Heidi Ann Rowe, 35
Died: March 30, 2004, in Rochester, MN.
Heidi Ann (Hulbert) Rowe was born March 22, 1969 to Steve and Diane Hulbert of Fargo. She was raised in Fargo and graduated from Fargo South High School in 1987.

She earned her bachelor degree in Speech/Communications from Iowa State University in 1991. A highly talented athlete, she competed at the highest NCAA levels of springboard and platform diving. Shortly after college, she returned to Fargo in 1992 to take a position with the FM Convention and Visitors Bureau. During her years at Iowa State, she met Robert M. Rowe of Elmhurst Illinois. They were married at Brookdale Baptist Church, Moorhead, MN, in October 1992. Heidi continued to work until the arrival of their daughter, Amanda, in April 1995. She then devoted and invested her life to raising her children. Their son, Luke, was born in February 1998.

Diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes at age 6, Heidi fought a heroic and valiant battle throughout her life against the debilitating and degenerative effects of that disease. Over the past 15 months, she had the privilege of receiving 2 donated organs and superb medical care at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Heidi died suddenly on Tuesday morning, March 30, 2004 from complications related to her recent transplant.

To all who knew Heidi she was a genuine ray of sunshine, even in the midst of her own troubles. The source of her happiness, strength and peace came not only from the loving and faithful support demonstrated by her family, church family and friends, but most importantly from her personal faith and trust in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Heidi's continuing desire is and was that those around her would come to know this kind of love and peace that is freely available to all who will humbly surrender and seek God's forgiveness even as she did when just a young child. We are calmly assured that Heidi rests today, well, whole and free from pain in the arms of her Lord. Philippians 4:6-9

Heidi is survived by her husband; Bob, one son; Luke, one daughter; Amanda, her parents; Steve and Diane Hulbert, one brother; Mark (Deborah), Fargo, ND, four nieces and nephews; Daniel, Stephen, Rachael, and Timothy.
