Albert Buzz Hergott

The Reverend Albert Buzz Hergott, died on Friday, February 17, 2012, at his residence.
Buzz was born March 1, 1944, in Shakopee, MN, the son of Albert and Phyllis (Engel) Hergott, Sr. He married
Sandra Seifert on June 5, 1965, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Prior Lake, MN.
Buzz was employed by Gabberts and then Rahr Malting Company in Shakopee; he then received the Lord in 1980 and became a Pastor. He served both the Chaplaincy program at Canterbury Park, and jail ministry in Shakopee. For a number of years Buzz was the co-pastor at River of Life Church in Shakopee, and retired in 2008.
Buzz enjoyed fishing and playing sports. He was a 17-letter winner in 4 sports, football, basketball, baseball and track, and was inducted in to the Prior Lake Senior High School Laker Hall of Fame in 2004.
Buzz is survived by loving wife, Sandy; sons, Jeffrey (Kathy), and Mark (Sandy); grandsons, David, Ryan, and Nick; special granddaughter, Rachel; sisters and brother, Janice (Charles) Marquardt, John (Deanna) Hergott, Judy (Art) Snell, Diane (Roy) Calloway; many special nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; nephews, Brett Snell and Ryan Carkhuff.
Agnes M. DeVille

Agnes M. DeVille, age 100, of Shakopee, died on Saturday, February 11, 2012, at St. Gertrude's Health Care Center in Shakopee.
Agnes was born on July 6, 1911, the daughter of John and Mary Ann (Geis) Grommesch. She married
Andrew DeVille on August 22, 1953, in Shakopee.
Agnes worked as a housekeeper/cleaner for several families in Shakopee. She was a member of both the Council of Catholic Women at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Shakopee, and St. Bridget's Society of Marystown. Agnes enjoyed playing cards, embroidery, and she was a sketch artist.
Agnes is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Andrew; brothers, Jack, Fritz, Joe, and Ray Grommesch; sisters, Ann Theis, Marge Theis, and Toots Breeggemann.
Agnes M. VonderHeide

Agnes VonderHeide, 91, of Waseca, MN, formerly of Minneapolis and Shakopee, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 11, 2012, at Lakeshore Inn in Waseca.
She was born September 22, 1920 in Tomah, Wisconsin the daughter of Paul and Anne Eickner. On April 3, 1937, Agnes married
Raymond VonderHeide and together they built a home in Minneapolis, where they welcomed two children, Raymond and Sandra.
In 1985 Agnes moved to Shakopee, after the death of her husband. For 15 years she regularly volunteered at St. Francis Hospital in the Med/Surge unit, and belonged to the Shakopee Senior Citizens Club. Agnes also enjoyed spending time with her family - especially her great-grandsons, reading, completing cross-word puzzles and doing embroidery and crocheting.
Agnes is survived by her son, Raymond D. (Margaret) of Budd Lake, NJ; daughter, Sandra Schultz of Shakopee; grandchildren, Raymond D. (Nicole) VonderHeide of Morristown, NJ; Jody (Andrew) Buckmeier of New Richland, MN, Kimberly (Christopher) Voxland of Shakopee; great-grandsons, Alex Buckmeier, Michael and Jacob Voxland; niece, Louise (Joe) Vincent; nephew, James (Shelly) Eisenzimmer. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; parents, Paul and Anne Eickner; siblings, Harold Kingsley, Elsie Eisenzimmer, Eva Anderson; son-in-law, Kenneth Schultz.
Reviewal was Tuesday, February 14, from 4-7 p.m., with funeral service following at McNearney Funeral Home in Shakopee. Burial was at Fort Snelling National cemetery on Wednesday.
June D. Regan

June (Kahler) Regan, age 94, of Shakopee, died at Shakopee Friendship Manor Nursing Home on February 4, 2012. Born April 25, 1917 in Minneapolis. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry C. Regan (1997). June and Jerry owned Scott County Drug in Shakopee. She is survived by 3 children, Emmy Lou (John Forbes) of Iowa, Jerry (Sandy), of Colorado, David (Irma), of Chaska; 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild. June graduated from the U of Minnesota and worked with her father F.W. Nick Kahler at his NW Boat, Sports and Travel shows before marrying and moving to Bemidji, then Shakopee. She was an active volunteer with the St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary, community blood drives, a life-long Sunday school teacher and church worker, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts at which all benefited from her twinkling eyes and radiant smile.
Einar C. Odland

