Linda C. Stier
Born Aug. 19, 1964 in Shakopee, Linda was the daughter of Francis S. and Marie I. (Schmidt) Bisek. Growing up in Shakopee, Linda had many fond memories with her two brothers. She graduated from Shakopee High School in 1982. Linda met the love of her life, Terry Lee Stier. They exchanged wedding vows June 5, 1993 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Jordan. In 1994, they welcomed their son, Francis, and in 1996 welcomed their daughter, Barbara, into the family.
Enjoying the outdoors, Linda loved camping, horseback riding, fishing and working in her flower gardens. Being a dedicated Minnesota sports fan, she enjoyed cheering on the Twins, Vikings, MN Wild and Timberwolves. Working as an administrative assistant for Shakopee School District at Sun Path Elementary, Linda treasured the friendships established with her co-workers and the students. She was also a member of the Jordaness Lions.
Family was her biggest passion in life. Linda treasured each moment. She enjoyed the fishing excursions with her husband. As a mom, she loved attending Francis' and Barbara’s school activities and watching their sporting events. Being a supportive wife, Linda enjoyed attending the Jordan Fire Department functions and conventions.
Linda was 46 years young when she passed away peacefully into God’s arms the morning of Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010 at her home in Jordan.
Linda is loved and will be deeply missed by beloved husband, Terry; son, Francis Stier; daughter, Barbara Stier; parents, Francis and Marie Bisek of New Prague; brothers, Charles (Gloria) Bisek of New Prague, Timothy (Megan) Bisek of Shakopee; parents-in-law, Louis (Elaine) Stier of Jordan; siblings-in-law, Kevin (Sharon) Stier of Prior Lake, Louis (Toni) Stier of Prior Lake, Dennis Stier of Shakopee, Troy (Jennifer) Stier of Jordan; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and lots of friends.
Visitation was Tuesday, Dec. 21, from 3-8 p.m. and from 9-10:30 a.m. with the Celebration of Life Service on Wednesday, Dec. 22, at 11 a.m., all at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Jordan. Pastor John Meyer officiated. The interment is at Spirit Hill cemetery in Jordan. Pallbearers were Timothy Bisek, Charles Bisek, Kevin Stier, Louis Stier, Dennis Stier, and Troy Stier. Linda’s honorary pallbearers included Tyler Bisek and Derek Bisek.

Marilynn Rita Jensen
Marilynn Rita Jensen, age 58 of Prior Lake passed away on Thursday, November 22nd, 2007 at The Lodge on Natchez at Elko, MN.
Marilynn was born May 1 1949 at Minneapolis, MN, her parents were Albert & Mildred (Commers) Meunier.
She married
Harold Jensen April 30 1995 at Holy Trinity United Methodist Church in Prior Lake, MN.
Marilynn is survived by husband Harold Jensen of Prior Lake, son Marcus (Tricia) Jensen of Robinsdale, son-in law John Anderson of Prior Lake, grandchildren Christian, Maxwell “Max” & Ryan, sisters Jeri Graleske of Brooklyn Park, Karol Dayton of Plymouth, many relatives and friends.
She was preceded by her parents, daughter Nicole Andersen, brothers in law Tom Graleske & Larry Dayton.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 25th, 4 till 8 PM at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home in Prior Lake. There also will be visitation at the church 1 hour prior to service. Funeral Service will be Monday, November 26th, 10:30 AM at Holy Trinity United Methodist Church in Prior Lake.
Inurnment will be at Credit River cemetery in Prior Lake.

Larry Ray Murr
Larry Murr, age 65 of Prior Lake passed away on Friday, November 23rd, 2007 at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville.
Larry was born to Edd & Velma (VandenBerg) Murr on March 26th 1942 at Chariton, IA

Sharon Denhardt Murr on October 31, 1964 at Jefferson, IA.
He is survived by wife Sharon Murr, sons Brett (Sara) Murr of Savage, Todd (Tammy) Murr of Prior Lake, David (Casey Schwartz) Murr of Washington D.C., grandchildren Thomas, Ashley, Ryan, Austin & Laura Murr, mother Velma Murr of Columbia, IA, brother Roger ( Donna) Murr of Peoria, IL, sisters Mary Loynachan of Reinbeck, IA, Martha (Randy) Johansen of Pelham, AL.
He was preceded by his father Edd Murr, brother-in law Bill Loynachan.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 27th, 5 till 7 PM at Holy Trinity United Methodist Church, 16150 Arcadia Ave. SE, Prior Lake.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, November 27th at 7:00 PM at Holy trinity United Methodist Church in Prior Lake with the Reverend Ron Nicholas presiding..
Interment will be at Columbia cemetery, Columbia, IA.

