cars, while Bud operated the oil service. Jack worked in the tooling department of Minneapolis Moline and then Tel-E-Lect from 1951 to 1979. He started fixing televisions as a hobby in 1952 and did it full time after 1979.
Jack was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church of Maple Lake, the Knights of Columbus, and the Catholic Order of Foresters. Jack and Doris enjoyed dancing, traveling and being with their children and grandchildren. Jack was also lucky enough to enjoy his great grandchildren.
Jack is survived by his children, John and Barb of Crosslake, George of Golden Valley, Marie and Randy Mavencamp of Maple Lake, Margi Kronquist of Maple Lake, Fred and Nancy of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Ted and Angie of Maple Lake; grandchildren, Chad, Susie, Jeff, Ted, Jeani, Tommy, Michael, Kim, Greg, Brenda, Ryan, Jennifer and Mary; great grandchildren, Ella, Anna, Jack, Drew, Carly, Emily, Johnmark, Eileen, Larson, Isabelle, and McKenna; and sister, Mary Gruenhagen of Owatonna, MN. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Doris; infant daughter, Susan; infant great granddaughter Kesha Marie; son-in-law Kevin Kronquist, and brothers, Vernon, Ray and Bud.
Pallbearers will be Jack’s grandchildren. Music will be provided by Marge Pavlik, Randy Mavencamp, and the Resurrection Choir. Arrangements were entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake.

Elvin Earl Fieldseth

Elvin E. Fieldseth, age 85, of Silver Creek, died Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Parkview Care Center, Buffalo.
Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 15, 2010 at Zion Lutheran Church, Annandale. Rev. David Fretham will officiate and burial will be in Corinna Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to the service, Friday at the church. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Elvin Earl Fieldseth was born September 20, 1925 in Highland Park, Michigan to Edward and Elma (Klemz) Fieldseth. Following his service in the United States Navy during World War II, Elvin was united in marriage to Mary Ann Mooney on November 10, 1950 in Annandale. Elvin worked as a milk hauler, was self employed in the construction field, drove school bus for Annandale Public Schools, and worked maintenance for Silver Creek Township retiring in 1999. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Silver Creek, Clearwater American Legion Post #323, Wright County Agriculture Society and Lake Region Pioneer Thrashing Association. He served as president for the Stearns Pioneer Club and Wright Co. Fair Board. Elvin was a life member of Hasty-Silver Creek Sportsmen’s Club and was a former 4H Leader. Elvin enjoyed collecting farm and construction toys, and playing bingo and card games.
He is survived by his children, Gary (Pamela) of Maple Lake, Larry (Margie), Dale (Susie), Mary Kay (Chris) Geldert, Sue (Harold) Stelton all of Annandale, Joanne (Dalonte Greer) of Otsego; 16 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; siblings, Ronald Fieldseth of Cohasset, Shirley Schmidt of Annandale and Lillian Sensing of Tempe, AZ. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Mary Ann.
Pallbearers will be Paul, Brian, James Fieldseth, Charles Geldert, Dan Stelton and Justin Greer. Honorary Pallbearers will be Elvin’s other grandchildren, Curtis Vokaty, and Marvin & Pat Hernwall. Darlene Fretham will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.

Karen Ann Pietrowski

Karen A. Pietrowski, age 66, of Annandale died Sunday, October 31, 2010 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Rochester.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 4, 2010 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Victor Valencia officiating. Private family interment will be at the MN State Veteran’s Cemetery, Little Falls. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Karen Ann Pietrowski was born December 18, 1943 in Little Falls to Lee and Annette (Marotte) Gammon. She was a 1961 graduate of St. Francis High School, Little Falls and married Jerome V. Pietrowski on October 2, 1965 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Little Falls. She lived in Mound until moving to Pleasant Lake near Annandale ten years ago. Karen worked at the Mound Clinic and then at Annandale State Bank from 2001-2008. She volunteered at the Annandale Care Center was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and the Annandale Improvement Club. Karen enjoyed golf, gardening and spending time with family & friends.
She is survived by her husband Jerry of Annandale, sons Steven & his wife Molly of Plymouth, Michael & his wife Kate of Hopkins, sisters & brother Beverly Sahr of Little Falls, George (Lois) Gammon of Motley, Colleen (Clarence) Dahmen of Aurora, Gloria Gammon of Little Falls, Pat Rauch of Little Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Lawrence & Jerry Gammon and sister Donna Brausen.
The pallbearers will be Chris & Ryan Dobis, David & Donald Sahr, Jerry Rauch and Troy Gammon. The music for the service will be provided by St. Ignatius Music Ministry and the arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.

