Ritter, Otillia L. "Tillie"
Otillia L. "Tillie" Ritter, 90, died Saturday, March 10, 2001 at St. Anne Hospice.
She was born September 20, 1910 in Winona, to Marcel and Valeria (Zywicke) Ritter.
She graduated from St. Stanislaus Grade School, Cathedral High School, and Winona Secretarial School. She retired in 1973 after 23 years as secretary and receptionist at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart Parish. Prior to that she was employed at the Diocese of Winona weekly newspaper, then known as the "Sunday Edition of Our Sunday Visitor."
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Valeria, Frances, Wanda and Helen, and brothers, Romuald, Leo, Frank, Floyd and Robert.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday, March 20, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church with Rev. Daniel R. Dernek officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of Mass at the church.

Haskett, Cecil M.
Cecil M. Haskett, 88, of 703 Wilson St., died Monday, March 5, 2001 at Community Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 19, at 11 a.m. at Watkowski-Pronschinske Funeral Home with Pastor David Futral of Cornerstone Community Church officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Marek, Robert John
Robert "Bob" Marek, 56, of Homer, Minn., died Tuesday, March 13, 2001 at his home.
A memorial service was held Thursday, March 15, at St. Mary's University with Rev. Kris Fahey officiating. A private burial will take place at Cedar Valley Lutheran Church at a later date.
Flynn, Clifford John
Clifford John Flynn, 89, of Callista Court, Winona, died Thursday, March 15, 2001 at Community Memorial Hospital.
He was born on December 22, 1911 in Nelson, Wis., and grew up and lived in Eau Claire, Wis. for 20 years. Clifford was one of ten children born to Martin and Margaret McCabe Flynn. He married the former Dorothy M. Stoltz on December 31, 1938 in Davenport, Iowa.
Clifford worked as a systems analyst for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. His job took him to Madison, Wis., Chicago, Ill., and Kansas City, MO, where he retired in 1971. Following retirement, he and his wife traveled from 1971-1976. They moved to Marshfield, Wis. in 1976 and resided there until 1997 when they relocated to Winona.
While living in Chicago, he was responsible for reviving and developing a neighborhood youth basketball program. For over 30 years while living in Kansas City and Marshfield, he and his wife taught kids how to bowl. Clifford was also an active horseshoe player until 1997.
He is a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Winona; Marshfield, Wis. Knights of Columbus; formerly a member of the Holy Name Society of Chicago, Ill.; served as the historian for the Midwest Chapter of the Civilian Conservation Corp., and was active in the development of the historical site dedicated at Clam Lake, Wis. in 1992.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy of Callista Court; a son, Gary Flynn of Winona; grandchildren, Christy (Michael) Bellock and Timothy Flynn, both of Winona, and Michael Flynn of Vero Beach, Fla.; and great-grandchildren, Jessica and Lucas Bellock of Winona.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and six sisters.
Preliminary services will be Monday, March 19 at 12:30 p.m. at Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 1 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph L. Keefe officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, March 18 from 3-6 p.m. where Father Keefe will lead a prayer service at 5:30 p.m. Friends may also call on Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Casketbearers will be Christy, Michael and Jessica Bellock, and Michael and Timothy Flynn.
Memorials gifts may be given to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Winona.

Cisewski, Orvilla A.
Orvilla A. Cisewski, 72, of 681 West Fifth St., died Friday, April 6, 2001 at the Watkins Home.
She was born March 15, 1929, to Lester and Vernes (Hammer) Buchholz. She was baptized in Arcadia and confirmed in Cochrane at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church. She married John Cisewski in 1946 in Winona.
She owned and operated EB's Tavern with her husband, John. She volunteered at Community Memorial Hospital for many years. Orvilla enjoyed the outdoors and going fishing. She was a member of St. Martin's Evangelical Lutheran Parish.
Orvilla is survived by her loving husband, John of Winona; two children, Robert (LaVonne) Cisewski of Fountain City, Wis. and Mavis (Al) Whiteford of Zimmerman, Minn.; three grandchildren, Kim Ehmann of Maple Grove, Minn., Laurie (Colin) Rath of Rollingstone, Minn., and Robert (Jennifer) Cisewski Jr. of Minnesota City, Minn.; four great-grandchildren, Jacob Cisewski, Jesse Cisewski, Cody Hundorf and Coltin Rath; two brothers, Robert (Lillian) Buchholz of Oak Creek, Wis., and Larry Buchholz of Milwaukee, Wis.; four sisters, Dorothy (Alan) Breitbach of Caledonia, Minn., Helen Hvizdak of Cudahy, Wis., Mary Ann (Marcel) Herrick of South Milwaukee, Wis., and Nelda (Ted) Nowacki of Milwaukee; and a sister-in-law, Rita Buchholz of Racine, Wis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Wilmer Buchholz, and two infant sisters.
Funeral services were Tuesday, April 10, at St. Martin's Lutheran Church with Rev. Timothy Dost officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Al Whiteford, Bob Cisewski Jr., Roger Pearson, Mark Herrick, Dan Hvizdak and Gary Buchholz.

