Schleder, Ada (Mrs. Arthur E.)
Ada (Mrs. Arthur E.) Schleder, 91, Rochester, MN, died Thursday, January 27, 2000 at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester.
She was born July 13, 1908 in Salt Lake City, UT, of Swedish immigrant parents. Ada married Arthur E. Schleder in 1933 while teaching there.
Having received her teaching certificate from Utah State "27" and BA from Winona State "62, " Ada pioneered the "small fry" (preschool) at the Winona YWCA for 22 years while also being an active community volunteer.
Ada moved to Rochester 15 years after Art died of cancer in 1969 at age 62, and continued to widen her circle of warm and loving friends. Art was a pioneer promoter of organic agricultural fertilizer with Super Gro Products and Northern Field Seed in Winona
She is survived by sons, Charles of Rochester and Eric Gordon of Forest Lake; and seven grandchildren, Kristine, Tracy Lynn, Suzanne, Ivan, Senta, Rebecca, and Nicholas.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 12 at 1 p.m. at Vine Funeral Home, 5th St. and 3rd Avenue SW, Rochester. Officiating will be Bishop Robert Foote of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Informal fellowship at Ada's home will follow. Private internment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Winona by her husband's side.

Sievers, Eldred D.
Eldred D. Sievers, 87, of 157 West Third St., died Thursday, February 3, 2000 at his home.
Arrangements are pending.
Pagels, Evelyn (Berg)
Evelyn (Berg) Pagels, 85, of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, died Thursday, January 20, 2000.
Survivors include three sons, one daughter, and two sisters, June (Dan) Pellowski and Dorothy (Ed) Berg, both of Winona.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, a brother and a daughter.
Funeral services were Saturday, January 22. Burial was in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wisconsin Rapids.
Revoir, Eugene S. "Big Gene"
Eugene S. "Big Gene" Revoir, 59, 679 West Fourth St., died Friday, March 24, 2000 in the Emergency Room of Community Memorial Hospital.
He was born August 17, 1940, in Winona to Samuel and Agnes (Stroinski) Revoir. He married Jean M. Kanz on June 17, 1961 in St. Mary's Church, Winona.
Eugene was employed at ICI Fiberite. He was a member of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart Parish. He loved to sing and was a great Elvis fan. Eugene enjoyed being Santa for all his nieces and nephews and many friends. He touched everyone's life that he met.
"Big Gene" will be sadly missed by his wife, Jean "Little Jean, " and pet, Tinker, as well as many brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. We will miss his great sense of humor and warm smile.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Elizabeth and Bernadine Revoir.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, March 27 at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Michael J. Cronin officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Roger R. Kanz, Scott Benson, Bill Kanz, Ralph Kube, Roger W. Kanz and Scott Wieczorek.

Banks-Salter, Zyshaune Kenneth
Zyshaune Kenneth Banks-Salter, infant son of Nataushia Latrice Banks and Leland Kenneth Salter, of 1770 West Seventh St., was stillborn Friday, March 24, 2000 at Community Memorial Hospital.
Private family services will be held.

Tremain, Robert C.
Robert C. Tremain, 88, of the Kensington Apartments, died Sunday, March 26, 2000 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, LaCrosse, WI.
He was born December 20, 1911 in Elroy, WI, to Charles and Anna (Reick) Tremain. He graduated from Elroy High School in 1929 and attended Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis, MN. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II in the Americal Division. He worked as a signal maintainer for the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad.
He married Eileen Steffen on May 11, 1946 at Elroy. He moved to Winona in 1959. Eileen preceded him in death on February 2, 1994.
He was a member of Central Lutheran Church.
He was also a member of the Winona AF & AM Lodge #18, the Rochester Scottish Rite Bodies, the Coeur De Lion Commandary #3 and Winona Chapter #5 RAM, was Past Grand Sword Bearer, Past Grand Chaplain and Past District Representative of the Minnesota Grand Lodge, he was a past member of the Ozman Shrine of St. Paul, and was presently the Worthy Patron of the Eastern Star Chapter #141 of Winona.
He is survived by sons, Charles (Susan) Tremain of Apple Valley, and Richard (Maureen) Tremain of Des Moines, IA; grandchildren, Emily, Anne, Jennifer, Richard II and Laureen; and friend, Gladys Van Alstine.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 29 at 2 p.m. at Central Lutheran Church with Rev. Scott E. Olson officiating. Burial will be in Elroy City Cemetery, Elroy, WI. Rites will be provided by the Elroy American Legion.
Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday after 1 p.m.

Weishorn, Lucille Frances
Lucille Frances Weishorn, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, formerly of 1003 West Howard, died March 27, 2000 at St. Anne Hospice where she made her home for the last five years.
Lucille was born May 9, 1905 in Lake Benton, MN, to Charles E. and Mae C. (Finch) Lavesson. She married Gordon L. Weishorn on February 22, 1927 in Minneapolis, MN. Gordon died March 28, 1974.
Lucille was a member of First Congregational Church and formerly a member of Circle 3, Dorcas Sewing Circle, Winona Chapter #141 Order of Eastern Star, Winona County Historical Society and a life member of AAA of which her husband, Gordon, was a Minnesota State Executive Secretary. For many years they enjoyed traveling with the AAA and visited many foreign lands.
Lucille loved her family and home, and enjoyed her yard, her flowers, and feeding the birds and squirrels. She loved her children and spoiled her three grandchildren and their children. For many years she assisted her husband, Gordon, at the Gordon Agency which they founded in 1959.
Lucille is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Mae Johnson and Patricia Lucille Heise (Philip) of Winona; three grandchildren, Lucretia von Rohr Hobbs (John) of Tulare, CA, Kimberly Lavesson Heise, Winona, and Philip Gordon Heise (Sandy) of LaCrosse, WI; three great-grandchildren, Maxwell Edwards Hobbs, Sabrina Patricia Heise, and Katherine Cleary Heise; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Bernice Evelyn Sinks.
Visitation will be one hour before services on Thursday, March 30, at 2 p.m. at Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home with Rev. Rick King of First Congregational Church officiating. Private burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Baer, Reverend Robert A.
Reverend Robert A. Baer, formerly of Winona, died January 25, 2000 at his home in Westland, MI, after an illness of several years.
Rev. Baer served as Pastor of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church for 26 years, retiring eight years ago. Services were held at St. John's Ev. Lutheran in Westland, on January 29th, with burial following at Glen Eden Lutheran Memorial Park.
Rev. Baer served as Vicar at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church (WELS), Winona, under Rev. A.L. Mennicke from 1953-1954. He graduated from the Seminary in Thiensville, WI in 1955.
Rev. Baer served as Secretary of the WELS Southwest Conference of the Michigan District, Secretary of the Michigan District WELS Finance Board, Chairman of the WELS Stewardship Board and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Martin Luther Memorial Home, and a member of the Board of Directors of Glen Eden Lutheran Memorial Park in Westland.
In June of 1955 he married Sondra Zoe Stephens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stephens, Winona, at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Winona. She survives as well as their three daughters, Heidi (Ron) Zartman, Lisa (Mike) Dest and Katie (Steven) Boggia; and grandchildren, Jessica, Rachael and Brittany Zartman, Allie and Madison Dest, and Kayla Boggia.
His parents and a sister, Esther Seig, preceded him in death.