Alice Shaughnessy, age 81 of Prior Lake formerly of Fridley passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 28th, 2007 at her residence.

Thomas Cunningham
Thomas Cunningham, age 81 of Prior Lake passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007 at his home.
Tom was born April 11, 1926 at Minneapolis his parents were Thomas & Sophie (Volkert) Cunningham.
He was married
to Joyce (Pliedrup) Cunningham June 6, 1953 at the Little Brown Church in Nashwauk, Iowa.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Joyce, his 3 sons, Steve (Lucy), Bill (Gail), Bob (Katherine); his 6 grandchildren Grant, Brian, Katie, Thomas Elizabeth & Liam, and many nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters.
Tom is a US Navy Veteran and served aboard the USS Massachusetts during World War II in the South Pacific. After discharge, he married
Joyce Pleidrup and began his 38–year career with the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture. Tom and Joyce settled in their lake home on Prior Lake with their three sons, Steve, Bill and Bob in 1965.
Tom was a member of the Prior Lake VFW Post #6208. The Prior Lake Veteran Honor Guard provided military honors.
Visitation is Monday, December 3rd, 4 till 7:30 PM at Ballard–Sunder Funeral Home in Prior Lake. There also is visitation at the church 1 hour prior to services.
Celebration of Life Service is Tuesday, 11:00 AM at Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran Church in Prior Lake.
Interment will be at Spring Lake cemetery, Prior Lake.
Memorials are preferred to Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran Church.

Otillia “Tillie” Broz
Tillie Broz, 90 of Prior Lake, MN passed away Nov. 29, 2007 at her home.
She was born November 1, 1917 at Pine City, MN, her parents were Frank and Antonia (Lorenz) Von Drasek
Tillie married
Philip C. Broz on August 6, 1942 in Wayzata, MN. Philip died May 15, 1981.
She is loved and forever missed by: her daughter, Phyllis J. Broz and dear friend, Jerome C. Goodrich of Prior Lake, MN; son, Philip J. (JoAnn) Broz of Prior Lake; granddaughter, Katherine J. Broz of Prior Lake; friend, CoCo the dog.

Jennifer Dolan, age 35 of Jordan passed away suddenly on Friday, Oct 5th, 2007 at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.
Jennifer was born May 11, 1972 at Cambridge, MN her parents are Carl Scott Sholund & Sherri Geer Sholund
She married
Matt Dolan on June 21, 1997 at Cambridge United Methodist Church.
She is preceded by: grandfather John L. “Bucky” Geer, grandmother Alyce Joyce Sholund, grandfather-in law Marvin Carney, grandparents-in law Bernie & Mary Dolan.
Jennifer is survived by husband Matt Dolan of Jordan, children Emilee & Joshua, father Scott Sholund of Cambridge, mother Sherri Geer Sholund of Brooklyn Center, sister Amy Sholund of Rodgers, grandfather Jack Sholund of Big Fork, grandmother Virginia Geer of Woodbury, In-laws Tom “Mike” (Jean) Dolan of Pine Island, sister- in law Kimberly (Greg) Jeansonne of Pine Island, grandmother-in law Ruth Carney of Pine Island, family & friends.
Jennifer worked as a Systems Analyst for a manufacturing company, She enjoyed scrap booking, reading, family, being outside, hunting & fishing, and community band.

Visitation will be Monday, October 8th, 4 til 8 PM at Hope Lutheran Church in Jordan. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 9th, 1:00 at Hope Lutheran Church in Jordan with the Reverend Steven Thompson presiding.