Shirley June Juhl

Shirley J. Juhl, age 69, of Annandale died Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at the Annandale Care Center.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Rejoice Lutheran Church, Clearwater with Pastor Dave Hibbison officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Clearwater. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and at the Church one hour prior to services. There will be a prayer service 7:30 p.m. Friday. Memorials are preferred..
Shirley June Juhl was born February 18, 1941 in Fair Haven Township, Stearns County to Spencer and Sylvia (Gardner) Howe. She attended school in Fair Haven then St. Cloud and graduated from St. Cloud Beauty College. She married Carl F. Juhl, Jr on February 15, 1961 in Mason City, Iowa and they lived many years in the Annandale & Clearwater area. From 1997-2008 she worked for Bernatello’s Pizza, Maple Lake. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family especially activities with her grandchildren..
She is survived by children Karen (Tod) Bozarth of Clearwater, Kim (Newell) Liebelt of St. Michael, Ken (Kellie) Juhl of McGregor, Kevin (Deanna) Juhl of Annandale, Keith Juhl of Annandale, son in law John Laughton of Clearwater, sister Lucille Teel of St. Paul, 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Karla Laughton, and granddaughter Amanda Bozarth..
The pallbearers will be Joshua Ergen, Nicholas & Nathan Liebelt, Samara & Austin Juhl, and Crystal Laughton. The honorary pallbearers will be Mathew Juhl and Adam Bozarth. The organist will be Kitty Helget and the arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale..

Joan Lucille Sterling

Joan L. Sterling, age 78 of St. Cloud, formerly of Annandale and Minneapolis, died Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 2010 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Annandale. Pastor David Nelson will officiate and burial will be at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, Saturday at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.
Joan Lucille Sterling was born September 2, 1932 in Minneapolis to Mathias and Louise (Maahs) Jung. She married Kenneth Herbert Sterling on July 3, 1950 in Northwood, IA. Joan grew up and lived in Minneapolis, before moving to Annandale in 1977. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Annandale. Joan enjoyed fishing, taking bus trips to the casino, wearing her jewelry and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her 5 children & their spouses, Mike & Margaret Sterling of Anoka, Linda & Gary Daniels of Princeton, Cynthia & Gregg Ellsworth of Plymouth, Shari & Randy Deopere of Maple Grove and Tim & Kim Sterling of Waite Park; brother, Jerry Jung of Minneapolis; twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brothers, Walter and Alfred.
Pallbearers will be Walt Jung, Scott Picken, Rob Morlock, Tylor Sterling, Gary Daniels and John Sterling. Orma Lou Jacobsma, organist and Jennifer Sterling Morlock, vocalist, will provide the music for the service.

Anna Bertha Dalman

Anna Zylstra Dalman, age 89, of Maple Lake died Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at the Annandale Care Center.
Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. with Funeral Services held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at the Silver Creek Community Church, Silver Creek. Pastor Forrest Harms will officiate and burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Creek Township, Wright County. Memorials are preferred.
Anna Bertha Zylstra Dalman was born January 10, 1921 at Doon, Iowa to Henry and Sophie (Rozeboom) Weidema. She married Henry Zylstra February 25, 1938 and he preceded her in death on May 21, 1986. She married John Dalman September 12, 1987 and he preceded her in death on October 13, 1993. Since 1946 she lived in Silver Creek Township where she farmed along with her husband Henry. She was a member of Silver Creek Community Church and enjoyed being a homemaker, baking, farming, and her flower & vegetable garden. The joy of her life was entertaining her family and friends.
She is survived by her children & their spouses Sally & Keith Schermer, Bonnie & Melvin Rozenberg, David & Darlene Zylstra; all of Maple Lake, Cindy & Michael Moss of Clearwater, sister Sophie DeBoer of Monticello, brother Henry Weidema of Champlin, 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, brothers, Thomas & Rudolph, sisters, Mary & Tina, and son-in-law, John Norling.
The pallbearers will be Kelley, Joseph, Ryan & Ashley Zylstra, Alison Menk, and Nick Johnson. The honorary pallbearers will be Todd & Sheila Rozenberg, Jake & Katie Johnson, Nancy Johnson, and Debbie Boeke. The music for the service will be provided by Don DeBoer, James Nelson, Jake Johnson, Linda Veches, and Cheryl DeBoer. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Maple Lake.

Louise Weidner Day

Louise Day, age 66, of Waite Park and formerly of Houston, TX died unexpectedly Thursday, December 2, 2010 at her home.
Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 13, 2010 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Annandale with Pastor David Nelson officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
Louise Irene Weidner Day was born April 10, 1944 in New Orleans, LA to Carl and Julia (Morgan) Weidner. She grew up and graduated from high school in Shreveport, LA. She then became a flight attendant and flew with Delta Airlines for about 2 years. She later worked for Citation Oil & Gas Corporation for almost 30 years, before retiring in 2008. On February 12, 1972 she was united in marriage to Ronald M. Day in Shreveport, LA. They were happily married for 28 years, until they were separated by his death on March 7, 2000.
Louise enjoyed the finer things life had to offer. She loved art, music and attending the theatre. She also enjoyed reading, shopping and travel, especially her trips to Florida and England. Her greatest joy was playing with her grandchildren. She was a loving and loyal friend, wife, mother and grandmother. Her family and friends will always remember her laugh, her kindness, and her wonderful smile. We will have a hole in our hearts without her.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Lara & Dana Kjaer of South Haven; two grandchildren, Arthur and Julia Kjaer; her mother, Julia Weidner of Annandale; and her sister, Elizabeth Weidner of Annandale. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl and husband, Ronald.
Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.

