Steele, Susan "Suki" Kowalski

Suki died on May 25, 2001 after a brief battle with cancer.
This is a tribute to her courage and love of life. A truly remarkable woman, who left a lasting impression upon the people she knew throughout her brief life. Her courage and zest for life was only surpassed by her love of her husband, family and friends, her horses, and all her dogs and cats.
An avid, family oriented person, she was the cornerstone of her family, who always pushed them together in a close tight-knit group during the holidays. She was a champion of women's and animals' rights. She stood for the little person in life who had nothing (money or hope) and uplifted them to continue in life and push ahead.
Suki left behind a loving husband, Jon Steele; a sister, Karen (Kimo) Kowalski; her mother, Dorthy Kowalski; and her brother, Louie (Bro Lou) Kowalski.
This remarkable women, after whom we should all pattern our lives, will be sorely missed by all family and friends who were privileged to know her, and love her, especially her brother and best friend. She stood steadfast by his side during good and bad times.
This tribute is to you, Suki, a truly unforgettable person whose only goal in life was to live and love life to the fullest, and who will live in our minds and hearts the rest of our lives.
May she now rest in the loving arms of God and watch over us all. We all miss you and give you our enduring love.