Einar C. Odland died peacefully on Thursday, February 2, 2012, at Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park.
A son of the late Einar H. and Inger (Aasen) Odland, Minneapolis. Einar was born on January 13, 1930, in Stavanger, Norway. He spent his formative years in Northeast Minneapolis and later attended the University of Minnesota.
Einar proudly served in the Army's airborne corps during the Korean conflict. Following his discharge, he and his bride relocated to Shakopee, Minnesota, which became their home for the next 60 years.
An avid sports-lover, Einar's greatest passion was his golf game. He was a member of the New Prague Golf Club and Shakopee's Stonebrooke Golf Club where he enjoyed many years of play with friends and family. When not golfing, Einar's love of sports led him to countless years of volunteer activities for the Shakopee High School Athletic Department. He particularly loved watching his grandsons, Cory and Casey, play hockey. Additionally, Einar was a proud member of the Sons of Norway-Uff da!!
He leaves behind JoAnn, his loving wife of 59 years; son, Einar P. and daughter-in-law, Beth (Hennes); grandsons, Cory and Casey of Shakopee; daughter, Kris and son-in-law, Robert Thorlakson of Odenton, Maryland; siblings, Lillian Weinberg of Scottsdale, Arizona, Dr. LeRoy W. Odland of Edina, Minnesota and Frank Odland of Denver, Colorado. And, last-but-not-least, his four-legged daughter, Mindee.
John Ryan

John R. Ryan, Jack, age 57, of Shakopee. Born on February 5, 1954, the son of John P. and Dorothy (Pool) Ryan. Jack served in the United States Navy. His work career was at the Ford Motor Plant. One of his hobbies was coin collecting.
Survived by son, Josh; daughter, Amy; 4 sisters and 5 brothers. preceded in death by parents, John and Dorothy Ryan; and 2 brothers.
Richard D. Meuwissen

Major Meuwissen, Richard David, U.S. Air Force Retired, age 55, of Savage, MN, passed away peacefully Wednesday February 1, 2012 at The Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine, MN, surrounded by family after a 12 year battle with a traumatic brain injury.
Rich graduated from Minneapolis Southwest High School, received a B.S. from the University of Minnesota and an MBA in Finance from Ball State University Indiana.
Rich had an 18 year career in the Air Force as a KC135 navigator, ROTC Professor, and joint strategic planning commissions.
Rich was intelligent, athletic, competitive, and fun-loving. He was genuinely kind to people, and everyone who met him loved him.
preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy. Survived by his loving wife, Sandy; father, Kenneth; 3 children, Tara (Joe) Castello, Elissa, John (Amanda); siblings, Pat Meuwissen-Meyer, Sharon Meuwissen, Gail Dean, Sandra Roach; many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his loyal service dog, Noah.

Jean V. Dressen

Jean V. Dressen, age 85, of Shakopee died on Wednesday, November 19, at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Jean was born on February 23, 1929 in Shakopee the daughter of George and Lorraine (Eder) Kaley. She married
Earl Dressen on February 4, 1948 in Shakopee. Jean was a Life Time Member of the ladies Auxiliary of Shakopee Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4046 and the Shakopee American Legion Post 2. She also served as a volunteer with the Bloodmobile and the Loaves and Fishes Program.
Survivors include her children, Steve (Sheila), Ed, Deb Macius, and Tim; 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; brother, Dick (Nellie) Kaley; sister, Vonnie Rademacher. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents and brother, Don Kaley.
Mildred Rita Ludowese

Mildred Rita, age 89, of Hopkins, entered eternal life on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at her home.
Mildred was born in Stewart, Minnesota, on November 5, 1925, the daughter of Dominic and Kathryn (McGraw) Ludowese. She worked as an accountant for FSI in Chaska, Minnesota.
She is survived by family and many friends.
Norbert N. 'Nubby' Theis

Norbert N. Theis 'Nubby', age 83, of Shakopee, entered eternal life on Monday, November 17, 2014, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee, MN.
Nubby was born on January 13, 1931, in Marystown, MN, the son of Anton and Margaret (Hennen) Theis. He married
Corrine Kerber on July 18, 1950, at St. Hubert's Catholic Church in Chanhassen.
He was a 4th Degree member of the James F. Campbell Council #1685 Knights of Columbus of Shakopee.
Although his primary passion was farming Nubby worked as a production and engineering manager at Minneapolis Moline and ADC Telecommunications. He served as the Chairman of Jackson township for 20 + years and was instrumental in the development of the 169 bypass and bridge. In this role he also served on various state transportation committees. Nubby enjoyed many activities and lived life to the fullest, among his favorites were card playing, time at the cabin, coaching tug of war teams and MN Twins baseball.
Family was very important to Nubby, he loved his time with them.
Nubby is survived by his wife, Corrine; children, Steve 'Hank' (Sherry), Bruce (Nancy), Connie (Paul) Doepke, Larry (Solveig), Jesse (Judy), Cindy (Vern) Pieper, Renee Erickson, Keith (Theresa); grandchildren, Sarah, Jenna, Charlie, Adam, Matt, Angel, Karen, Lucas, Abby, Brad, Mandy, Micah, Jake, Zach, Kelsey, Brian, Ashley, Tony, Meghan, Halle, Lindsey, Kayla, Kasey; 27 great-grandchildren; sisters, Esther Weinzierl and Arlene Luce. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen; grandson, Nathan; parents, Anton and Margaret; brothers and sisters.
