Leona E. Ausham (nee Henning)
3/8/1929 — 11/16/2014
Leona E. Ausham, age 85, formerly of Shakopee, Eden Prairie, and Worthington, entered eternal life on Sunday, November 16, 2014, at District One Hospital in Faribault, Minnesota. Leona was born on March 8, 1929 in Reading, Minnesota the daughter of John and Ida (Schoo) Henning. She married Lloyd Ausham January 28, 1948 in Worthington. Leona was a 1946 graduate of Tracy High School and was a retired employee of Rosemount Inc.
Leona is survived by her daughter, Julie (Rodney) Zellmer of Amboy, Minnesota; grandchildren, Andrea Zellmer (Matt Haugh) of Delaven, Minnesota and Alison Zellmer of Minneapolis; sister, Cleo Taylor of Faribault and brother William Henning of Shakopee. She was preceded in death by her husband (1990); son, Keith Ausham; brothers, Quirinus, Arnold, Donald and Jack Henning; sisters, Loretta Paine, Geraldine Jamieson Dorothy Malcolm, Viola Bennett, Esther Benedict, Inez Coulter and Wilda Myers.

Leona was multi- talented and a hard worker. Throughout her life she did everything from housework, farm work, cooking, waitressing, daycare, seamstress, cashier and office work. She could whip up a wonderful meal after a full day's work or when any of her 13 brothers and sisters and their families would come over, which she loved dearly. Her apple pies were the best apple pies.

After she retired, she joined a bowling league, loved to golf, volunteered at Methodist hospital, cooked at soup kitchens and helped with funerals at church. She was a life- long member of the Worthington Ladies Auxiliary.

Wife, mother and grandmother, Leona was a devoted Catholic and raised her kids to be nice, mind your manners and don't cuss. She was always there for you and willing to help in any way she could. And she loved to shower her granddaughters with gifts and hugs.

Her presence here on earth will be missed by those who knew and loved her but the memories she left will always be in our hearts.

Sofiya V. Belanovich, age 66, of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2014, at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, Minnesota.

Vernon A. San
3/8/1920 — 11/15/2014
Vernon A. San, age 94, formerly of Shakopee, entered eternal life on Saturday, November 15, 2014, at the Belle Plaine Lutheran Home.
Vernon was born in Highlanding, MN on March 8, 1920, the son of Olaus and Eva (Lorentson) San. He grew up on the family farm, and attended school in Goodridge, MN. On September 21, 1955 in Sioux Falls, SD, Vernon married Marian Johnson (Blom) of Trimont, MN. He worked road construction until he retired.
Vernon served as a medical technician in the United States Army during WWII; he served in Africa, Italy, and Palestine. He was a member of both the V.F.W. #4046 and American Legion Post 2 in Shakopee.
His hobbies were gardening, fishing, traveling and old cars. He was always 'fixing and tinkering' around the house.
For over 20 years, Vern and Marian traveled to Arizona for the winter months. They made their home in Trimont, Shakopee, and Waterville, MN, and Apache Junction, AZ.
Vernon is survived by his wife, Marian; children, Rosella (Vern) Mix, Douglas Johnson, Barbara (Dale) Tordsen, Mary Kay (Paul) Kes, Rebecca (Chuck) Novakovich, Patricia (Brent) Dunn; grandchildren, Duane Mix, Anna (Mix) Lokensgard, Steven Mix, Michael Mix, Erin (Johnson) Covietz, Lucas Tordsen, Elizabeth (Tordsen) Scrogginthorpe, Jesse Tordsen, Jennifer Novakovich, James Novakovich, Brian Dunn; 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Olaus and Eva; brothers and sisters, Sadie Geving, Olga Kereluk, Leona Cain, Leonard San, Melford San, Paul San, Kermit San, and Edwin San; granddaughter, Kristene (Johnson) Heyer.

Nadzeya I. Hanchar
9/25/1928 — 11/7/2014
Nadzeya I. Hanchar, age 86, of Anoka, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2014, at her home.
Nadzeya was born on September 25, 1928, in Smolensk, Russia, the daughter of Ivan and Fekla Klimenkov. She was married to Anatol Hanchar.
Nadzeya worked as an operator on high pressure machines.

Rick A. Weckman
4/3/1956 — 1/2/2015
Rick A. Weckman, age 58, of Carver, formerly of Shakopee, passed away at his home on January 2, 2015.
Rick was born in Shakopee, Minnesota, on April 3, 1956, the son of Hubert and Evelyn (Stelten) Weckman. He married Betty Jean Psyk on January 21, 1992, in Miami, Florida.
For 6 years, Rick was the owner of Moon Valley Rifle Range. Motorcycling was his favorite hobby. He also enjoyed hunting, old classic tv shows, watching racing and helping out as part of the pit-crew.
Rick is survived by his wife, Betty Jean; sons, David (Megan) Psyk, Brian (Stacie) Psyk; siblings, Jim (Linda), Steve (JoAnne), Jeanette (Dean) Shaner, Randy (Shelly), Sue (Joe) Kreuser, Shelly (Gregg) Geske; grandchildren, Jacob, Anthony, Zachary, Ella; many nieces and nephews. preceded in death by parents, Hubert and Evelyn.