Cecelia Rose Pribyl (Davis) Mavencamp

Cecelia Pribyl Mavencamp, age 87 of Maple Lake died Saturday, January 8, 2011 at her home on Sommers Lake.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake. Fr. Michael Izen will celebrate the mass and burial will be at St. Timothy Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. Parish prayers will be held 6:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Cecelia Rose Pribyl Mavencamp was born November 30, 1923 at home in Lansford, ND to James and Margaret (Behm) Davis. She was married to Leo Robert Pribyl on October 14, 1943 at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, Maple Lake. They had 5 children and raised them on the farm east of Maple Lake.
Cecelia worked at St. Mary’s Hospital in Minneapolis, Land O Lakes and while raising her children, she put together Carlson Dolls. After Leo’s death in 1986, she worked at Johnson Department Store and Connie’s Beauty Shop. Hobbies were playing cards, entertaining family and friends, gardening and cooking. She belonged to a card club for 60 years. She volunteered at Silver Maple 4-H, where her children were members for learning living skills.
Cecelia’s spiritual life was very important to her. She was a member at St. Timothy Catholic Church and spent time in the Adoration Chapel every Tuesday morning. Her favorite song was O’ Beautiful Mother.
On January 12, 2001, Cecelia married Bill Mavencamp and moved into his home on Sommers Lake. He has brought her much joy and company as well as adding his children to her family.
She is survived by her husband, William Mavencamp; 5 children & their spouses, Lois & Gary Carlson, Larry & Karen Pribyl, Bonnie & Richard Erdahl and Timothy & Pam Pribyl, all of Maple Lake, and Jacqueline & Daniel Wurm of Buffalo; 8 step-children & their spouses, William, Jr. & Bonnie Mavencamp, Randy & Marie Mavencamp, Joe & Karla Mavencamp, Pat & Judy Mavencamp and Marcia Evenson, all of Maple Lake, Denise & Cory Kramber of Conyers, GA, Nancy & Curt Van Sickle of Rockford and Janel & Todd Swanson of Charleston, S.C.; sister, Irene Woods of Cantin, IL; 15 grandchildren; 27 step grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 14 step great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Maggie; first husband, Leo; grandson, Mark Carlson; step son, Mike Mavencamp; step grandson, Christopher Mavencamp; brothers, J. Patrick, Leonard and Lawrence Davis; sisters, Mary Savelkoul and Catherine Hardy.
Pallbearers will be Steve, Trent and Cory Carlson, Jason, Spencer and Ross Erdahl, Robbi Pribyl, Travis Wurm, Nick and Tyler Mavencamp. Honorary Pallbearers will be Connie Schauf, Heidi Russell, Chelsie Schmid, Staci Wurm, Tanya Manthie and Felicia Ehrenberg. Nancy Van Sickle, Heidi Russell, Felicia Ehrenberg, Chelsie Schmid, Marge Pavlik and the Resurrection Choir will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake.

Ervin Carl Wolfsteller

Ervin C. Wolfsteller, age 93 of Annandale, died Saturday, January 1, 2011 at the Annandale Care Center.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Albion Evangelical Free Church, Cokato. Rev. Philip Geoffrion will officiate and burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Ervin Carl Wolfsteller was born August 21, 1917 at home in Albion Township to Emil and Anna (Engelman) Wolfsteller. He married Harriet Erickson on June 8, 1939 at Bethlehem United Church of Christ. He grew up on the farm in Albion Township, and continued to farm until 1966; for the next 12 years, Ervin worked as a crewman for REA - Wright Hennepin. He was a member of the Albion Evangelical Free Church and the Gideon’s. Ervin was always positive, always teasing, having fun and making the best of any situation. He enjoyed church, family, grandkids and garage sales.
He is survived by five children and their spouses, Sharon Stice of Annandale, Pat & Jim Blossey of Las Vegas, NV, Pam & Richard Picken of Lake Havasu, AZ, Karen Kammer of Annandale and Jerry & Julie Wolfsteller of Annandale; two sisters, Mildred Holm of Annandale and Doris Ross of Indiana; three brothers and their spouses, Lester & Barbara of Reno, NV, Marvin of Minneapolis and Gilbert & Eileen of St. Paul; 20 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren and 1 great great great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his wife, Harriet; parents, Emil and Anna; grandson, Tim Picken; brother, Ray; sisters, Evelyn Geyen, Arlene Zeidler and Norma Thurber-Zander; and sons-in-law, Art Stice and Bob Kammer.
Ervin’s grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Music will be provided by Norma Geoffrion, Harley Wilson and Nate Wilson. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.