Hauser, Debbie Ann
Debbie Ann Hauser, 48, died at her home in Winhaven Court on Saturday, April 7, 2001.
She was born in Winona on March 5, 1953 to James E. and the late Genevieve (Wicka) Hauser.
She is survived by her father, James E. Hauser; a special aunt, Josephine Caldwell; brothers, James A. (Hayden) Hauser, Thomas Hauser, Michael (Susan) Hauser; and sisters, Patricia (Jeff) Hauser/Dinsmore, Susan (Richard) Brang, and Jone (Greg) Kujak.
Debbie also leaves nephews and nieces: Thomas J. (Amy) Hauser, Tricia Hauser, David Hauser, Phoenix Hauser, Zachary Hauser, Logan Hauser, Jessica Stier, Samantha Hauser, Noah Hauser, Sarah (Travis) Langowski, Melissa Brang, Kristin Brang, Stacy (Chris)Stout, Kate Kujak; and many kind friends.
She was a proud graduate of Winona Senior High School (1972) and worked at Fastenal.
Debbie was a gift of God, innocent of malice and blessed with an ample, if quiet spirit. She enjoyed the company of her large family and so very many people. She was an active member of her community, especially her faith community at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, and the People of Faith at Tau Center. A spiritual person, a maiden, she participated in Project Compass Bible study groups, and Community Education activities at Winhaven Court with her lady friends.
We shall miss her gentle soul and Mona Lisa smile.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, with Rev. John M. Sauer officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Pine Creek, Wis.
There will be preliminary services Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Watkowski-Pronschinske Funeral Home.
The family suggests that memorials be directed to the People of Faith group at the Tau Center.
Pallbearers will be Jim Hauser, Tom Hauser, Mike Hauser, Jeff Dinsmore, Dick Brang and Greg Kujak.

Ellie Rose Glodowski, 24, of Altoona, Wis., and formerly of Pine Creek, Wis., died Friday, April 6, 2001 at her home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Creek, Wis., with Rev. Robert Polcyn officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Riley, Joyce Ann
Joyce Ann Riley, 66, of Bloomfield, Iowa, died Sunday, April 8, 2001 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, Des Moines, Iowa.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 11 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Rev. John Speigel officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral service.
Woll, Cora P.
Cora Pauline Woll, 96, of Cokato, Minn. and formerly of southeastern Minnesota and Litchfield, Minn., died Saturday, April 7, 2001 at the Cokato Manor in Cokato.
Cora was born on February 23, 1905 in Hector, Minn., the daughter of Emma (Neubauer) and John H. Rice. In 1932 she married Erwin L. Woll in Hector. He died July 1, 1993.
Cora was a hairdresser in Rushford, Minn. and the surrounding Winona area.
She was a former member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Hart, Minn. and loved to fish and garden.
Survivors include two sons, John (Joanie) of Pine City, Minn. and Lee (Connie) of Eden Prairie, Minn.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, John (Mary Jane) Rice of Willmar, Minn.; and two sisters, Bertha and Orma Pederson, both of Hector, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Gary, three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, at Faith Lutheran Church in Winona, with Rev. Mark Dumke officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Winona.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
Pallbearers will be James, Michael, Steven, Justin and Jonathan Woll, Dennis Pederson and Leslie Laffen.
Memorials may be directed to the Cokato Manor, 180 Sunset Avenue, Cokato, MN 55321.