Marlene Berg
1/2/1937 — 1/2/2015
Marlene Berg, age 78, of Shakopee, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2015, in Shakopee.
Marlene was born on January 2, 1937, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Kenneth and Margaret (Madzey) Weyrauch.
She married Vern Berg, and they were past owners of Lions Tap and Shakopee Bowl. Marlene was an avid bowler, who also enjoyed crafts and playing bingo. She was the true definition of a prankster. Marlene spent many enjoyable hours attending her grandchildren's sporting events.
Marlene was preceded in death by her husband, Vern; son, Gary; parents, Kenneth and Margaret Weyrauch; brothers, Kenneth and Dave. She is survived by daughter, Kathy Derhaag; sons, Chuck (Shannon), Ken, Russ (Jenny); grandchildren, Wayne Derhaag, Wendy Derhaag Corona, Holly Berg, Kirstie Keller, Lisa Rademacher, Jim Berg, Carter and Mitchell Berg; step-daughters, Doris (John) Lyons, Shirley (Chuck) Forare; great-grandchildren, Tate, JoRae and Chase Derhaag, Shaylee, Rayann and Jace Rademacher.

Gary C. Lindstrom

Gary C. Lindstrom, age 74, of Shakopee, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2014, at the Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine, MN.
Gary was born in Minneapolis, MN, on December 5, 1940, the son of Lester and Lillian (Barrette) Lindstrom.
Gary served his country as a United States Marine in the Vietnam War.
He earned a BS Degree from Florida Atlantic College, and a BA Degree from the University of Minnesota. Gary was an accountant.
He enjoyed reading, and was very interested in History and Wars. He loved his time with his grandkids.
Gary is survived by his wife, Sandi; daughters and sons, Sarah Hamlin and husband, David, Edward and wife, Mele, Joseph, Becky Radiske, and Eric; 9 grandchildren; sister, Jody Hughes; cousins, nieces and nephews. preceded in death by sisters, Leslie Johnson and Debra Peterson; parents, Lester and Lillian.

Alex J. 'Dick' Schmidt
5/2/1923 — 12/23/2014
Alex J. 'Dick', age 91, of Shakopee, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, surrounded by his family, at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.
Born on May 2, 1923, in Shakopee, Minnesota, the son of Peter and Catherine (Meier) Schmidt. He married Darlene Beckrich at Church of St. Mary in Shakopee, on May 2, 1950. He worked the family farm, retiring in 1973.
Alex loved to create wooden crafts, toy cars and trucks. His passions were fishing and sewing quilts for all of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He took great pride in the care of his lawn. He volunteered at Friendship Manor Nursing home, and helped with fish fries there. After retirement, Alex also worked at the local bait shop.
Alex is survived by wife of 64 1/2 years of marriage, Darlene; sons, Mike, Phillip (Tessie), Norbert; daughters, Bonnie Yau (special friend, Roger), Diane (Gary) Nelson, Darla (Mark) Stockburger; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Paul (LaVina); brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Karen; parents, Peter and Catherine; brothers, Roman, Harold, Bob, Al, Walt, Joe, Tony, and Art; sisters, Ann Brown, Theresa Lehnen, and Marie Bisek.

Norman L. Norring
6/5/1928 — 12/19/2014
Norman Norring, age 86, passed away Friday, December 19, 2014, at the Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine, Minnesota.
Norman was born on June 5, 1928, in Duluth, MN, his parents were Lloyd P. and Mildred (Roscoe) Norring.
Former resort owner in northern MN and real estate broker. Besides his family he enjoyed travel, people, and telling about his adventures. He was a Mason and a lifetime member of the American Legion. Norman was a Naval Corpsman in WWII.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores; sons and daughters, Larry and wife, Barb, Daryl, Tom, Dean and wife, Colleen, Nancy Loken and husband, Wayne, Brenda Greer and husband, Chris; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; former wife, Gloria Norring. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Mildred; son, Norm, Jr.; granddaughter, Jessica.

Marie Irene Bisek
8/19/1933 — 12/17/2014
Marie Irene Bisek, age 81, of Shakopee, entered eternal life on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at Mala Strana Health Care Center in New Prague, Minnesota.
Marie was born in Shakopee on August 19, 1933, the daughter of Peter and Catherine (Meyer) Schmidt. She married Francis Bisek on June 23, 1962, at Church of St. Mark in Shakopee. She had her own Daycare in Shakopee for over 30 years.
Marie enjoyed farming and gardening, fishing, caretaking, kids, and loved her big family and all her relatives. She also absolutely loved the Christmas season.
Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Francis (2014); daughter, Linda Catherine Stier; parents, Peter and Catherine Schmidt; brothers, Roman, Harold, Robert, Al, Walter, Tony, Joe, and Arthur Schmidt; sisters, Antonette Brown, Theresa Lehnen. Survived by sons, Chuck (Gloria), Tim (Megan); son-in-law, Terry (Rachel) Stier; grandchildren, Tanner, Tyler, James, and Derek Bisek, Francis and Barbara Stier; brothers, Paul (LaVina) Schmidt, Alex (Darlene) Schmidt.
